  • Ask me if I do believe in man caused warming,I´d say, ´I don´t know´ ask me if I believe that man influences global warming to a certain degree, I´d say ´yes´. Why? Well this man has shown himself that Co2 and temperature co-relate, they rise and fall together. We have cars now, and a ton more people than ever before on this earth, all adding up to the amount of Co2 produced. Since Co2 and temperature co-relate it is no big step to say that man influences the temperature on earth.

  • John is correct. Fred Bailey has discovered the underlying nataural mechanism that regulates Sunspot production and Climate Change, there is a connection between them but Sunspots have nothing to do with Climate Change, Google solarchords and you will see for yourself

  • There are still liberals who think the space shuttle is fake and man caused warming is real.

  • If global warming is a scam, John Coleman is 100% retard. every season v r witnessing the effect of global warming, in d form of heavy rains and increase in temperature and melting ice and increase in sea levels. now this MF John comes and says it is a scam. WTF is wrong with him. he shud be mentally abnormal.

  • @kesav1985 "every season v r witnessing the effect of global warming"

    and the sheep says...baaahhhhh

  • Think about this: CO2 isn't the problem the Extra CO2 is the problem. CO2 gets in the air and the gets absorbed by plants it's called the carboncycle

But the extra CO2 that we get in the air by burning oil doesn't take part of the Carbon cycle. It has been taken away from it millions of years ago when it got formed. And now we are releasing in 1 year what has been assimilated to plants/ oil in 400 years. Think about it. The carbon cycle can't handle it.

  • Burn that fuel and don't worry.

  • so there is no amount of co2 we cant handle so blizzards shorter summers do count for something.

  • I wonder if they are taking global temperatures or just in that area. That is why its called Climate Change, some area's get warmer some get colder. But the global average increases.

  • Its difficult to trust this because other people have said the opposite. That we have been warming over the last couple years and have had the hottest summers in the last decade. How can something like reading the temperature be so difficult that people cannot get an accurate reading.

  • The IPPC!!! The IPPC!! The moron said IPPC! What a cartoon! Is he five years old, or senile? IPPC! I wish people would just pick up on the subtle significance of an advocate against AGW; a supposed authority on this issue, booked to speak in front of people about it, getting the initials of The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change wrong. That went below expectation of even this nimrod. Was he in an accident or something? Is he damaged somehow?

  • The 'science' for global warming has proven to be very questionable.

  • The liberal eco-marxists don't care about opposing views. The science is NOT settled...

Manmade warming is a political movement.

  • old farts like this john coleman should die quickly

the world THEY fucked up doesn't need them anymore

  • he is using "statement warfare": your word against mine. he just denies all the conclusions put forward by the scientific comunity. he simply "denies" the facts by saying they are unproven theories, but shows no support for his claims. This is similar to the false debate between Creationism and Evolution.

  • This is a mickey-mouse lecture: he repeats obvious things, like the natural role CO2 plays in the carbon cycle. and he puts it as "prove" that CO2 has no effect in the thermal properties of the atmosphere. this is rethoric, appealing to the emotions of the public through irony, humor, and ridiculization. No graph plots, no data, no scientific references, no journals, no prove, no nothing.

  • the whole strategy Coleman uses proves he is lying. He's trying to smuggle into your mind that CO2 is ABSOLUTELY harmless. that it is natural and therefore beneficial. he shows no data, he just talks endlessly, repeating over and over again that there is some kind of conspiracy. That is called cinicism: acusing others of your crime. Coleman is an irresponsable lier that cashes a big fat check of money from right-wing channels and the multibillionaire US chemical industry.

  • ahhahahaha LOL!!! what a fraud is Coleman. CO2 DOES NOT come out of the ocean when it cools, the contrary, solubility of gases in liquids increases with decrease in temperature, like softdrinks. and this is the kind of 'scientist' that claims global warming to be a scam...

  • AND THANKS FOR GETTING GLOBAL WARMING 101 SHUT DOWN FOR YOUR MULTIPLE ACCOUNT ABUSE, LYING, AND HARASSMENT!!!!!

As I said laurelbush, YOUR account, as well as those other COPY accounts of my name are NEW

MINE is over THREE YEARS old

You have no arguments on global warming so you are relegated to TROLLING

    How SAD

  • @Niightversionn

What a lame global warming denier who is IMPERSONATING ME ALL OVER YOUTUBE WITH YOUR WEEK OLD ACCOUNT

    QUIT LYING

  • 515: You ignorant ass. The Vostok ice cores are from over 800,000 years. You say: "I know the ice cores you are talking about. 100 years isn't enough time for data." You know nothing of the sort and are a typical rank denier versed only in Glenn Beckian stupidity and Swiftboat slogans for the unthinking.

  • Im convinced, liberalism is a mental disorder...a form of narcissism that only he can affect things...we did this, certainly not nature or Certainly not God or other things we puny humans don't understand and may never

  • As usual you global warmest can't debate a man like Mr. Coleman....only demonize him. I suppose when the ice caps on Mars were shrinking at the same time as on Earth you warmest blame that on man made global warming, lol

Fact is climate changes all the time get use to it. How did Earth come out of the last Ice Age 10,000 years ago?? There was no huge man made CO2 output then. fact is no one really knows how climate works....

  • Any stupid drivel to deny the fact man has pumped a huge volume of underground fossil fuel CO2 into the atmosphere and world ice is subsequently melting in response. Sure, I'm going to get my Global Warming opinion from You-Tube deniers who take Coleman seriously and use the imbecilic Glenn Beck rhetoric you see above.

  • Al Gore & Goldman Sachs

Generation Investment Management's founding partners are studded with officials from Goldman Sachs. They include David Blood, former CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM); Mark Ferguson, former co-head of GSAM pan-European research; and Peter Harris, who headed GSAM international operations

(Plus former Secretary of the Treasury (under George W Bush) & a former CEO of Goldman Sachs Hank Paulson has ties also to Gore & GIM

    Pecora Commission now!

  • Al Gore & Corporate friends set to make billions off of the Global Warming Scam

Al Gore is chairman and founder of a private equity firm called Generation Investment Management (GIM). According to Gore, the London-based firm invests money from institutions and wealthy investors in companies that are going green. Generation Investment Management, purchases -- but isnt a provider of -- carbon dioxide offsets

  • The reason he doesn't mention the ice cores showing a direct relationship between CO2 and temperature is because it would expose the childish nature of his arguments. Coleman is full of shit. Stupid people praise him and believe what he says. Smart people understand he's full of shit and also understand Global Warming and its evidence because they are smart. His offering is an insult to anyone's intelligence and juvenile. He's propagandizing the FOX News set for the right-wing.

  • @Exiles800 the main man in the warmest camp is a railway engineer with HUGE INVESTMENTS IN THE CARBON INDUSTRY!!! WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW???!!!!

  • Right, denier tea baggers have it all figured out. It's all a scam and those recorded Global Warming symptoms out there aren't happening.

  • @Exiles800 ya call me a denier tea baggier....is that the best ya can do?? Another liberal with no debate, no game so all ya can do is demonize, name call, smear.

thought liberals were the 1's with all the tolerance, lol

  • Poor victim. Try passing off your shallow denial tactics on someone else. This year's record warm Canadian Arctic winter made your global cooling claims blow-up in your faces. Since then your cheezy rhetoric and Swiftboat tactics have gotten worse. You people are dishonest liars because you don't admit when your claims blow-up on you.

  • @Exiles800 LOL to funny LMAO as of today the Canadian Arctic is still freezing!!! Don't take my word for it see for yourself, lol The only thing blowing up is the Global warming HOAX lol. Hell I drove across Arizona today and there is still snow on the ground in place's, LOL

Seeing you want to use snap shot evidence in typical liberal global warmest fashion, guy or is it gal? I live in Southern Ontario Canada, the last few winters whoa talk about cold!!

  • Thanks for saving me the trouble of showing people you're a crank. The record warm Canadian Arctic winter shot down any claim to a global "cooling period" as deniers claimed. Your answer is proof enough deniers will never speak honestly.

  • @Exiles800 well its not a matter of being a denier, I remember back in the late 70's early 80's a person got whip lash reading the headlines" NO END IN 30 YEAR COOLING TREND" "EARTH IS HEATING" WERE COOLING" LOL

And I love Algore's best supporting actor, the word "IF" Its cool in his new book Cuba doesn't exist, its underwater,Florida barley exist...6000 foot sea level rise would be needed to submerge cube and if it did there'd be no Denver, lol

  • Those same old tired denialist canards aren't working. We are well past that and into man-caused warming.

  • @515hpdd Hmm let see Florida's highest point about 350 feet, Cuba's 6'200 feet but in his book Florida and Denver are still there.....The IPCC says sea level will go up 23" in 100yrs Algore says 20'...In his book all the Arctic Ice is gone but there's snow on the ground in Northern Canada. The Ice in the middle of Greenland is gone where its thickest but its still around the edges, lol photo shopped to the max, lol. Bud i wish you well see ya in 20 more years we'll still be here

  • @Exiles800 I know what Ice cores you referring to....Heads up, Ice cores from the last 100 years are not old enough to supply reliable data

  • And why would anyone in their right mind think that john coleman has anything reliable to say about global warming? Has he EVER completed a study? No. Is he actively involved in climate research? No.

Missouri State University is probably feeling like a bunch of fools for allowing him to speak on the subject.

  • "if you cannot refute a man's arguement, never fear! You can still call him names!"

    Oscar Wilde

  • call him names? what the H are you talking about?

If you don't verify the credibility of your sources you are foolish. Know anything about research? That's basic.

Coleman has an education in journalism. has he EVER completed any studies or is he qualified? No.

    Oscar Meyer

  • I'm sorry that the last post which was a continuation of the thought, is now out of order.

  • One thing is for sure, Coleman has no clue and should stop representing himself as an expert. He's a weatherman babbling away without any scientific bases for his opinions. But as expected the deniers cling to this fool because they just haven't much else.

Read what the experts have been saying for years. There is no credible debate, HUMANS are warming the planet.

    Google...

Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wiki

Read Al Gore's new book... Our Choice

  • hippies of america please give up.

i love earth and its okay if u do, but hindering our way of life and spending money to fix a problem that doesnt exist, when our country is practically bankrupt? does what? wtf wtf wtf

  • VentureCS hes making it sound basic because IT FUCKING IS! Taking a environmental class learning from teachers that believe in something scientifically unproven, and rediculous, means what exactly? GO Grreen go broke! Global warming= billions of money in peoples pocket (NOT OURS!) wtf its simple. Okay hundreds of years ago you could take classes bein taught that the earth was fucking flat and youd die if u went to the edge>?

  • Also, a small amount of nicotine can be smoked quite well. No problem. It's only when you take too much of it that you'll start noticing what a lethal toxin it really is. In other words, it's not the toxic element that matters, it's the amount of it!

  • Say what now?

"CO2 comes out of the oceans when they cool"!?

According to Harvardmagazine there is a higher capacity to hold a gas with a lower temperature than with a higher temperature.

And warm waters at the surface can hold much less CO2 than can cold waters in the deep.

  • Nobody ever talks about this either: Plants not only absorb CO2 (during the day, due to photosynthesis), they also go docile at night and give off CO2.

  • Comment removed

  • @VentureCS listen without your emotions, study the facts, CO2 lags temperature, the ice samples prove it, you will see that global warming is a scam.... i fell for it when I saw Gore's movie, but realized it was propaganda after a year

  • @nextdimensions same thing happened to me. But finally, there are people who can finally take care of this disgusting thing known as Al Gore.

  • @roclaren yes, I'm not saying there aren't changes happening on Earth, just that the scam of gw is bs... I think there are other things that are being covered up, all the planets are acting strange and why are they building things like the massive seed vault in Norway?

  • @nextdimensions maybe you should read more scientific journals and pay less atention to right-wing news channels and coleman himself.

  • @sirdelrio just like the usual shill, labeling things/people, nice channel btw

  • @nextdimensions

Gore's movie is propaganda and does contain factual errors - that's true. However, the vast majority of the scientific community (not just the IPCC) agrees that CO2 is the main force behind the global warming recorded in the last decades and is convinced that this warming trend will continue - and their studies are not sheer propaganda but the product of a solid analysis of the evidence. They do not deny other influences (like solar activities) or potential benefits of CO2...

  • @nextdimensions

PT2: they simply do not believe that the overall benefits do outweigh the threats posed by global warming and the evidence shows that solar activity cannot account for the current trend of global warming. Therefore, it seems reasonable to do something about CO2-emissions which I believe is a good idea anyway given the limited resources of oil, gas and coal and the fact, that much of them are found in some of the least politically stable regions of the world.

  • @dointime85

    Oh for goodness sakes.

Please, do some research, find out how many years of oil reserves we have left.

Then come back here and tell us.

    --I dare you--

  • @AshtonPhoto

pt 1: Well, that is a difficult question and there does not seem to be the kind of consensus among top scientists as there is with global warming. But what is a fact are that: - resources are limitied, - much of the known r. is located either in politically unstable regions (e.g. middle east), others are difficult to access technologically or without risking huge environmental damage (e.g. gulf of mexico), - if we don't manage to increase oil production immensely, what seems...

  • @dointime85

    pt1

    Here's what I learned:

We have between 50 and 250 years of oil depending on who you talk to.

    Hardly limited by anyone's standard.

The old ICE is on the way out. And good riddance I say.

Advances in battery (or capacitor) and hydro/solar/hydrogen/etc technology will accelerate and already have.

Plastics alternatives are the latest 'in' thing. Most notably, bioplastics.

I believe that oil consumption will decrease over time, not skyrocket as some alarmists have predicted.

  • @AshtonPhoto

"Advances in battery (or capacitor) and hydro/solar/hydrogen/etc technology will accelerate and already have." Sure. Why not support the efforts for these advances politically before risking economic shocks and crises due to global warming? Why not give green energy sources the funding and support that for example nuclear energy enjoyed in the past?

  • @AshtonPhoto

pt2: ...unlikely, the oil prices will continue to rise in the long run because of the success and rapid growth of huge economies like china, india, brazil etc - sooner or later world economic growth will be depressed by the oil price if we do not switch technologies, so why not develop and start to employ these technologies now?

  • @dointime85

    p2

Possibly. But you say "economic growth **will be** depressed ". How do you know??

Nobody knows, this is a worst-case scenario.

Why is it always a worst-case scenario??!

China is at the forefront of EV growth. The moment oil prices rise significantly the economics of EVs will be suddenly within the realm of reason. This will likely happen as fast as the growth of the internet.

In less than 10 yrs this could all be moot.

  • @nextdimensions

pt3: "CO2 lags temperature" Yup, historically speaking that's true, here Gore misrepresents the facts, i.e. lies. However, scientists have identified a positive feedback mechanism: An increase in temperature leads to a release of more "natural" CO2 which then leads to increasing temperature. Now, the mechanism works the other way around: Due to the burning of fossil fuels the temperature rises and this in turn releases more greenhouse gases additionally to the ones emitted by man

  • @dointime85

    pt3

This argument has been disputed quite vigorously.

I no longer consider it tenable.

In my view it's the last gasp of a discredited line of reasoning. Having backed away from the bulk of Al Gore's assertions from An Inconvenient Truth they're left with this main one.

However, they do not have the data to prove it, but everyone is on the bandwagon now!! Who wants to be the first to admit they were wrong? Will Mr. Gore give his Nobel prize back???

  • @AshtonPhoto

"Having backed away from the bulk of Al Gore's assertions from An Inconvenient Truth they're left with this main one."

Who is they? Look, Al Gore took science he didn't understand to convince people to do the right thing. That's stupid or deceptive. But he's not the one who has made the research in the field, that's the product of 1000s of expert's independent work and 99% of them agree that current gw is the product of greenhouse gases emitted by man bec. it simply fits the data.

  • @dointime85

We'll have to agree to disagree here and leave it at that.

    Check your YT inbox.

  • @AshtonPhoto

"This argument has been disputed quite vigorously." Of course, but mostly not by experts and mostly not in peer-reviewed journals. Just use google scholar and type in positive feedback and CO2: it's not refuted.

BTW, interesting paper on Gore's movie by an actual climatologist: geotest.tamu.edu/userfiles/222/ait.pdf

And good youtube videos on the scientific debate: youtube.com/user/potholer54#grid/user/A4F0994AFB057BB8

  • Deniersuse sources like john coleman when coleman has only a TV broadcast background and his college major was in journalism. Is he a respected credible expert? Not hardly!

It's because deniers have no credible sources to support their opinions. Although Wiki isn't a source of scientific information they do provide accurate position statements of the respected scientific institutions. Here's a link.

Google: Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wiki

    and

    Google: The Denial Machine Video

  • @nextdimensions

It was Gore's movie that prompted me to look into the facts for myself.

If CO2 does indeed lag temperature (which the data proves unequivocally) then there is no more debate. Man-caused global warming is an invention of left-wing nut cases, nothing more.

    And the solution?? "Carbon tax".

    Soooo predictable.

  • dude, what this guy is saying is correct and you have to accept that. i think it's you who has to take an environmental class.

  • Sorry, what this guy is saying has no bases in science, NONE.

    Google

Hot air: Why don't TV weathermen believe in climate change?

For what the respected institutions have to say about it try the following link.

    Google

Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wiki

  • Many of the scientists who promote the hypothesis of anthropogenic global warming are physicists who focus solely on their computer modeling as described. Even without the troubling problems with the EAU's faulty computer coding, It is impossible to program all of the feedback loops that are present in the environment. A similar situation occurs in the computer driven artificial hearts which must be used short term because the feedback loops of the body alone are too complex.

  • Most of the science is not modeling. It is based on physical evidence.

Yep, feedback loops add complexity and there is no way to include all the variables. This is the way science works, you compile a theory, test it against the real world, adjust it, test again, and so on.

I'm not qualified to judge the accuracy and/or complexity of the models nor do I know about inclusion of feedback mechanisms and how it affects them. Few people are. Certainly not most posting on YouTube.

  • Being a biologist, I certainly am not qualified to analyze the climate data and less about all of the complexities of the climate. I do know that climate science is in its infancy. Direct measurement of global temperature is limited to the past 130 years. To get an accurate idea of just the temperature aspect of the climate, only data from the original stations using only the original measuring devices should be compared over time. Sadly, sampling conditions have not remained constant

  • With indirect temp indicators they've managed to get a pretty good idea for well before the pre-industrial era.

There has been some hype about the location of some current weather stations but that's all it proved to be. When those readings in question were removed it essentially change nothing.

The real core of this is that some just don't want to believe the 30+ years of science AND what current experts are telling us. They prefer the "studyless" vested interest propaganda. Sad.

  • A station which may have started out in the middle of the prairie or in undisturbed forest (which would comprise the most accurate data) may now be in the middle of a mall parking lot, if exsisting at all. If in an urban area, the data are polluted by the tremendous amounts of heat stored by the tar bound macadam which is profuse in that setting

  • (in my part of the country there is approximatley 5 degrees F. difference between urbal and rural areas .)

Data collected from newer stations have no baseline data to which they can be compared. The scientific method dictates that some constant (i.e. the baseline data exists. All of this to say that there really are not enough data to accurately determine how much the mean global temperature has changed in just the last 120 years much less during the total existence of the earth.

  • The rummor that the "urban effect" tilting all the temp data is just more hype. I remember some weatherman running all around the country taking pictures of suspect weather station and their locations. Like Coleman he was just a weatherman and didn't have a clue. But with all the hype the data was re-examined with those indicators taken out. It didn't change anything.

Read what AAAS, AGU, SOCC, NASA, and others have been saying for years.

The core issue is a done deal.

  • On this one I defer to NASA Goddard satelite data.

  • Have you read James Hansen's book?

Storms of My Grandchildren: The Truth About the Coming Climate Catastrophe and Our Last Chance to Save Humanity

That's next. I just finished Gore's new book, Our Choice. It covered a lot of ground and sort of dove tailed Hot, Flat, And Crowded.

Interesting times. I just hope we can overcome our dependence on fossil fuels soon. It would help solve many problems before they become unmanagable.

  • I haven't but I'll see if I can find it. I definitley agree that we need to wean ourselves from fossil fuels if for no other reason than they are a finite resource and we are approaching a time when supplies will decline and I think very rapidly.

  • @iain152c2i

The latest satellite data indicates more ice, not less, and a sun that is more quiet now than it was in the 80's and 90's. The " global warming THEORY is slowly being disproved by actual facts, not computer models or thoeries or predictions that have never come to pass.

  • @ReduceGHGs Well the same NASA you just cited also said very recently that any warming was driven by the SUN, not CO2 and the sun is now as quiet as it's been in many years. Also, they have found that the actual ice coverage on the North Poles has INCREASED 27% since 2007. Not theory or computer models- actual facts that are verifiable and real. That's the only " done deal".

  • You say NASA now says humans are NOT warming the planet? Sorry, I just don't believe you. Send me a link to a NASA site if I'm wrong.

Also, your claim that arctic ice has increased is probably just as bogus. Everything I read says otherwise.

  • Okeydoke, check your inbox in 2 minutes and the links will be there!!! Then we'll see about " deniers". Your theories and models about the future don't allign with what is actually happening now.

  • Its hard for me to respect people when they give such easily refutable facts time after time in an effort to debunk science.

  • Coleman is convinced that cold water outgasses CO2 and warm water absorbs it. 22 seconds into this video and he proclaims such. It doesn't work that way.

Once again, the climate and weather on Mars are totally disconnected from those on Earth. Orbits, tilts and atmospheres impose it.

The Sun has been steady or quietly declining irradiance for the last few years. Mars is heating up? It must be something other than the Sun. GISS has Sun output variance < 0.1% over 30 years.

  • @TRUMPHENT

I too picked up on Coleman's little mistake about ocean temperatures and CO2. He accidentally reversed those. That is no big deal, just a mistake while speaking in front of people.

Now, to Mars: You, like Coleman, are making a little mistake. Mar's ice cap is reforming as Mars has been cooling. Prior to the 2000's its ice cap was melting. ;-)

  • Incorrect! Coleman either doesn't know the science or, he is senile. I suspect a combination of the two.

On Mars, it is a complete and utter failure to bring up Mars when discussing climate on Earth. Plus, there is nowhere near the data about Mars that can compare to the data about Earth's climate. The Sun has been measured for over the past 30 years and its output is known.

I did not claim that Mars is warming. Coleman did. Like the climate on Mars, Coleman is irrelevant.

  • you're a slandering liar, trump.

  • Umm, the climate on Mars really does have no relationship to that of Earth. Orbit, tilt, atmosphere etc make comparisons laughable.

Henry's Law: Gas solubility goes down with increase in temperature. Neither you or Coleman understand this basic principle.

CFCs and HCFCs are going away slowly. They all have radiative forcings many times that of CO2. CO2 is the 270 gigaton gorilla in the atmosphere. Size does matter, in this case, a lot.

I hope you are not a science/math teacher.

  • p=khc (p=pressure) where in your lala land everything seems to be at a constant pressure. Henry's law depends on pressure idiot, I hope you're not a science/math teacher. unfortunately mars and earth have relationships just as any other planet/moon in this solar system has. The sun heats up, we heat up. Atmospheric pressure intensifies, more CO2 in the air. CO2's refraction levels are slightly above air's and no where near the intensity of water vapor.

  • "It comes out of the oceans when they cool and goes into the oceans when they warm."

Coleman cannot ever claim any scientific credential. He cannot have ever observed opening a cold soda on hot day. I hope the "University" didn't pay Coleman for this appearance.

I thought my alma mater, was a backwoods schoolhouse, University of Florida. I now feel highly educated.

This is classic presentation of EPIC FAIL.

  • micro organisms and fish make carbon dioxide, it is soluble in water.. open up a chemistry book.

    you= EPIC FAIL

  • So, you are saying the warmer the water, the more CO2 can dissolve in it? That's what Coleman said in the first few seconds.

Back to reality ranch. The ocean surface is where atmospheric CO2 can be absorbed. It's the ocean surface that is warming due to "Global Warming". That inhibits the amount of CO2 the ocean can take up. That means more CO2 stays longer in the atmosphere. That adds the radiative forcing of that CO2. Houston, we have positive feedback.

  • Henry's Law, it also deals with pressure not just temp. Answer me this if we're causing the polar icecaps to melt, then why is mars' icecaps melting at a faster rate? the real environmental problem is CFCs and we've almost completely gotten rid of them. CO2 is not the real problem is a part of nature. If you really think it is, then do your part for the environment and stop breathing.

  • Congratulations on The Standard's first video of the year. Hopefully many more to come. It's nice to see the tripod-mounted torch has been passed!

  • CO2 does not function in water the same way most molecules do. Most molecules are more soluble in warmer water, but CO2 is less soluble in warm water. This means that by even increasing the temperature a little bit, we are reducing the ability of our oceans to hold CO2. This creates a positive feedback situation with our atmosphere that begins a self-perpetuating cycle.

    (cont'd)

  • "This creates a positive feedback situation with our atmosphere that begins a self-perpetuating cycle"

    Pos feedbacks is an hypothesis.

The idea of positive feedback is an hypothesis that just C02 induced warming has not been shown in any data set ever in the history of the planet.

Its just another hypothesis which is now part of the AGW hypothesis.

It has NO scientific basis at all.

    Pos feebacks DO NOT EXIST!

They are in and of them selfs sicentifically impossible.

  • If pos feedback was indeed posible - we would not be here. The planet would have boiled long ago.

Pos feedbacks CAN NOT exists - it is scientifically impossibe.

    Do your research.

  • He is correct that CO2 is an essential part of our atmosphere, but he knowingly commits a lie by omission here. When human beings introduce additional CO2 into the atmosphere, above and beyond that natural amount, at that point it becomes a pollutant.

Coleman says that the additional CO2 does not change anything. He is simply wrong about this. We know we are warming faster than the known natural cycle. But even a little bit of warming exacerbates the problem.
