Thank you so much for posting this!! I know nothing about the technical side of these things. I have never picked up a violin in my days. But this music makes my spirit soar like nothing else! I will never understand for the life of me why people would rather raise their kids on the trash Disney pumps out and ignore gems like this as if they don't exist. It's a wonder our own planet doesn't implode from the sheer willful ignorance of it all.....My kids, WILL know this music.
@fabulousdestin Yes this is gorgeous she's proof that a pure tone will project over the orchestra without a lot of pounding on the fiddle. As for comment wars yeah, I've been down in the trenches a few times myself lol.

Sorry kiddo, but this is out of tune. Just because Midori is a fine violinist doesn't mean she has some performances less than others. Your language is unnecessary. I hope you grow up soon. This isn't very becoming. Good luck to you.

It IS out of tune. Do you know this piece? She doesn't usually play out of tune, but here she is. I have performed with her several times, and this is NOT her best playing.
