wow!!!! awesome video!!! where's this been hiding???? Used to see them at the best little airshow in the world....SUSSEX NEW JERSEY.....RIP FRENCH CONNECTION
After having watched them at Oshkosh for many years, I was lucky enough to have taken aerobatics lessons from them in Bunnell, FL. They ran a world class operation!
Very nice aerobatic flight and video! Not surprisingly an experienced capitan in control of the second CAP-10, as it isn't for everyone to get the maneuvers done precisely, specially in a formation flight!
I miss those 2 very much....I worked for them At Mudry Aviation, as Daniels Apprentice.....i was there the day they went down....it was horrifing....but it is good to see them in the sky one more time. John and Bruno would be proud....thanks again for sharing this with me and everyone else that loved the skies as much as they did.
Again, thanks for all the comments. I was one of their early NY students and miss them too. Be sure to click on (more) at the upper right so you can click on my French Connection tribute website.
As a 25 plus year volunteer at Sun 'n Fun in Lakeland, Florida, and working on the flightline as an Air Show Techinal Inspector, I was priviledge to personally know and interact with Montaine and Daniel. Two very gentle souls that could fly beyond belief! I was very saddened when I heard about the crash that took their lives. This is a great video and my thanks to you that I am able to add it to my favorite playlists.
My belated thanks to all who have posted such nice comments. Be sure to check out my tribute website via the link at the bottom of the "About the Video" section above. Robbi
Amazing. I can appreciate how hard formation aerobatics is, and how easy these pilots make it look. I particularly like how there isn't any horrible music to go along with this great video.

My brother flew as a VIP passenger with them at HSV '92. Needless to say, he was beyond impressed.
