  • @Susq15 Technically a Hornpipe must be in four four time played throughout with dotted crotchets... ie long short long short. so instead of da da da da it's daa d daa d daa d daa. the effect is a lilting skipping energetic sound.

  • Thanks...first time i heard that tune. Lovely...The triplets sound like waterfalling in a brook. I found music for this at McDermotts Handy on the internet also called the sweeps. You play with fluidity and clarity......cheers from tacoma washington usa
