@freedomfighter213 Yes from the spot metering being on or off, not like manual white balance etc if thats what your meaning, SPOT METER SETTING is what you are after, I usually run it off and prefer it, but spot is needed for certain setups

thank you!!! Would anyone happen to know why when I use the playback screen - the camera gets stuck in playback mode and won't shut off.

A question about live feed(have in HeroHD). What happen when you put the video cable to external monitor?, it show the live camera or only playback mode?

@italovalerio You do have the option to turn live feed on or off, I think your question is a little more broader, you want to know the default behavior for when live feed is off and video cable is pluged in and with it set to on?
