I have no problem with feeding live mice to big fish, like snakeheads and arowanas, as they can easily kill and eat them with very little suffering. But the whole thing with the oscars is pointless because they are clearly not big enough for this kind of prey. Feeder fish are a lot better for this species.

If you have to feed live prey ,feed proper sized items to hungry predators.See that way you dont over feed ,which is good for your pets ,and you dont create a situation where you cause a lot of unneccesary suffering because the predator is unable to quickly kill and consume.
