I must say, Im not really into Dragonforce that much.. Hell they know how to play their instruments, must give them credit for that - And it sounds really good too! But I find it hard to call Herman Li the best guitar player in the world... By best, do you mean "fastest" ? Cause thats what he does... playing really really fucking fast and a shitload of technique. What I really miss in alot of todays metal music is a well thought solo, like Adrian smith, Dave Murray, Gary Moore - you name it...

A person's quality as a guitarist(/instrumentalist of whatever) is all measured in technique. You can't really argue with the fact that these guys have fantastic technique. Even though I love Dragonforce, I'll willingly admit that their musicality isn't top-notch. But Sam and Herman are great at what they do.
