Transsexuals actually trucked in and stole 'transgender' right out from under the cross-dressers after Prince came up with the original term 'transgenderist'. It never meant 'in transition' before the community mixed everything up from the early 1990's onward, it meant somebody who assumes a feminine gender role without transitioning. So your definition is right and their confused version is wrong.

I feel the same way you do. But if I could have started HRT before puberty, I would have because I identify with my female side more. But because puberty has turned me into a big man I settle for cross-dressing. Besides I think it is better to be on both sides of the blurry line. I have double the amount of things I'm interested in. Male side trucks, women ect. Female side clothes, shoes ect. Best of both worlds.
