  • I had the pleasure to be part of the company from September, 18 2000, until March 29, 2011 when they closed the North Carolina Distribution Center. I began working for them when I was 18 years old. It was all I knew. My wife leaving did not hurt me nearly as bad.

  • @cotybarker I Did not know Robb and Stucky was also in North Carolina.

  • @rescuehero942 Robb & Stucky came to North Carolina in the late 90's with a warehouse because most of their domestic furniture came from right around here and imports could be received on the coast of North Carolina. They first leased a ragged old building for a few years and then built a new facility in a different part of the state. I moved with them from the mountains of NC to the piedmont (central NC). After they closed, I found work back in my home town and moved back.

  • So you...go to furniture stores often?

  • @RandomDandomVids No. But there's a whole lot of furniture store closing commercials out there on YouTube.

  • @rescuehero942 No, I mean, you said it would truly be missed. I meant that you don't seem like the type of person that goes to furniture stores.

  • @RandomDandomVids I Fixed the description. I Have photos of Robb & Stucky Going Out Of Business On Flickr. and, one more thing, ASK ME HOW TO GET PLUG AND PLAY TV GAMES FOR UP TO 70% OFF!!!
