Do you have/know if there is a video showing how to make the start of the hat? I can do everything else but my friend has to start my hat and i want to know how to start that circle i just dont seem to get it, if there is a left hand version to make the starting circle that would be great thank you! and this hat looks awesome!

@tanneke1968 Work less increase rounds. You may want to stop increasing when you get to the rounds with 50 or 60 stitches.

how do you keep up with after you do 12 sc in the middle..how do you know where to  put your first stitch in round 2 and so on you have no markers to show ...

@62jenjen By counting. The first round has 12 sc. Once you have counted to 12 you know you need to start on round 2.

when I seen your pumpkin hat & then you did the same one but without the stem I thought they was so cute but I just couldn't get the pattern right so I did it up just like this one! so cool that I now can use this pattern instead of guessing! I started off making 1 for my 13 yr son but once the other kids seen it then I had to make them one too -- ended up making 4 total =)

what a great idea to change up the colors on the ties & the way you ended the ties!
