Oh my God, Wanda was so cool. These chicks can sing. Them, the Vandellas, Mary Wells, Brenda Holloway, Kim Weston were some of the coolest singers Motown had. They gave it to the Supremes and I say okay, but they were NOT my favorites....these were!

GREAT TUNE written by Ashford and Simpson - it was released by Motown on August 27, 1968 and it peaked at number 63 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October of 1968-

@christheone8773 The other day we were thinking of the lesser known songs Ashford and Simpson wrote as well as "Never Had it So Good" and the likes of "Let's Go Get Stoned" by Ray Charles. They were really dynamic and I have thought often of how Valerie is without the wonderful Nick. People have said that he was as nice as he appeared to be. Thanks for your response. : D

Love this song, Wanda, Kathrine and Ann, this is from their LP Sophisticated Soul, "Here I Am Baby" "My Baby Must Be A Magician" and "Im Gonna Hold On Long As I Can" and "Your The One" were the other singles from that album
