  • I love ur Hijab videos :)

I think it's weird the way some Muslims come on saying 'this is not hijab' 'ur lame' ' ur hijabs are not nice' etc and even 'like' other bad comments and talk about reading the Qur'an to see what is says about covering,,,,, it's also in the Qur'an to insult people and laught at them too isn't it? I understand some people just want to advise Madiha and all but some of u r really insulting. I think they r creative and if u dont like 'em stop watching the videos. Really.

  • u r not makin it easy for ur self by acumulating sins with u teaching other womans how to make them self apearant to the man on the streets

  • thats not hijab thats a scuff

    get real sister

  • ok you have just made a change in hijab style i've been wearing that one piece all together hijab for like my whole life most people find girls that wear hijab un atractive as a friend

  • i wanna say this is a great hijab style and also as long as it covers you up your doing just fine! and i understand when people say to not catch men attention but there is women that wear the regular hijab that still get comments from people!!!!!!!!!

  • Get a new camera with a better picture of everything and btw, I did not like this video. sorry

  • fuck off rag head.

  • u r insane

  • Bismillah, sorry Sister i cant see the reason, why you do this? May be you read the wonderful Quran and may be Allah swt let you go the right way. That can not the right message von Allah swt to the muslim womens to be. You look like beautifuler till kaffur womens. I dont understand the reason why you wear hijab? Please take the hijab in the right form like how Allah swt love it and not for the show. Allah swt like to show you the right seriös way, inshallah. Wasalam Sister

  • I have that same problem too, my underscarf or cap sometimes likes to slide b ackwards. I have a couple slick spandex caps but they are the worst at sliding back so if I use them I'll have to put another gand under it, one of my cotton ones. Nice video though. :-)

  • Salam Alekom sister!

I am a muslim too and i looked on your video and i like the way you put your sharf on its really nice.

I have to say that you are funny to i like that. :-)

I hope its okej with you.

    Salam

  • snap! we hav the same name and same spelling!! awesome vids btw!! xx

  • i love the way you do your scarf but it's too much any ways i will try to do it

  • i hope you don't get mad but i like your video and i'm not a girl but i hope i can follow your video channel... :)

And yes.. "May Allah guide us all." as you said...

  • Hahaha, u're funny & amazin' sister. MashAllah. Learnin' a lot from ur vids.

    Salamaalikum.

  • Sorry, I didn´t know that this style was from Spain. I live here and I can see it´s true, but I thought this was a usual way to wrap hijab! I´ve been to Morocco too, and it seems to be quite similar. How old is this style? Do you know when this started? Thanks!!

  • Well it hasn't been a widespread trend here in Egypt till maybe...2003-2004? Before that, the most stylish thing was a sewn under scarf or something lol. At least to the general public.

It's called the Spanish wrap because it's similar to gypsies. At least that's my wild guess. They did wear headscarves to the back that way as I recall.

  • very nice video! beautiful hijab

  • LMAO

  • really very nice style sister!!

  • Salaam aleikum! :D

I wold like to know something: Is Madiha same than Madeeha? I think people pronounce these names the same way(are these names both pronounced "madiha"?) but the way to write them is different. Am I right? :)

  • Madiha is how my name is written but it's pronounced "Mad-ee-Hah" where the capital H refers to the *heavy* letter H we have in the arabic alphabet called "Hah" and the last h is sorta silent. just to give more softness on the end of the H :P. Madiha means: A Praise. or "Praise Worthy".

  • Ur a life saver

Thanks soo much for your hijab tutorials

  • Islam gave women the dignity of any culture there is now after the goods are still trafficking in the Koran with her, and that between the human and the right to inheritance, right in the care of children and texts very much in the Koran urging leniency b attached to the mother and also the satisfaction of God's Kank

  • i love the style, though im not that good at it

  • habibti, wear a base cap (omta) when ur doin these so ur hair doesnt show :)

  • i know everyone keeps telling me that, but I really don't like wearing caps underneath my scarves. I find that more frustrating. This only happened because I was a bit hasty due to the time limit youtube has and I didn't tie it tight enough as I usually do.

  • great tut! thanks for sharing!

  • Why is everyone freaking out that you let some hair show? I am sorry, I will admit I am ignorant of Islamic rules and such but I find it fascinating. I always love learning about other cultures and beliefs.

  • Thanks for defending but I didn't *let* my hair show, it slipped and it was a mistake :P.

  • Well I was wondering why people are getting all twitchy because it showed? What is the rule on that? I know nothing of Islamic culture but would love to learn. BTW, I may just join SecondLife to come to that protest if it is still going on and if non-Islamic people are allowed there. I was really touched by your video talking about it.

  • anyone is allowed lol doesnt matter if your muslim or not :)

  • Well as soon as I can figure out how to move around on there I will be sure to come over then :) Is there any specific dress code? Anything in particular I should do or not do? I really don't want to offend anyone.

  • no dress code at all and just be yourself nothing to really think about everyone is very nice there but watch out for the stupid newbies who have to ask how to breathe but other than that its a pretty peaceful place

  • If that was the case, when you were viewing your video before posting it on Youtube you could have realised your mistake and edited it and/or redid the whole thing. Instead you saw it, realised your mistake but didn't do anything about it, you know, other than make lame excuses up.

  • What's the point of wearing a "hijab" if your hair's going to show?

  • I did not let my hair show. It slipped because I didn't tie it tight enough and I mentioned that in the video.

  • Comment removed

  • My last comment was a reply to "LeMusqueCritique" not Maddie lol

  • That was beyond lame LMAO.

  • i ike it really.looks adoreable

  • u should wee a under piece so u dint show ur hair

like u kno those little stiky silky one belive me it eally halps

  • yes I know that but for me it just makes it more of a hassle and then I have to worry about three scarfs slipping instead of two :P. the trick is just to tie it very tight in a certain way that frames the hairline just right.

  • it is your fault if your hair shows. you should be more careful next time. Wear the ameera scarf that way u wont have to worry about ur hair showing. I would rather wear ten hajjabs to prevent my hair from showing rather then then go against what my religion tells me to do. so if your styling your hajab and your hair shows in your little tutorial make another one to prevent ppl from seeing your hair...

  • You're saying people but my vids specifically say no men! It ain't my problem if they come peeping, and honestly I did the best I could. And I asked for Allah's forgiveness. Thank you for your concern! It's not like I have my bangs showing like most gulf girls!

  • this is not maddie but her friend and i think that was totally uncalled for she can do what she wants to so lay off. If you not a clone of mohammed the prophet then you have no room to judge. It will just come back on you

  • Thats not da real hijab sista. This is like a fashion party or something else...

  • I already mentioned this is for engagements or weddings.

  • you are funny thanx for the video

  • OHHH<3 YOUR ADORBLE MANSHALLAAH ! UR FIANCÉ ? u cant be that old ? can u?

  • LOL I'm not that old! I'm 19. Dont make me feel old. It's enough we have to call the 90's- the 90's!

  • Hey Maddy, I love love love ur tutorials. Just a helpful tip: before you tie the scarf in the back, try holding them together with a safety pin. it'll keep you scarf in place and prevents ur ears from sticking out at the most inconvenient times. lol. keep up the good work!

  • Thanks :). Yeah I know that already, I just have pin shortage sometimes and I get lazy to look for em' lol.

  • heehee it happens.

  • omg stop

  • okay G im sorry lol.

  • very nice oukhty

  • Lovely hijabs. Keep it up.

  • I'm not hurt at all because I understand you've been fed the wrong information and are extremely ignorant about Islam. So come back when your mindset Isn't 11 years old and talk to me like a mature-reasonable-ain't-a-sucker-for-the-media-Adult. I know I am. Respect me. I'm human just like you and I don't go bombing people, thats AGAINST Islam. Look it up. Infact, look everything up.

  • You were probably looking for her hair. That is a sin also.

  • Q-U-R-A-N. Or K-O-R-A-N.

  • hey go suck jesus balls :D

  • wait that last comment was to the guy not you maddie lol

  • oh come on sundus, he's still our prophet, too ya know.

  • omg are you really taking that joke seriously

  • Its hard to laugh about religon. But I get where you're coming from anywayz. I can't talk now, not cuz of the joke lol but cuz I only had three hours sleep, my meds make me sleep when i dun want to n have insomnia at night lol. love you :). toodles!

  • kay that was the weirdest comment ive ever gotten from you and its not about religion and it was aimed at the guy who was saying he could see ur hair so toodles :)

  • Noo I don't mean who you said it too, it was the phrase itself. And yeah I have to take jokes related to prophets pretty seriously. I know you above most people would understand that! I'm not mad, alright lol. Just tone it down a lil, thats all.

  • love ur tutorials!!

    very useful!!...thanks sis!!

  • love it madihaaaaaa...

    keep it up hun..

    yours blondy ;)

  • shes not freaking mother teresa i think she knows it not the true hejab but do you see how she covers her neck even tho its not part of the hejab because shes knows its not the right way of hejab so shove it

  • Thank you!! :D. I voted for you by the way.

  • The opposite of true hijab is lie hijab. Hahahaha. Lie hijab. I'm so funny.

  • lol kim u ok?

  • i saw 1 of the videos u talking about ur friends in the-state-dont-have-scarf-u-r-so-right-i-get-mine-from-egypt-hahahha-funny-ur-video-is-great

  • Your videos are very nice sister...Masha'Allah. But in this video you can see your hair as you are explaining the style before you actually started. Just becareful :)

  • Salam Alikom, Asterfurallah, Sister seek repentance from Allah swt, you are on a slippery slope.

  • Wa aleykom el salam. I don't think you read the description, now did you? :). And it's "Astaghfur Allah".

  • i think you should mind your own business you know nothing about her and judging is actually haram because allah did not give you that right so dont judge when you dont know anything about her

  • Your face is on a slippery slope, MrsJabari.

  • IM LUV THAT@

  • ... life behind it and that it is true choice and it and it might makes it especially for my family easier to accept the choice with "innovative" styles of hijab than with the "traditional" ones. But it is always also the question of the community you are living in.

  • Yeah thats my whole point in making these. It's to help. I'm not trying to taunt or get girls to dress less modestly or anything like that. I'm trying to get girls *to* dress more modestly lol. My friends at college tell me the way I wear hijab make them think again about hijab and perhaps consider it. So I hope I do some good! Allah knows best. However, everyone please DONT wear this and show ur neck. That is the purpose of the scarf and make sure there isn't anything showing at all.

  • Salaam,

Sister i don't understand why you try to do these styles when you have to use so many layers, hijab is suppose to be simple and to cover you hair, not a attraction statement!

All i am trying to say is hijab is to cover your chest and your hair and for modesty not for styles and using so many layers to make it look beutifull, ok its ok for Eid in the house but not outside, you really are brainwashing other muslimahs!

  • Oh pls..leave the child alone..she is not corrupting anyone..we can all make our own decisions..Good for her that she instead of deciding not to wear the hijab is finding attractive ways of wearing that and nothing is wrong with it and all this stuff about attracting people it takes two to tango so even if she did attract someone and she is not interested I am sure she would know how to handle it. So take a chill pill and lower your eyes

  • you say it sister lol

  • wa aleykom asalam.

Please look at hijab fashion magazine and muslim girl magazine and tell me who's brainwashing who!! lol

  • That was a male, what's he doing on a vid where she clearly says NO MEN.

  • Hmmm, I just would like to say that I love this video and the idea behind it, because it makes it a lot easier for new converts from the "west" like me, to do the right thing. Especially that in the near and dear surrounding (friends & family) are concerned about the change, since there is less understanding and it will take time for them to adapt and to realize that being a muslim does not mean being opressed and with styles of covering she is showing,it shows that there is real...

  • The solution to slippage in front is to tie a headband of woven linen or cotton over your hair line as an underbase for everything else. Silk and even worse silky synthetics are slippery. But cotton and linen will stay put on your hair, and help keep a slinky fabric in place.

    Love your videos!

  • PS. oh i might be able to get away with this style IF i dont cover my neck because instantly my mom will say ARE U TRYIN TO LOOK LIKE A MUSLIM

  • your are so funny and cute! i wish it was acceptable for nonmuslim females in the US to wear hijab, just as like a fashion. i have tons of them, i loved wearing them when i was in the middle east. i definately would call my style east meets west and wish i could take it further, but wayyyy too much controversy, and more so my mom would HATE IT!

  • pumpmar-Then Dearest Non-Muslim Sista u hav a choice 2 make. R u going 2 b a LEADER or a FOLLOWER? Remember,if u don't stand up 4 something, ull fall 4 anything. Enuff said. Peace!

  • Thank you :). I guess I gotta tell ya there's more to hijab than just a scarf...and the way it looks. It's like saying "Stop right there, this is all you're gonna see, because I am not to be judged by how I look, but my soul,

my heart and my mind. I am a person. I don't want men drifting away in thought about my body or whatever, you can't look and you can't touch. I value myself, and I don't need some guys' approval or validation. Or society's for that matter". Just thought I'd tell ya :).

  • i get thats how it is for you however for me i'm looking at the style and asthetic aspect of it. though i dont think any guy could care less about how awesomely my headwrap was done, unless he was gay.

  • LOL probably true hehe

  • i get it cast of charmed i always thought you were saying cats of charm lol

  • holy crap i just deleted ur comment by accident O_O. Can you post it again? lol :shy:

Anyway I never judged ur veil! your veil is pretty....I think you'll wear hijab right when the time is right. love ya!

  • its there lol it just finished uploading lol

  • i wanted more :(
