@Wachbirn400 well actually i think german is the hardest european language to learn. even harder than french. even though french looks easy to me cause im french. of course it always seems easy for natives. :p i have been to austria btw, pretty nice country and people. do people from austria have a different accent from german people? do you use other slangs, words, expressions?

yes the austrian sounds very difficult to the germans....

and in austria there are manny different words and sometimes extremely different dialect...

but if you speak the real german without slangs etc... people from german speaking countries could understand you even if their german sounds very different ^^

and sometimes it aint easy to understand austrian, swiss, african(german is one of the most spoken languages on earth!) ...german accents. even some german dialects like bayrisch and platt sounds very different to the "normal" german.

OH MY GOD the german sentence is grammatically wrong. It's not "Ess", but "ISS" (imperative). I hate to hear that from people because a lot of Germans do the same mistake, it's just awful (I live in Germany).
