The combination of bad penalties and poor offensive play allowed the Ravens to get the ball back with only 40 yards between them and the end zone with about 1:00 or so left to play.
the real difference in the game was the Ravens ran 65 offensive plays to the Steelers 50.

I have no problem with Charlie Batch, but he is a back-up for a reason. You would have to think that under most circumstances, Ben Roethlisberger is going to make an impact that will equate to greater than 3 points. For one, the Ravens would probably not have run 65 plays.

Flacco looked damn good. Boldin was muthafreakin fantastic. Mason had his best game so far this year. Polamalu was almost non existant. but that Randle El is fantastic. what a great game. finding this video right after made my day, though.
of course, less pitt penalties+big ben may have swayed the game. but either way, ravens got the W. ha.

We got this game easy, Aaron Smith and Troy Polamalu didn't even play them last year and now that they're back and that weak link Tyrone Carter is gone our defense has no weakness. When our defense is healthy which we are, we're unstoppable.
