  • The wheel DID seem to slow down faster than normal though.. When he first spun it I thought it was going to easily go around 2x... instead it barely went around twice. The speed of the slowdown should be constant, but as it neared the end the deceleration pace increased.

  • Did he win the Showcase showdown?

  • class act, that's awesome

  • It's a nice little prize from God for serving as a soldier in the US Military to protect our Freedom. :)

  • Lol I just wanna say hello to my beautiful girlfriend and WTF 10,000?!?!

  • Lyers. the wheel is not rigged. so everytime somebody gets 25,000 it's rigged!

  • Lol rigged wheel

  • That Wheel is rigged.

  • The wheel's got a microcontroller on it. There's a brake one it, and they can stop it at any number. If you see the notices they put up at the end, it states that outcomes of the show may be predetermined. They probably drew lots or flipped a coin in this case, and decided he would win. Then they dramatized it with the wheel spin.

  • @Nomoreidsleft NO IT DOES NOT! QUIT WHINING AND GET A LIFE!

  • Originally aired May 30, 2006.

  • WOW, they totally slowed down the wheel. I knew this show was rigged a lot of the time.

  • I just noticed that,,at 70 it was still going really fast,,then seemed to stop on a moments notice

  • He Played Triple Play in this Episode and Lost at the First Car, But Won $11,000 on the Wheel.

  • THATS COMING OUT OF BOBS CHECK DAMNIT!

  • What the hell is this tosser wearing a military uniform to a game show? Am I missing something.... was it some special they were doing or did this tosser dress up like this out of some sort of misplaced pride.

  • @frankmat Because over here we appreciate the people who volunteer and serve in the military. You are missing something: class.

  • The wheel has way more resistance than usual on this episode.

  • is it me or the big wheel has a break system somewhere ?

  • This might be the stiffest of any wheel clip on Youtube. Time a few and you'll see that on average the final revolution happens in anywhere from 7½-8 seconds. This time it was just 6.3 seconds!

  • Brandon went to Iraq after this!

  • @NathanJames21 Really well said, that's an $11k comment! I wonder how this guy did after the wheel. Hopefully double showcase!

  • The whoop whoop horn cracks me up every time

  • Air Power!!!

  • listen between 19 and 21 seconds there is such a huge slow down at around the 55/95 cent area

  • Bob is such a good lookin fella, young or old!

  • c

    c

  • I like the horns and sounds

  • Great to see someone win $11,000!

Love hearing those Whoops and Clangs!

  • Boy, this wheel got really tight - time to loosen it up with a little bit of WD40!

  • Go air force!! ( tinker Afb, ok)

  • he reminds me of land fill from beer fest

  • hahahaha

  • lol @ him standing at parade rest when he finished spinning the wheel

  • notice that the submarine is diving at 1:08

  • Has anyone noticed that everytime someone wins when they spin the big wheel it happens while they are saying hello to someone else.

  • shine your shoes.

  • WHOOHOO!! GO AIR FORCE!!

  • Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

I love it when one of our brave U.S. military men or women have something good like this happen to them. They put their lives on the line for our freedoms ~~ and I'm happy to see them be rewarded in one way, or another.

    ^_^

  • good way to put it man..i couldnt say it better myslef :]...god bless em all :D

  • @NathanJames21 You deserve an epic win for your comment sir :)

  • @NathanJames21 I've seen this happen to another military person i think.

  • @NathanJames21 ..what after our British soldiers go in first?

  • @NathanJames21 Idiot

  • @NathanJames21 Nancy Grace: Brandon, American traitor.

  • @NathanJames21Nice comment, but he's in the air force.. The chAir Force gets all the money and the nicest accomodations while spending their days FAR from any enemy activity ('cept for the pilots) AS WELL AS having the wimpiest PT requirements... If you can't get a senator to get you out of military duty (like Clinton), the next best option is to join the Air Force..

  • @NathanJames21 put a cock in your mouth

  • Isn´t supossed that if the wheel stops in the 15 on the bonus spin you win $15,000?

  • No... until Season 37 the dollar was 10k and the 5/15 was 5K

  • Possibly.

  • No. If a contestant gets $1.00 in one spin or a combination of two spins, he or she wins $1,000. If a contestant gets a green section (5 or 10) in the bonus spin, it's $5,000 more (total of $6,000), but if a contestant gets the $1.00 space in their bonus spin, it's $10,000 for a total of $11,000. Hope this helps. ;)

    -Matt

  • No.

$1.00 (one spin or combination of two): $1,000 ($5,000 in prime time) and a bonus spin.

5/15 in Bonus Spin: $10,000 ($25,000 in prime time).

$1.00 in Bonus Spin: $25,000 ($50,000 in prime time).

  • holy shit 34th season

  • Why does itlook like some is putting on the brakes towards th end of the spins

  • i live in chesterton! woah that is weird

  • Have you ever considered bitching and moaning about it in youtube comments? I hear that helps.

  • lol.

  • lrl

  • @peterlloydsahler LOL! Sounds like something I would say. It's been a few years and I'm over it now. Sorry if I offended anyone in the Air Force.

  • last week they had the new wheel for the first time... IT seems crazy rigged.

  • I think the wheel's been changed a lot, so the physics change as well

  • Ya but it is very suspicious looking. The rate that the wheel slows down should be a constant pace. But instead the speed that it slows down is increasing as it nears the end. That just doesn't seem to jive with the law of physics.

  • It's not like it just slows down, the needle hits in between each number and that slows it down. It looks fine to me.

  • NO ONE CAN RIG THE ALMIGHTY WHEEL!

  • @hyakrider in all it's magesty

  • The wheel is not rigged, it's just tightened to stop faster.

  • omfg..he is a 1337 h4x0r

  • is that suppose to make sense?

  • Rad.

  • yes the wheel moves backwards before stopping and bob knows its on the 100 before it even stops

  • Bob has seen that wheel enough to know when it's gonna stop

  • Lmao good on that guy :)

  • There is no way, after the infamous "quiz show" incident of the 1950's, that CBS would rig the show. There is too much at stake now legally and financially to do something like that.

  • quiz show incident?

  • For the last fricking time, the Price is Right is NOT rigged.

  • They don't rig the wheel! The wheel did not even look like it suddenly stopped, jeez! to the person who said they heard the beep on the wheel but it didnt go to the next one, the beep happens when the pointer hits a peg.

  • If totally random, the wheel should stop on 100 5% of the time. I will bet that in $10,000 spins that the rate is much higher than 5% and in $1,000,000 spins that rate is much lower than 5%.

  • Him-"...back home in a.."

    Bob- "LOOK TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!"

  • lucky son of a ------ lol.

talks n wins himself 11,000. omg.!

    2spins n a winner.!

  • If they're gonna rig the wheel, then why don't they try harder to make it look less obvious like they do on Wheel of Fortune?

  • I think they should have oiled that wheel. It seemed to stop on that 1.00 pretty darn quickly

  • Yeah...and I also notice that it seems to stop right on the nick before 1.00 alot. Note the Million dollar spin!

  • I wonder if the 6 people that gave you negative feedback on your message saw the million dollar spin. I saw it.. and that wheel sure stopped abruptly! Also, the pointer is not supposed to be a source of friction, it is supposed to be a non-influencing pointer to delineate the section of the wheel. With that in mind, that million dollar prize should have been won. In fact, the pointer was on the million winning section.. it was just the bend that kept the tip from falling over the pin.

  • That wheel DID slow down quite a bit to stay on that dollar to win $10,000

There was another incident that is posted on YouTube with a million dollar spin in which the wheel mysteriously stopped even after the passing beep went off to avoid paying out the million dollar prize. It would be hilarious if one day the wheel actually went backwards! The PIR wheel and Wheel of Fortune wheel behave "strangely" at times.

  • I just watched this clip again for the $10,000 win... it DOES move backwards a bit after stopping on the 100 section! That is not possible without having a brake applied to reflect the force of momentum. In this case, the brake was used to benefit the contestant. Not so in the million dollar spin.

  • Seems like the network wanted more $11,000 winners more like. xD

  • I just watched this clip again due to a reply from someone. That wheel has better brakes than my car does! They let the wheel spin freely with little friction until it slows down enough to control.. and then they slammed on brake hard to make it stop even before hitting the peg in this case. Ironically, I think they use the brake to IMPROVE the odds of winning the $1000 or $10,000, however in the $1,000,000 they use the brake to decrease the odds.

  • hmmm.

must people really need to comment in rhymes?

sprite tastes like lemons and limes

  • I always love people winning $11,000 in the "Showcase Showdown" on "The Price is Right"!

  • Drew Carey had someone win $11,000 on his first week.

  • Drew's 1st televised show was perfect...all pricing games won. Guess that damn "Plinko" wasn't played LOL that game always ruins a perfect show.

  • Good to see a fellow NWI guy win big on TPIR! Great job!

  • I really like game shows, play if I might,

When my best one is "The Price Is Right".

I got on stage, it was no gag,

When I won $16,000 playing "It's In The Bag".

  • "The Price Is Right",

    is a favorite meal,

    I won a car,

    and spun the big wheel.

    I won a bonus spin,

    Yay, oh, gollar!

    jumped up and down

    winning $11,000!

  • Well, with Drew Carey now the host, the Showcase Showdown is now the Showcase Hoedown! Cue music.

Close calls and narrow escapes, but that's another day.

Love to watch The Price Is Right, with them I like to play.

I got on stage to play Plinko in hopes of winning it all.

But all my chips landed in zero, and I cried like Lucille Ball!

  • I Cried like Lucille Ball!!!!

  • cool
