Benny was MMA before it had a name. If your new to the ring/cage arts do yourself a favor and consume every bit of info this man has to offer and decide later if it works for you. Be a shame to waste this mans experience.
@DragonZord90 what benny trained in was mostly full contact karate ,at the time kickboxing above the waist. Many books by great martial artists are crap becaus they know nothing about writing or presenting a book. Many modern books are better like the ones by victory belt.
I had never heard of this man before, im not a martial artist. My friend (who is a martial artist) showed me a clip of this guy fighting with Jackie Chan and I was instantly impressed. I couldnt get over his speed, lightning fast! I liked this video, if I ever wanted to learn self defence, I would want this guy to teach me!
200 fights, 0 losses, 6 championships that's Benny's record. No offense to fans of Bruce Lee, Van Damme, Jackie Chan, Steven Segal... none of those guys can claim a record like that, not even close... but those are actors, yet not even real champions like Chuck Norris or even Anderson Silva can claim to be undefeated... well there is Pacquiao, but he wont see 200 fights in boxing...
Benny the Jet is my favorite fighter because when he is in a fight he owns it. He can knock guys out with left or right hand or with a kick. But at the same time I've seen him really throw some guys that were a lot bigger than him. When this guy is in the ring everyone know who's in charge.
Back in High school i had a friend of mine loan me your book on Kickboxing and i learned more than i did in my Karate classes, all thanks to Benny's trainning tips in his book i only wish i had him as my teacher who know's what he's doing in the Martial Arts world.
Not many teach the parry/ right cross. I think he taught that to the legendary Renbukai karate guys that wreaked havoc in his day in the Full Contact circuits, becaue they were freakin outstanding in using the parry right cross. The Ron Marchini's, the CHris Osts of the day? They all loved that Parry Right cross and still use it in their instruction.
hey i remembre this guy from one interview. he talks how hes nose got broken and then he got mad and knocked that guy out! this is the same guy! legend!
he has the same innocent smile a pitbull or a shark.Seriusly.....he is an immortal legend.

I heard he challenged a Gracie but, backed down when they accepted his offer. Royce was going to be chosen.

@rickames That fight would be something to to behold, and personally I think Benny would win because of his speed and overall technique.....
