  • hans, sehr beeindruckend ;-)

  • @TheMaxVienna

    Vielen Dank!

  • What a marvellous composer, and much of the harmonic quality comes thru well, even with these limitations, ( i like your realistic irony about pedal/pipes). To find someone courageous enough to put these trancribed versions on YT is remarkable. Bravo!

  • @NOSEhow2LIV

I am very enjoyed by your comment. Sometimes the limitations tend to go away entirely when I remember that my father must have written the transcription shortly before or after WW2 and it was the only way, to hear the music at all.

  • wow, das ist unglaublich. very expressiv..and impressiv!

  • @saxolady

    Danke für diese Meinung

  • Very courageous to perform a piece from this magnificent work (one of the great masterpieces of the last century).

Now I'd like to hear a piano performance of the mighty fugue from the Sixth Seal, and possibly the whole of Frotzler's (not altogether happy) piano-solo arrangement of the Third Symphony.

Franz Schmidt a "late romantic" my eye!

  • @SadShires1 I have still not managed to practice the other fugue, but I will eventually post something by F. Schmidt again. Don't give up the hope:)
