  • why the cellist can make those weirdo movements, and she can't moves like a princess?

  • Who cares if she moves around. She's letting the expression of the music come out better.

BTW who are you people to criticize her?

Get to her level first then make your comments.

    :)

    Great Performance!

    god damn! what tonguing!

  • Schade das Weber nicht mehr lebt sonst würde er aus Begeisterung von Frau Meyers Klarinetten Spiel und Sound noch ein Quintett schreiben.

  • I heard this piece as a full string orchestra piece with soloist with the MSO, pretty nice piece.

  • Notice that she keeps the clarinet relatively stationary even as she moves about. That is what matters. You can weave all you want, but the instrument remains steady.

This is a truncated version of this movement. Probably played as an encore.

  • I move around like this ...

Sometimes you just can't help it!

Distracting or not it's how some musicians express themselves.

  • wow she is a super fabulous clarinet player i totally wish i could do that but i wish she wouldnt move so much. it was really distracting and detracted from her appearance and made her look really immature. she is really good at the clarinet tho. totally beast.

  • Ms. Meyer is a great clarinetist, though I admit her flinging herself about is just a tiny bit embarassing.

  • Although just a snippet, this is really fun and Ms. Meyer a consummate clarinetist.

  • This is a genius piece!

  • This was GREAT. just 1 thing i never knew clarinet players moved like that ( i play the clarinet myself) i always knew string players, conductors, and percussionist do that but never a clarinet player!!!!! but still great!

  • she here is wonderfull

  • leister is xorse than her..

  • Its funny that when she plays her hair stays and when the guy that sits next to her, his hair flies everywhere. More funny then entertaining...

  • Meyer vs. Kam...who would win? Both superb technicians.

  • Kam, this lady's G (?)- B is a bit scruffy at times, although I know it is really hard

I think Sharon Kam's tone and interpretation are much better (personally)

  • Good, but Leister is better...

  • I think Meyer has a better tone. Leister is boring, however an incredible player.

  • oh no, it's sabine meyer again

  • Bravo!

  • Excellent recording!

  • Yes, good. I enjoy watching and hearing Ms Meyer. Where did the video come from? It's commercial, I suppose. It is aggravatingly jumpy. WT

  • that cellist... man... he looks like he's spasming... but sabine meyer plays amazingly :D this song is on a recording of her's i own.

  • i agree, that cellist's hair is flyin' all over the place

  • wonderful, I love her dark rich sound, I really like the fact that all the musicians are playing lively in this <3

  • Yeah I love this peice as well...I adore the Fsharp to G trill...and she is just fantastic...one problem though she is just 40 cents sharp..and in her other recording of this she is DEAD smack intune.

  • sabine is the best!!

  • i dont know how she does that trill so clearly... probably the system that she's using...it looks like the oehler. amazing... wow.

  • I don't think it is because she plays on a German System I can get that Trill clear and fluent like she does..I think because she is an Experienced player

  • i LOVE this piece i can listen to it forever. sabine meyer is brilliant

  • Spectacular!!
