I learned that it means something like "it was exhausting for us" which kind of means "we did a lot/something and we acknowledge it". what's your opinion? btw: in the end I'd agree that it also means "see you".

@TheViewOfCalvin Thank you! I'm not sure whether I can get the complete data of this film. We speak the Hyojungo at school if necessary, but students' conversations are usually spoken in kansai-ben.

Actually, it's nice to see this. Sometimes I wonder if I should go back to Japan, but I'd like to make some movies in the future, and I thought "God, I could never write a script in Japanese, or find actors there, or deal with locations and all the legalese" so that puts a dampen on that. But that wasn't stopping him :P
@zeroteku Haha Well, there are foreign directors like ours in the program. It really is possible to make films in Japan if you can find any chance to do so. I hope I could encourage you^^
