Read Flair's book. This whole thing makes sense. After Sting became popular because of Hogan, Hogan's ego needs massaging. It took Hogan YEARS to finally get his revenge on the Warrior after losing their Wrestlemania match. He brings him into WCW, hypes up the feud, and then he "wins"? Now he's turned Sting heel for NO reason at all except Hogan's own sense to "get even." This is what happens when you give ego maniacs full character / veto power.
