  • @Shiriko89 Me to!! But.. this isn't a very 4th album, is more an image album for Ar Tonelico 3, in which there is the full version of Harmonics TILIA. Still can't wait for it *A*

  • @MarukoUmineko that makes me really excited!!!! :D this comment just made my day XD

  • kalac32, I think you mixed up the lyrics...I have the booklet here, and I don't see anywhere where your lyrics come in..

This song is about Rhaplanca and a certain "shounen", Rhaplanca was chosen to be sacrificed to an evil god, but the boy resisted (because he loved her). In the end they did defeat the evil god, but at the cost of the lives of the many other villagers who wanted to sacrifice Rhaplanca, and (I think, not too sure on the translation here) of Rhaplanca herself as well

  • @seventy2seconds

That's the translation for the part written in Risshizentsukuyomi (which the only lyric part it has in common with Harmonics FRELIA).

The boy is Maoh, according to the ones that got the booklet from the Gust shop that explained in detail the story of this song, and actually... Rhaplanca did die at the end of the story.

  • Ah ok...I actually did a rough translation myself so I wasn't so sure if Rhaplanca died... :)

  • I would love to hear the whole story of Rhaplanca and Maoh~ Is there a site I can visit that can tell me, or is it in the game themselves...? : o

  • In the A Reyvateil's Wiki there is a translation for all the parts of Rhaplanca's legend that involve the zodal rhaplanca and varda rhaplanca lines.

However, this line, salavec rhaplanca, has an story that's still partly unknown, given no one on this side of the globe has gotten the booklet where it's explained on detail, and the only guide we have for it it's a Japanese blog that tells about it.

  • So there are three legends about Rhaplanca? Zodal, Varda and Salavec? Wow, I better start my research .__. Thanks, btw : )

  • maoh? i've never played the game, but "maoh" means "king" doesnt it?

  • This is a case of "don't make any assumptions if you don't know what you're talking about", especially given how the games and their related song use their own made-up language.

  • i know that. i was simply saying that it was interesting. dont make assumptions that im trying to sound like i know it all, ok? its very rude. i know about hymmnos and Ar tonelico, even though i've never played the game. why dont you try not to make assumptions?

  • this similar with with Harmonic Frelia from AT2!!

  • Can you please upload a download link for the song? Would be much appreciated^^

  • It seems Ar Tonelico's really marked Akiko Shikata's work : D Hymmnos is a very powerful language~ I'm glad it's not only being used for the game's songs, but also for songs by real artists ^__^ It makes me so glad~

  • Nope, her main work has always been in this style, but she just offered to sing remixes of the OPs to both games just because she also liked them a lot (after all, both remixes were composed, arranged, and their lyrics written by the creator of Ar tonelico himself: Akira Tsuchiya).

  • What do you mean by "in this style" ? The style of the music though, yes, it's always been so different and soothing : ) I like her works a lot ^__^

  • I mean that most of her songs have always had a choral, opera-like style. If you listen to some of her earlier works (such as Sacrifice, MARE or Haikyo to Rakuen) you can notice it too.

  • This style of singing and song is beautiful

Her voice works with her music and its gorgeous <333

  • The Master Piece;;;; holy... how does she compose such song;;; i should try my best too;;;

  • ehh... i like this strange japanese style, what hits my heart :D

  • Completely agree, I like why exactly

  • @mg4994 im whit you

  • thank you for uploading this song is a nice song

  • I love the incorperation of Ar Tonelico 2's opening lyrics.

  • I totally love this song T~T

  • u don't have know what it's about.

    Just listen....

  • @GodofChefs I know this comment is one year old, but I can't let this one pass Wee ki ra linen melifan heighte Garlden LELENTAS degle syunaht den diviega gyenel swant der dilete en prasrity skit flip sarrifis Let me tell you a painful tale In the city of Lelentas nothing was spared But the elder wizard protected them with divine power and, in exchange for prosperity, a sacrifice was demanded. You REALLY should know what the lyrics are about. This is one of the greatest.
  • @KarvArth yes this was from a year ago and since then grown with these songs each sounding a great epic or story only in a different language. but please show a link to lyrics so I may know them better

  • what is it about ?

  • A part of the lyrics:

Sacred Light, give me the power to protect myself!

Sacred Light, give me the power to protect myself and this growing life!

It is a great mystery how this light gives power

Let the great light protect our loved ones, let us wish for that!

Let the great fire protect us in this world of mysteries!

I shall tie you to its entrance and then, as we enter, I will detach you from this mysterious world

Let us offer a sacrifice to the light of our beloved Gods!

    This mysterious world

  • Is it really necessary to say this song is amazing ? It's more than that. !

    It's EPIC !!!

  • OMG i thought this was a normal avrage song at the start when it got to 0:50 my eyes opend like this 0.0 or even wider and my heart stoped for a few seconds this is song is amazing

  • Salavec Rhaplanca translates to Legend of Rhaplanca, it's actually a really sad story.

  • Is there a video that has a lyric of this song?

I don't care if there is translation or not.

'cuz I want to read the hymmnos word use for this song only!

Also, if everyone of you heard the voice whisper at 3:16 then you can get to notice the whole song is base on the concept of AT2 story.

  • (O_o)

This is incredible...I wonder if she'll do a remix of the intro to the third Ar Tonelico as well...?

  • I wonder if Rhaplanca in the title is the same with the one in Ar Tonelico 2. Is there any hymnos translator?

  • It's possible, but I seriously doubt it, given that the lyrics don't mention any of the things that themed her myth in Ar tonelico 2 (the seeds, Maoh, the tree of Implanta...)

  • nice arrangement~ :D

  • It's kinda a remix of Expressive Hill.

  • Not Expression Hill.

Is similar to Harmonic Frelia, an opening theme song for Ar Tonelico II.

  • @Shiriko89 with exception of about a third of a song which is basically a copy of Utau Oka.

  • It is amazing. I wonder if it has any relation to Ar Tonelico as the title and some of the words I hear are Hymmnos. Any ideas?

  • I did check this song lyrics and I found out that there are hymmnos laguage inside, probably is related

  • Yes all of this song is in hymmnos language and it's amazing!

  • @Shiriko89 It is related. Rhaplanca is mentioned in hymnos in Ar Tonelico 2 (Particularly Haibanation, Implanta, and all Metafalica songs).

  • @mostbrutalprincess Isn't Rhaplanca part of a very famous legend...? I read a few things about her and the legend of Implanta... I think it's something about Rhaplanca planting a seed with the love of her people in mind, sacrificing herself to plant 'Implanta', which is sort of an analogy to the tower of Ar Tonelico, no? I'm not too sure though .__.

  • Possibly is related, but no one knows for sure, beyond being a remix for the Ar tonelico II Opening theme. And the translated title should be Singing Hills, because of how the kanji for utau is used in Ar tonelico's context.

  • @GFalconDX There's hymmnos in this, yes : ) It borrows parts of the melody from Singing Hill ~ Harmonics FRELIA ~, and it has parts in hymmnos, but it's meaning is very different. Salavec Rhaplanca [Salvation to Rhaplanca or Hail Rhaplanca] sings the story of the reyvateil Rhaplanca, as well as the Legend of Implanta, if I remember right. You should look into it more if you're interested ^^
