Days will NEVER capture the attention of the audience the way they did with Bo and Hope, John and Marlena, Steve and Kayla, and Jack and Jennifer. The only couple they REALLY have left that everyone both respects and loves is Bo and Hope.

The rest of them were fired and dropped by the unappreciative PTB, who can't write anymore. Bo and Hope are all that remains of the magic. If they get rid of them, they might as well write Days' last show.

after the first belle leave I want to stop watching the show but I continue to watch.. and then jason left... then I stop for good

For the moment Kristian and Peter have accepted huge pay-cuts to stay on - Jason and Kirsten is on General Hospital now - both of them, and Drake and Dee didn't really have a choice. I am praying that another soap will start picking up all the days vets....

Kristian and Peter have both had to take huge pay-cuts and there are rumors that they'll be put on recurring....
