My neighbours have 3 of these. They treat the dogs very well but are completely respectless towards other dog owners. They unleash the dogs in bushes where we all walk with our border collies and golden retrievers.

The Staffords have bitten dogs multiple times. One nearly died.

I just bought myself very strong German pepper spray to protect myself against these dogs. If one attacks my dog and he dies, I will stab him to death with a knife. My dog is my child

From what I can tell it seems Am Staffs have more definitive features and are a bit bigger. You can tell they are show dogs. Am Pitbull Terriers are a bit smaller and stockier which works better for dog fighting which is what they were bred for (do not read dog fighting as people eating pitbulls a bred to be friendly towards people) Both breeds make great family pets. I just hate what people are doing with the bully style craze. Those dose look so abnormal. They arnt real pits.

You have got to be kidding. Dogs of this breed live for action and any they can get is embraced. That type of play with a rope is common and I have not seen any health problems assoc.. Get a cause more worthwhile like hamsters or ferrets caged for the pleasure of their owners.
