Cap choosing to yield might've been one of the smartest decisions he ever made. Batman on the other hand will fatigue. Batman can't even hurt Cap with a normal punch or kick. Cap took punches from Thor, Ironman, even the Hulk. If Batman took any of those hits, his brain would be mush.

truth be told i think if Batman wants to wint i'd have to be a very fast and brutal fight because the longer it goes on the more it plays into Cap's stamina. Prolonged fight = cap's win.

Cap Still has a few advantages in his experience, he's decent at martial arts but not on Batman's level, but then again all it takes is to for Batman to be tagged by him one or two times. fists that hit like sledgehammers do damge, plus cap 616 has gotten the leverage on the hulk and knocked him to the ground (course not when the hulk was ready for it so..)

I didn't have to "blame" the environment because the environment because the environment didn't cause a loss. It was a draw. It's not like Cap could have planned out how he wanted to dress to fight there--the warriors were each "summoned" when it was their turn to fight and put in their costumes. Cap had no idea when he would be "summoned" or where he would be fighting. This would be a good fight. I wouldn't be shocked if they matched up 100 times, if it ended 50-50.

Batman is not peak human perfection. It says in several places he's just extremely phisically fit. U cant become a perfect physical specimen by working out and training. It just aint possible. Cap is what he is because of an experiment so it isn't possible for batman to be as fast, strong, agile etc as cap. So cap would destroy bats at close range. I could see bats comming up with a real good plan. But don't forget cap is a planner too, he lead armies right? No one can call this an easy match.

physical ability is iffy, but the fact that batman has more resources and weapons makes it probably equal, if not batman having the advantage. if batman wanted to, all he'd have to do is give cap a dose of gas. and given the fact that they were in a dark sewer and batman came out of nowhere. he could have easily found a way to disarm/disable cap in that senario and they still had it be a tie. so in a way some leeway was given to cap as well in that comic book.

I didn't have to "blame" the environment because the environment because the environment didn't cause a loss. It was a draw. It's not like Cap could have planned out how he wanted to dress to fight there--the warriors were each "summoned" when it was their turn to fight and put in their costumes. Cap had no idea when he would be "summoned" or where he would be fighting. This would be a good fight. I wouldn't be shocked if they matched up 100 times, if it ended 50-50.

It was a tie. Look at all the other match-ups. The two combatants fought till one was knocked out. Neither Cap nor Bats was KO'ed in their match-up. And Cap is so much more than just your average "soldier". Cap's every bit as much a thinker as Bats. Maybe not in the detective side of then but Cap's gotta be the best strategist in the Marvel Universe. He knows how to use his team to get the utmost out of them.

Actually the fight between batman and captain america was a tie. They did finish the fight, and captain A. is the best hand to hand fighter in marvel universe, he is a super soldier and he has alot of ability batman just does not have.I like them both but Cap. has this one hands down.

Batman is not peak human perfection. It says in several places he's just extremely phisically fit. U cant become a perfect physical specimen by working out and training. It just aint possible. Cap is what he is because of an experiment so it isn't possible for batman to be as fast, strong, agile etc as cap. So cap would destroy bats at close range. I could see bats comming up with a real good plan. But don't forget cap is a planner too, he lead armies right? No one can call this an easy match.

Kinda seems like they were trying to even the playing field for the comic crossover. Cause remember wolverine somehow beat lobo in that same book. And lobo is a superman villain.

physical ability is iffy, but the fact that batman has more resources and weapons makes it probably equal, if not batman having the advantage. if batman wanted to, all he'd have to do is give cap a dose of gas. and given the fact that they were in a dark sewer and batman came out of nowhere. he could have easily found a way to disarm/disable cap in that senario and they still had it be a tie. so in a way some leeway was given to cap as well in that comic book.

lol. This fight was already played out in the limited edition Marvel vs. DC comics back in '97. The two were so evenly matched, they almost collapsed in exhaustion. Eventually, Batman won, but only by technicality.

I have read those comics too and I also remember the rules of the contest. one champion from each universe with similar strength and abilities was chosen to fight each other. Because both opponents were so equally matched the victor would be whoever could first imobolize the other first regardless of how short a time they were incompasitated. Cap has way more stamina and endurance then Bats. if the fight were long and drawn out Cap would definately have the upper hand.
