Also, British didn't construct the Mumbai Sea link, Metro, IG Terminal 3 and these are just the tip of the iceberg of Infrastructural development in India. We created all this ourselves. British planned the buildings, but it was the Indian labor that actually built them & indian money paid for them. So those buildings are ours.

In 2010, the so-called British Empire is no more. Now, Commonwealth is just a group of countries which share a part of their history of colonialism. These games are not required, but then again, no games are actually "Required".
But if they have to happen, then why not take it as an opportunity to show the world our culture and prosperity? Thats all we are doing.

This New Channel sucks. The reporters cannot speak clearly. Other Indian channels do a better job.
Showing videos of the stadium from miles away and a big screen. Why would anyone watch these guys when they could have watched the live show on the local channel.
