I love the way some of the, uh, mature adults resort to name calling and incivility when commenting on someone they do not agree with. A real intellect would listen to "both" sides and make an educated decision as to what is meaningful to them based on very subjective criteria. Say what you will about Markus, but what is undeniable about this gentleman is that he is a brilliant mind. Oh, and a proud military serving American too.
Rose is complicitous to the neoliberal/neocon economic and war system of the ruling class. look how he defends rove, he is addicted to powerful elites. why do people think he is an independent journalist?
btw, you could argue the same thing about 99% of the right's pundits. to the best of my knowledge, rush limbaugh, mann coulter, bill o'reily, sean hannity, etc. have never been elected to any political office, have never been ceo of any major corporation, etc. yet obviously some people are interested in spending money to hear what they say. it is what it is.
Why does this guy on Charlie Rose? What has he accomplished? A blog? Can I be on Charlie Rose next or do I need to espouse a certain "perspective" similar to Jon Stewart?
@iSAW7 A blog that gets 475,715 views a day. The San Francisco Chronicle, by comparison, has a circulation of 241,330 daily copies, and a percentage of those just get thrown away. Online media is taking over, and bloggers are becoming better known and more influential than broadcast and print media.
@Celestion321 "A blog that gets 475,715 views a day."
475,715 divided by the US's 300 million plus population gives him a whopping .16% readership at best. The San Francisco Chronicle serves a population of around 800,000 giving them a readership of a real 30% of their intended targets according to your numbers. You fail at context and perspective.

@iSAW7 You can be on Charlie Rose if you ever do anything noteworthy.
Markos has served in the U.S. military, put himself through college, and created a highly influential blog and become a millionaire based on his business savvy and the merit of his ideas.
You can always go cry about it on Redstate if you feel like you're not being well received on YouTube.
My God, what a moron! The guy doesn't have one original—let alone coherent—thought in his brain. And let's not even start on that grating, pipsqueak voice of his.

Did this li'l creep serve in Iraq I? I know he likes to talk of himself as an veteran of the Iraq-War I-era, but was he shot at in Iraq? He certainly implies it when he makes his anti-Iraq war arguments.
If he's misleading people, then he should be called out on that, don't you think? He attacked men with far more distinguished service records than his own--i.e. the Fallujah contractors--who had been murdered and whose bodies had been mutilated for trying to protect the transportation of kitchen equipment. Somehow, though, I don't think you give a fuck.
What happened to those Blackwater contractors in Fallujah was a direct result of Blackwaters unchecked behavior in the area. I'm not saying its right or that I support those types of actions but its clear for anybody to see that situations like that are a form of "Blackwater blowback".
In any case, having a distinguished service record should not make you immune from any scrutiny of your actions. Moulitsas has a service record and you are criticizing him based on the merits of his service.
I don't know if he is 'mo, I justsaw a photo of him on Fox News and he looked like his head was bent. I never heard of him, but I am interested to see more pictures of him with a bent head. I have been observing this disfigurement and have come to the conclusion that it is due to bad breeding. This bend may be causing this young man to have an apparent social disorder.
Political spin artist Kos M. putting some Chicago city slicker moves on Chuck R. Infrastructure $ were already alloted to Twin Cities, can't blame Rove for funds misuse.
this markos moulitsas guy is a shmuck

So if he was over in Iraq but not shot at often enough by your standards, then his service wasn't good enough for you?
