  • @PinkAdventurelust Spoiled tourists? How insulting. Never been accused of that before! We really enjoyed Paris and we travel a lot. I suggest you watch the next video in the series before making an opinion like that. Or read the other comments who feel completely different to you.

  • I like you vids! I love the roundabout around the Arc d'Triumphe! It's insanity!

  • Thanks very much!:)

  • Well let jump in a moment....65 pounds = as of today's exchange will be $106.94 US Dollars..!!!!!

Shit! must of been a hell of a sandwich...!!!!!!! Padbury's it sounds like to trip to Bankruptcy !

    Aouch ! that hurts !

  • That is why I love the states, always reasonably priced for us tourists! We were shocked how expensive Paris was, more expensive than Rome where we went the week after (videos to follow!)

  • when the hell was 74 Euros 72 pounds? That was a hell of a bad exchange rate was is not? At the moment it would have been about 65 pounds! dear me...lol

thats the financial crisis for you.

  • True enough, I bet they are suffering from the lack of British visitors!:)

  • Wow, let me just pick my jaw back up off the floor... that's a sandwich to remember! You'll be able to tell your children all about it!

  • It is certainly one we won't forget!:)

  • ThePadburys you deserve the best

    Love from your family x

  • Thanks and so do you! xxxxxxx

  • 72 pounds for a meal?

were the utensils made of gold? LOL

At least the victory gate seems impressive enough.

  • LOL! I think I was too tired to complain!:)

  • Treeple deck-aire sandwiches! What happened to frog legs? I like that roundabout! There's lots of room in it and you go wherever you want as long as you don't cut anyone off! Now that's the way it's supposed to be done. Who needs all that confusing paint on the road when all it will do is wear off as soon as you drive on it? :)

I have seen the separate toilet and bath rooms in Montreal of all places. What... No bidet?

  • No bidet! Paris hotel rooms are notoriously small, but the service makes up for it!:)

  • Awesome, wow, there must be a ton of accidents on that road!!!

  • Thanks! I think they are used to it now!:)

  • very cool i will haf too share

  • Thanks Graham, that is kind of you!:)

  • Thanks for the great tour and traveler reviews!!! I'm lookin' forward to part two :) :)

  • Thanks Pete! You will have to wait a week, moving from one laptop to another, I am having an upgrade!:)

  • Yeahhh a married couple :-)) In Paris...what can get better then this :-))))

    Happy time

  • Hi Mary! We had a great time and have a lot more to post! xx

  • Now that Arch is beautiful. I've been there a long time ago. I love your lovies for each other. Paris is one beautiful city just for lovers.See know I heard that French food was delicious

  • Their food is delicious, we just chose the wrong restaurant! Needless to say we never returned! xx

  • Pastries. Pris is known for it's pastries. Did you have any? I'll bet they were lucious.

  • We sampled some at Montmartre on our last day, they were gorgeous!:)

  • omg, don't stay here???? That's funny, OK onto the the rest

  • LOL! Maybe I be sued!:)

  • Luvly lovies!

There's nothing like springtime in Paris...hey, that hotel looks familiar...is it near the train station?

  • Just across the street! There were much better ones in the area, next time we will be more choosy!:)

  • 74 euro's ??? OMGosh ! I made my choice already ! I want to go for a weekend to Paris or London...but London it is !!! Hahahahaha When you ever feel for it to visit Holland; the 'hotelroom' is for free (I have 2 spare beds) and I ask nothing for a lousy sandwich and a pancake ! Hahahaha I think you néver go there again he ?

Love from the much cheaper Netherlands,

    -x- Annet

  • That is a wonderful offer! Don't let our first video put you off Paris though, over the coming episodes you will see that we loved it really! xxx

  • Hi Jolanda! We had a great time there dispite the early hiccups and we had great fun as always! xx

  • Haha, i'm so sorry, even when the room was small the dinner excpencieve you still keep on smilling

It's a bit strange to see all those cars around the Arc de Triomph, it would be great if it was in a park and then no cars

I quess the hotels in Amsterdam would be just like that, haha ok maybe you could was your hands when you used the toillet

Haha, i know i'm dutch we are so, uhhh how do people call us

But Marcel and me probebly would have find us a supermarket and get some snadwiches there

  • We were fed up walking, it was late and it seemed ok, but we never went back! There were some really great places near out hotel and it was great to mix with everyone!:)

  • My word that is expensive.

  • I think they saw us coming!:(

  • That is one expensive sarnie!

  • Tell me about it!:)

  • Dominka is so funny in this video! lol

  • You should see her in real life!:)

  • Boy does that bring back memories. I'll never forget how terrifyingly bad the traffic was during my visit there. Real culture shock. It made me appreciate the comforts we have at home.

  • Nice to hear from you! Yes, they do thing a LOT differently over there!:)

  • first time I've ever gone with other people on their honeymoon. fantastique!

  • LOL! We should have hired a bus!:)

  • That is rather shocking. Well, at least you can say you've seen Paris firsthand. Hope you're next day was better!

  • It all got better from there!:)

  • hotel's in paris are bloody awful, the worst roundabout in europe, damn video has stuck, will be back to continue watching, love and respect scotty and libby:0)

  • Sorry about the vid, I hope it plays better next time! The hotel was not as advertised, but the location was great!:)

  • Thanks buddy!:)

  • Wow awesome cars they have their 3:05 awesome!!!

  • They were cool, I doubt they will ever get made though!:)

  • I enjoyed your wedding and now I'm enjoying your honeymoon.

Glad I didn't have to pay for the meals in Paris!!

    Hugs to you both~Nancy

  • Hi Nancy! It was the most expensive sandwich ever! Hugs back xxx

  • That was very Cool , I have had worse rooms in Texas lol But all that hustle and bustel would drive vme mad . :o)tm*****

  • Thanks! Parisians never get time to enjoy their city, it is all work, commute and work!:)

  • well, the room was very small and u said a 4 star hotel?...well, u r in the heart of paris....it was so cool to see that round-about, it would take me weeks to figure it all all.

  • I was being ironic LOL! I would prefer to drive in Paris than in Rome, as you will find out in a few weeks!:)

  • Wow Anthony! Paris? You guys can renew your marriages vows after you get to Vegas! I be best man. Save money on club sandwich too! Dominika is looking like a million bucks!!!

  • Hi Rex! We would have loved Vegas if only for Dominika not getting a visa!:)

  • Thanks for taking us on your honeymoon.

Isn't Eurostar just the best way to travel ever?

Paris hotel rooms are so ridiculously small.

Last one we stayed in you had to climb over the bed to get into the loo.

    72 squid for a sarnie?

    EEK

  • I complete rip off, 8 euro for a beer too! But all in all, we had a good time!:)

  • Wow!

    Thanks for the GRAND tour!

    Mooz

  • Thanks Carol, we havwe 3 more parts for you over the coming weeks! xx

  • Well the buildings are awesome, but the prices for dinner etc., are over the moon! Glad you had a great time though. Thanks for sharing. hugs, Chris

  • Hi Chris! Paris is great but very expensive, I was surprised!:)

  • You're making me hungry with all this food talk.

  • Ooops! But I will help put you off by £72 pricetag!:)

  • Well, I have heard of the French and their hygien, but to NOT have a wash basin in the toilet is rather weird!!

French don't need lines to follow the road, they just drive and if they can go a day without hitting something, it's a bonus.. :)

£72.. for that?? BLIMEY, indeed.. :)

  • The food was, on average TWICE what it is in London or Rome! But the service was better in Paris than in Rome! As for hygiene, I thought that the french invented the bidet!:)

  • Yes, but you don't exactly wash your hand in that commodity, do you?? And hand hygiene is essential to everything these days.. :) Still, it sure was nice to see Paris, and I guess you have some more to show?? :)

  • 3 more parts! There is some great stuff to edit!:)

  • what happens in paris stays in paris....wait a minute, that can't be right, lol.......LORL, you jsut said shit so casually, lol. anyhow i hope you two have a great time in paris
