I Love All exept one of the changes in the game. One, If you havent noticed, the new control shooting controls, where it was X on the PS2. but now X on the 360(like in Dead Rising) and Square on the PS3. One thing I dont like is the New Inventory, I miss the RE4 one! The Coop Mode looks Awesome not new,but awesome. I hope Mercinaries has Zombies in it
Personally RE4 was more scarier then all of the old school games back on the PSX and PS2. I found it was because they cleaned up graphically and where able to make things stand out more and make it scarier, I also thought the soundtrack was better, more eerie in a sense. RE5 will probably have some scary parts as well but I personally liked the change. Maybe thats just cause it seems more fast-paced and looks like it keeps you going and keeps you alert but thats just me.

outbreak was just 2 of the lame little titles they threw on the PS2 for shits and giggles. i wouldnt even consider them part of the series. and the really good (in my opinion) RE games didn't give you large arsonel. RE0 only had a total of 5 diff guns throughout the whole game. RE1 maybe had like 7 diff guns. 2 and 3 had alot but capcom never remade them to make them better. RE4 had at least 15 guns and this one will too bc its an action game, not a survival horror.
and despite that R.E. 0 is is critically panned among the fans, and it wouldnt matter if R.E.2 and 3 were remade it still stands, I dont know who told you games needed to follow the format of R.E. to qualifie as survival horro but they don't in a majority of other survival games the arsonal is created of eve4ryday items you might encounter with a hand gun beign the last and final resort of a normal everyday protagonist unlike the R.E. games which featue trained weapons professionals
im not saying that survival horror is all about RE, but they were sure as hell alot closer to be survival horror before than they are getting now. and plus in order for a game to be survival HORROR, it has to be scary and it makes it alot less scary when youre walking around with automatic weapons, shotguns, the works strapped on your back. your probably not going to get your opinion across to me dude, im stubburn as fuck. im just trying to establish is the game looks fun but not scary.

True but the ps3 is shitty on so many levels. Online sucks, all the video games suck except for a few. a cool controller, the fact it can play blue ray videos and metal gear solid 4 are really the only things the system has going for it.
PS3 and 360 have a lot of the same games with the exception of a few 360 exclusives that stand out like Gears of War and Halo 3,which wasn't as good as I had expected.The 360 is a good system but don't knock the PS3.The 360 had a year extra to develop.360 also has their own set of shitty games.Since the PS3 bundles have been coming out, 360 actually may be more expensive than PS3 at this point.Plus Blu Ray player,which is great and priced like other players, and playing older PS2 games is great.
Ah yeah i'll admit i don't know everything about the system I also mentioned blue ray on it is great since HD lost to blue ray or blu ray what ever it's called. maybe its just i havn't played any good games on the ps3 uncharted was good but no online resistance was ok to be polite and killzone 2 doesn't look that promising these are just my opinions im sure there is lots of people that love those games its just the fact that i love online and lets face it ps3s online aint that great.
And I should have mentioned its mostly first person shooters im talking about. since FPS games are my favourite and the 360 is better then the ps3 and wii when it comes to them. I mean when i tried that red steel game or what ever the fuck its called on the wii i wanted to slit my wrists. the 360 has great online and all the best fps' available but i got to admit the play station has always had the best franchises.
PS3 online sucks unfortunately, but hopefully they'll fix it sometime soon. 360 does have the best FPS's I'll admit, but I think Playstation in general has better franchises overall. Killswitch 2 looks pretty good, and there are other big games coming out soon. Only time will tell which system pulls ahead of the other. PS2 had the X-box beat in the gaming department; it was only until Halo came out that the X-box even merited mention. But yeah that Red Steel game sucked big time
Yeah when halo came out i think thats the time when other gaming companies actually saw the potential the system had. I mean before halo what was there medal of honor ghost recon ... thats really the only decent games i can think of before halo came out. I really hope they atleast tweak ps3 online. If it turned out to be pretty good or even close to as good as xbl i would get the ps3 free blu ray free online great games to look forward to whats not to like.
The Wii is a bad ass little system and is great if you're with a group of friends but not so much playing alone. That 3-D remote has to be done properly for the games to be fun, which is why games nintendo does are great but when another company tries to do it the game is so frustrating to play, like Madden for example.
Yeah I fucken love super smash bros brawl and RE 4 for the wii was awesome but the wii just isn't ment for fps' even if nintendo made one i dont think it would turn out that great. But the arcade like games on the wii like mario party i can sit there for hours playing it and not get bored.

well lets see, not having a fuckload of ammo, health, guns, etc. and plus im hearing that they are making it coop or something, idk if its just a rumor, but thats definetely a big step away from survival horror standards. one way to look at it is, would you be scared playing this by yourself late at night with the lights off? probably not.

Uh who decided that the game format of the resident evil games is the means in which defines the genre, Im a clocktower fan as well, so if you ask somebody like me whom were to use your logic, resident evil never qualified as a true survival horror game because you were given so much in the way of arsonal to go through the game and that would mean the series hasn't been survival horror scince R.E.2 when the flame thrower was introduced. and news flash coop isnt a rumor its a fact do research

okay, well then its true that theres coop and that's not helping your point. the only ones after RE2 were 3 and CVX. in 3 you pretty much needed the ammo for nemesis or else you were fucked, and CVX, well i personally didn't like that game so im not going to back that one up. but 4 was the same deal as im going to look at this one. it looks fun as hell and ill love it, but just not as a RE game. its just not scary anymore

That's your opinion and it and you would happen to be wrong seeing as how capcom already made two sequals devoted to online co-op long before this one incase you forgot, Outbreak, file 1 and 2.
You can try and trivialize it all you want but anygame that gives you an arsonal asd big as the ones you had in ANY of the resident evil games , using your logic never qualified as survival horro, according to you.

outbreak was just 2 of the lame little titles they threw on the PS2 for shits and giggles. i wouldnt even consider them part of the series. and the really good (in my opinion) RE games didn't give you large arsonel. RE0 only had a total of 5 diff guns throughout the whole game. RE1 maybe had like 7 diff guns. 2 and 3 had alot but capcom never remade them to make them better. RE4 had at least 15 guns and this one will too bc its an action game, not a survival horror.

and despite that R.E. 0 is is critically panned among the fans, and it wouldnt matter if R.E.2 and 3 were remade it still stands, I dont know who told you games needed to follow the format of R.E. to qualifie as survival horro but they don't in a majority of other survival games the arsonal is created of eve4ryday items you might encounter with a hand gun beign the last and final resort of a normal everyday protagonist unlike the R.E. games which featue trained weapons professionals

im not saying that survival horror is all about RE, but they were sure as hell alot closer to be survival horror before than they are getting now. and plus in order for a game to be survival HORROR, it has to be scary and it makes it alot less scary when youre walking around with automatic weapons, shotguns, the works strapped on your back. your probably not going to get your opinion across to me dude, im stubburn as fuck. im just trying to establish is the game looks fun but not scary.

None of you whom are complainign about this game come across as reasonable to me , I mean thats why you have the stance you have on the game, as far as I'm concerened but the fact remeains, the arsonal has been heavy scicne the second sequal , they just didn't have the graphic rendering capabilities to do with that what they did with this game so going by what you say the series has not been survival horror scicne R.E.2 simple.

they aint zombies cos the virus has either A) not mutated far enough or b ) mutated to far. in the mansion the zombies are at the start/end of the mutation, it was a bsic virus, now its a more effective virus, as you can see. its obvious really.

True but the ps3 is shitty on so many levels. Online sucks, all the video games suck except for a few. a cool controller, the fact it can play blue ray videos and metal gear solid 4 are really the only things the system has going for it.

PS3 and 360 have a lot of the same games with the exception of a few 360 exclusives that stand out like Gears of War and Halo 3,which wasn't as good as I had expected.The 360 is a good system but don't knock the PS3.The 360 had a year extra to develop.360 also has their own set of shitty games.Since the PS3 bundles have been coming out, 360 actually may be more expensive than PS3 at this point.Plus Blu Ray player,which is great and priced like other players, and playing older PS2 games is great.

Ah yeah i'll admit i don't know everything about the system I also mentioned blue ray on it is great since HD lost to blue ray or blu ray what ever it's called. maybe its just i havn't played any good games on the ps3 uncharted was good but no online resistance was ok to be polite and killzone 2 doesn't look that promising these are just my opinions im sure there is lots of people that love those games its just the fact that i love online and lets face it ps3s online aint that great.

And I should have mentioned its mostly first person shooters im talking about. since FPS games are my favourite and the 360 is better then the ps3 and wii when it comes to them. I mean when i tried that red steel game or what ever the fuck its called on the wii i wanted to slit my wrists. the 360 has great online and all the best fps' available but i got to admit the play station has always had the best franchises.

PS3 online sucks unfortunately, but hopefully they'll fix it sometime soon. 360 does have the best FPS's I'll admit, but I think Playstation in general has better franchises overall. Killswitch 2 looks pretty good, and there are other big games coming out soon. Only time will tell which system pulls ahead of the other. PS2 had the X-box beat in the gaming department; it was only until Halo came out that the X-box even merited mention. But yeah that Red Steel game sucked big time

Yeah when halo came out i think thats the time when other gaming companies actually saw the potential the system had. I mean before halo what was there medal of honor ghost recon ... thats really the only decent games i can think of before halo came out. I really hope they atleast tweak ps3 online. If it turned out to be pretty good or even close to as good as xbl i would get the ps3 free blu ray free online great games to look forward to whats not to like.

The Wii is a bad ass little system and is great if you're with a group of friends but not so much playing alone. That 3-D remote has to be done properly for the games to be fun, which is why games nintendo does are great but when another company tries to do it the game is so frustrating to play, like Madden for example.
