  • Looks like the Diaz rematch is up in smoke .

  • Great walk out music choice for Carlos Condit

  • @jmoore1301 He walks out to a lot of rage songs

  • THE NATURAL BORN KILLER!

  • CARLOS CONDIT!!!!

  • @ovywan08 I caught that too..he put on a show last night,,badass song to step to the ring to..RAH!!

  • Man where's Rage Against The Machine when we need them!! They should be playing concerts all across America protesting everythign that's happening today!

  • @nowthatsfunny1 nothing has changed and they will just be saying the same shit all over again. i was wondering why they werent around til that crossed my mind.

  • @nowthatsfunny1 They should play a concert for NJ Governor Chris Christie! :D

  • Instrumental: Hammer!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Gesang: Scheisse

  • Vuelve RATM Y ven a COSTA RICA !

  • @PlayerGuitar123 You feel the same anger that just about all their songs evoke. In Bruce's you feel the bleakness, the frustration, the hopelessness. Hey, I like the Rage version just fine -- you got some mad riffage goin' on in there. But Bruce has the nuance. He uses understatement and silence to evoke more than simple rage.

  • ha ha I always thought it was Ghost of Tom Jones.... yes I am kinda simple I guess

  • Both UP but Springsteen did it best

  • I newer new that RAGE plays this song.

  • I newer new that RAGE has this song

  • Springsteen should thank Rage everyday he wakes up, for this song was garbage until Rage covered it.

  • @Cola3607 Springsteen's version is quite good, I have to say. Rage has a unique take on it, as always, and I'd he hard-pressed to say which version I like better. Springsteen and Pete Seeger also did this song as a duet once, and that one was good, too.

  • @ProletarianRage - Springsteen and Morello did a performance of it too, was pretty jaw dropping

  • @Cola3607 ...I don't like to make personal attacks...yes I do, fuck you and your incorrect opinion.

  • @Numonkei Thanks. My opinion, that's exactly what it is. I'm not holding a pistol to your head telling you to agree, you obviously have your own opinion, which I respect. I guess me and you just go about things differently.

  • @Cola3607 I disagree, It was a pretty awesome song - but it was just him singing with a guitar and a harmonica - it was a completely different song that applies to a completely different part of your brain.

  • @Cola3607 fuck you

  • Comment removed

  • @Cola3607 Personally, I think the original is 1000 times better than this version. But this is great too.

  • @Guitar92player Thats because you're a loser though

  • @Fadsmashers If being a loser means liking all types of music regardless of sound or style and appreciates all forms of music for what it is, then yes, I am the biggest loser in the world. I love both versions, but the reason I like the original because it captures the emotions of the book, which I am sure you didn't read because you sound like a moron who lacks knowledge of common sense, reason, and universal acceptance. This version is great too because its an angrier feeling.

  • @Cola3607 hey dumbass if it was garbage Rage would have never covered it

  • @joesomenumbers yuppp, all covers

  • "Time and time again the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots... it is its natural manure."

So the question is, would you take shit or would you bleed for your freedom?

  • Tom Jones is dead?

  • Still get intense goosebumps when he's yelling "You'll see me!!" over and over again. Makes me wana get up and do shit about how fucked up the world is... then the song ends.

  • @leemblake

    Strapping Young Lad.

If your not used to "wall of sound" production you might want to try out some of their lazier albums such as SYL or the new black.

Or gofergold and get City and Alien.

  • @Wabaanimkii Excellent taste

  • I remember this game I used to play when I was a kid. I would get held upside-down and lowered into a trash bin and grab as many cans and bottles as fast as could.

Wait.......Why the fuck did I think that was a game?

  • I dont know why this is a cover. They couldve just written their own lyrics and called it their own song

  • I use to be an adrenaline junky and the only 2 bands that got my blood flowing was RATM and Slipknot. I liked to clean house to this but since I got a little older its not as potent. I could run through a brick wall before. Anybody got any suggestions. Might buy an energy drink or dr pepper. I quit smoking too but i dont know if that use to help or not. I like to go full throttle. Might take a vitamin with a dr pepper.

  • @leemblake

this is one of the funnier posts ive read on youtube....hahaha

  • @leemblake Vitamin and Dr. Pepper. Look out we got a badass over here.

  • @leemblake Smoke weed, then you won't mind.

  • 18 people with horrible taste in music.

Strange hearing RAM quoting Jesus. I like it. Wonder if they know they did it, for I hear people often say "A house divided against itself cannot stand", and ignorantly attribute it to LIncoln.

Rage quote Jesus, saying "The first shall be last, and the last shall be first."

  • @Vaekkrinhart the Boss quoted Jesus, you know this was his work, right?

  • They use to shoot people for that.

  • "...bathing in the city aqueduct" ... classic.. (spits)

  • Hits close to home. Fantastic song.

  • John Steinbeck's work is a horrible read.

  • Don't forget to read George Orwells book

    1984

    With it.

  • Taken from

    John Stienbecks

Grapes of Wrath, in Chapter 28.

Look in his Eyes Mah, and you'll see me!

  • @FireDropTechnologies Lol my whole English Unit is on him

  • 18 people are nazi's

  • @Arbiterisl33t69 Crushing mice is cool.

  • Of Mice and Men is better than Grapes of Wrath, that boring ass shit.

  • @Arbiterisl33t69 I couldn't even sit through the movie for Grapes of Wrath, never mind actually read it...

  • @xxMMxKIDxx Your loss

  • @Arbiterisl33t69 You must have completely missed the point of Grapes of Wrath then. Congratulations.

  • @ThisIsHe11

And that truly makes it any less boring? No, it doesn't.

  • @Arbiterisl33t69 Uhh, yes. You're probably in high school, huh?

  • @ThisIsHe11 what the fuck does that have to do with anything you pretentious douche

  • @Roughsauce It has a lot to do with it you "pretentious douche". Chances are this kid has never had a job in his life and been exploited by an employer, so how can he relate to Grapes of Wrath? Chances are this kid has never had a family relying on him to take care of them. Chances are this kid has never been homeless. Chances are this kid has never missed a meal before. Do I really need to go on? Move on to another video, e-warrior.

  • @ThisIsHe11 chances are you're still a fucking douche, and he can have his own opinion.

  • @Roughsauce Good comeback, says the guy acting like a hardass online. I never said he wasn't entitled to his opinion you fuckin' retard, so get bent bitch.

  • @ThisIsHe11 its funny coming from the guy trying to act like a hard ass online. i'm not acting like a hard ass, i'm just defending a kid. you know in real life, that'd be considered assault. he's just a kid, its not like he has to have gone through these issues. and being in high school has nothing to do with it, I had a job in highschool and i was exploited. don't cry about it, jeez.

  • @Roughsauce Uhh, what? I never tried to act like a "hard ass" online. You obviously got butthurt when I expressed my opinion. If you can't take criticism then grow a pair, kill yourself, or go cry to your mommy. It's as simple as that.

  • This song makes me wanna show some wall street trader that 'the night is young'.......

  • @inwardfraction shut your face you fuck

  • Tom Joad... The Grapes of Wrath. John Steinbeck. Fuck all of you who failed to read the message of this song till it was too late

  • True this is not the original, but it is such a unique cover that I love it. Rage made this song their own, and it is one of my favorite songs that they've ever recorded because of it.

  • i am no % i am i

  • words can't describe how glad i am that i can hide the top comments

  • I am the 83%...

  • A completely awesome song!!!! Great message for times like these.

  • You can draw allot of similarities from Grapes of Wrath, and what is taking place today. Big business and the banks are still fucking the little man over, like they were 70 years ago.

  • Our teacher gave this song to analize for homework <3

  • @Vicks007kid We got to listen to it in class!

  • Did anyone know that this song was written by Bruce Springsteen?

  • @lrwiersum only the lyrics actually

  • @lrwiersum Sure did that's how I got here....like the original better

  • '@lrwiersum about the book "Grapes of Wrath" John Steinbeck. dunbass its abouit the book. read it

  • @caseyangus lol "dunbass"

  • @caseyangus lol "abouit"

  • @caseyangus Till it was too late? What happened to those who didn't get it? Did they die or something?

  • @lrwiersum The whole Renegades album are covers of songs that inspired them, for example Maggie's Farm by Bob Dylan

  • @lrwiersum Who cares. this version destroyed the original

  • @lrwiersum lol i didnt know ratm did a cover of it.

  • @lrwiersum Renegates of funk is an album of covers...

  • @JustABitOfRocknRoll but it's a nice one.

  • @JustABitOfRocknRoll actually the album is called renagades, one of the songs on it is renagades of funk

  • @lrwiersum this one is better though. haha

  • I'm pretty sure all the songs on Renegades were covers.

  • @lrwiersum ...Yes.

  • You'll see me.

  • Long live rage

  • Fuck Apple

  • @strawpurchasepublish Occupy Wall Street!!!!!!!!

  • @yorkshirerepresenter OWS is a corporate 1% movement don't be fooled, you've been ACORNed, squirrel

  • @LordAkaneon no it isnt lol. Believe me I know

  • @BobDawg173 Protesting banks and wall street by sitting in a park is like protesting grocery stores by starving yourself to death.

  • @LordAkaneon So we should do nothing about it? Is that your solution? Might as well become slaves.

  • @BobDawg173 Buy a 40 oz bottle of beer or small flask of hard liquor. Empty the contents into a glass, off to the side. Fill the bottle with gas. Add a bunch of sugar to the gasoline to thicken it. Plug the neck of the bottle using a cork or, alternatively, plug it with the end of the T-shirt/rag which you will tie on in the next step. Get a T-shirt/rag and soak it in the beer/liquor. Tie it tightly around the neck of the bottle. Light it and throw it. That's my solution.

  • @LordAkaneon Every time some black bloc member smashes a bank window or something, though, he gets beaten up by one of the tie-dye dreadlock peaceniks who care more about their indie bands than positive social change.

  • @nocturnezero Get real. He gets beaten up by the cops. The dreadlock peaceniks never throw a punch. They stand there and laugh at the black bloc. It's time for us to realize we're doing it backwards. Instead of fighting the cops, we need to beat up the peaceniks and occupiers first. That will get us news coverage. Then with the added support, we become the only organization in opposition to the police state.

  • @yorkshirerepresenter occupy a job

  • @tgrfan42069 Occupy some intelligence mindless sheep, you probably love fox news douche bag.

  • @Anarchistriots love how most of you the government is out to get us people think if someone has an opposing opinion from yours they have to automatically like fox news.fact is i cont stand fox news.i can make my own opinions on things.

  • @tgrfan42069 I don't believe "the government is out to get us" the government is just doing what all governments do oppress individual freedom and in the process be corrupt bastards. I never said you couldn't think for yourself but the fact of the matter is most people just believe in what ever the "majority" do and in so doing so aren't thinking for themselves.“

  • @yorkshirerepresenter occupy NOTHING!

  • @strawpurchasepublish Fuck off.

  • Did anyone know that this song is about tom joad in the grapes of wrath a classic novel by john steinbeck

  • People look at firemen, teachers and other union people and say "why dont they have shitty pentions like me?" When they whould be saying "Why dont i have a good pention like them?"

  • one of the best songs r.a.m. ever did

  • How anyone, anywhere, could ever prefer Bruce's version over this is beyond me.....

but how anyone could like Bruce in the first place is also beyond me so there ya go.

  • @dude1305

So I guess that includes RAGE, as they very obviously do.

  • @BaronM Sure does. Don't get me wrong, the lyrics are amazing, but to my ear all of Bruce's music just sounds so.... generic.

  • Grapes of Wrath still a high school reading requirement? Was for me 13 years ago.

  • @afhevh yup read it two weeks ago, I loved it and this lol

  • Probably one of the best covers ever recorded. Can't wait for the new album!
