  • girls can do it just as good as men.sure the trade is male dominated but anyone with an interest in what their doing can be great at it.

As 4 the dirty brakes, ive done more relines then i can count n never had a problem, our workshop is always full of coal dust n dirt, backing plates get torn off all the time, only problem is when rocks jam between the drum n the lining, but the brakes still work! should b more girls out there,if u do the job properly n take pride in your work whats the difference?!

  • So now they're trying to Con Women into this Shitty Trade.

  • I Like What They've Done To Their Kitchen

  • Omg...... Ur brakes will not fail due to dirty gloves...might make noise if anything. And if she did get em dirty I'm sure she's heard of brake Kleen. Shit, think bout what ur saying before u post.

  • In all honesty I don’t think I will ever have confidence in female mechanics, especially if they are working on my machine. Doing the dishes in one thing and fixing cars is another.

  • I love this video because it once again makes me feel encouraged as I am about to start my training at UTI as a woman :)

  • @my3mommaz3milkshakes No offense but UTI was a waste. I'm going to community college and it's much better, plus cheaper. IMO, not worth it. Most of my UTI friends are are lube techs or entry level techs, they paid 30 grand, I have other friends who paid a few thousand for community college and they got the jobs too. Same education. UTI is all about the money. 35,000 for 1 year and 4 months ?? You can get a bachelors degree at nice 4 year university for around the same price.

  • @aqureshi7 To each his own. I like it and am very happy with what I'm learning..they're def not as thorough at community colleges and the tuition really isn't anymore expensive than places like Heald, or a university. Plus, the program I'm in for auto/diesel is only 75 weeks...vs 4 years.

  • LOL....love this video. Just shows you what NOT to do. Your wearing dirty gloves while installing (37 sec - 47 sec) brand new brake shoes. Hate to see what she does when working on a Benz and gets a comeback because of failed brakes.

  • @Mrblacktop87 good observation
