I really wish Paul was planning on running next term. Hes right when he says Obama will win not as a liberal but as a President. I wish good luck for Rand and i will be voting for him, but its just not the same
To your last statement on the need for a new "coin"... Indeed, it appears both the Democratic and Republican parties should be remanded to history books as a tale of distopian woe. They have long since ruined any semblance of ideals or decency they 'may' have once embodied - now they in turn should be completely abandoned, save for study to prevent another such goliath from vomiting itself upon this beautiful planet.
Those who've been personally affected by decisions made by the Supreme Court (not to mention the rest of the federal court system) know that the difference between the left and right is anything but an illusion. Imagine if Kagan and Sotomayor had instead been more from the Roberts/Allito mold. Terrifying. You're way off base on this, Mr. Lebron, and Paul is as horrible as the rest of the gop field.
The path from production to distribution for assorted media has moved from reliance on vast umbrellas to reliance on near self-power thanks to computers and the Internet. Campaigning for political offices is long overdue for a similar transformation. Another thing that irks me is that the amount of money in the campaign seems far more important then the amount of supporters who'll vote. The voice of the people ought to be far louder than the glitter of the coins.
Sorry Lionel, America has already had two different coins, AND One new Bill in our life time. I'm sure you remember the Susan B. Anthony, The Fifty cent piece, and (This should take you back) The $2 Bill. HA! However, the new and different forms of currency was to difficult for the average American to manage. So, (Like their political beliefs.) they drifted back to what was easiest to understand and manage. Most Americans Know what your saying is true. However, THEY WILL NEVER ADMIT IT!!
Ron Paul is running as a Republican only because that is how the game is rigged and he knows it.He barely gets the time if day now, if he ran under anything else he never would get any time at all! But his record speaks for itself and that is the most important thing to remember!
What? You're not happy with the Incumbent Party & now, truly laughable, the Incumbent President platforming on Reform? It's a syndicated Re-Run, what's not to like?
It's not like the Egyptians fed, clothed & housed everyone...oh wait a minute.
It's not like Gov't's simple management job should be figured out yet...oh wait.
It's not like our history of failure under God, Gov't & Money exists...oh wait.

Lionel, I love your videos. I know it hurts to see Ron Paul take third, but I have to say that Paul is a Republican... the same as the others. Paul should have left that party, but something keeps him there. Now, review his economic plan and tell me that a 35% cut to Medicaid, a 40% cut to SCHIP, a 63% cut to Foodstamps and a WHOPPING 15% cut to military means he is any different, except in illusion. He will give rich folks all sorts of tax cuts, but ZERO tax relief for the 99%
@rainwilds Be denied access to the debates where he can get his message heard, go broke just trying to get on the ballot, and deal with multiple hoops that do nothing other than stifle his ability to be a viable candidate. Seems to me people need to quit being hung up on labels.
@rainwilds I would love for him to run Independent, but he's said many times that he won't. He may not realistically win the Republican nomination, but he's succeeding in what he wanted to do all along, establish a strong Libertarian presence in the Republican Party. Ron Paul knows that it's virtually impossible to run a third party candidacy with the rules and the two parties so entrenched in Washington.
@rainwilds So Ron Paul has done the next best thing, bring more Libertarian-minded people into the party. His supporters are young passionate and I'm happy to be one of them. He's converted so many young conservative/libertarian minded independents in reconsidering their parent's party again.
So the GOP establishment can dismiss Ron Paul and his followers for now. But it won't be too long when we'll have our chance to convert the neocon party back to the party of Ronald Reagan.

@stevenzb1 Your non-specificity is amusing. You know nothing about me, beyond what I shared in my comment. Ergo, your assertion is, well, silly.
