  • I encourage you to look up Operation Ajax, look at our support for Saddam Hussein in the Iran- Iraq War. You are misrepresenting what is going on in Iran, because it will help give you a false sense of patriotism when we finally invade Iran like we did Iraq. There is nothing American about what we are doing. It's not even authorized by the Constituion. And even if it did meet the Constituion we are $15,150,000,000,000 in debt. What are we doing policing the world like the Romans did?

  • Americans are not hated.. The American Government is hated. These Protests are done by the CIA to destabalize Iran. Bush had authorized a $400 million CIA covert operation to destabilize Iran.George Bush signed a "nonlethal presidential finding" that puts into motion a CIA plan that reportedly includes a coordinated campaign of propaganda, disinformation and manipulation of Iran's currency and international financial transactions.

  • hit to america b cos us want to be king in the world

  • Well said. The people want nothing but their freedom back.

  • well done man, much respect for having such a open mind! much love from all iranians

  • Persians say NO to Izlam.

  • you dont know what you say, sleepy go smoke your weed ,, you think you are free, try protest in US to get your self free they gonna kill you tooo,,,slave born dumb, wake up

demon, i think is the time to turn off your tv and your fucking tweeter and get you ass free

from satan,,and dont let your self manipulate tru media, you didnt leave in iran go watch on youtube how iraninan woamn walks on street , you are brain washed, same as iranian , brain washed tru media and politicies

  • ...there are too many countries that depend on Iranian energy and also on Middle Eastern energy which is supplied by the Strait of Hormouz, to allow such a thing to happen. Plus, Iranians are extremely nationalistic, intelligent, and brave, and Iran is not some backward, outdated third world hell hole, no matter what Hollywood says via "Not without my daughter" etc..., where America can just occupy in a matter of hours where people would just surrender. But I guess they already know this!

  • ...but Iran is not like Afghanistan or Iraq. Going to war with Iran will spark WWIII because if Iran launches 200 of its Shahab 3 rockets towards Tel Aviv and even one hits, it'll be the end of Israel. But Iran can take a hit or two. However, Russia, sharing a border with Iran, will NEVER allow this to happen. Also, if Iran destroys the Strait of Hormouz, the world will sink in an economic depression which will last for decades!! Japan, China, Russia, Euro Union, etc...will never allow this

  • (continue from last post)...as we have proved that in the Iran/Iraq war. Nothing unites Iranians better than an invasion/war against our homeland. We are all united with respect to the nuclear issue, which US & Israel are using as an excuse for invading our country. But if it wasn't this issue it would've been something else. Bottom line is that whoever controls the Strait of Hormouz will soon control the world & that's why Iran's neighbours to the East & West are now occupied & Iran is next

  • Actually, many Iranians did take part in the protests but NO ONE asked for America's help! Iranians are unhappy with the Islamic Republics domestic policies but almost ALL Iranians support Iran's foreign policies. If there is going to be a regime change in Iran, that's up to the Iranian people and no one else! We don't need anyone interfering in our internal business!!! And even though we have our differences, if we were to be attacked, we WILL all unite and fight against the occupier!!

  • Didn't the Americans overthrow Irans democracy in 1953 and replace it with a dictatorship ai they could have access to oil? Didn't America put sanctions on Iran in the 1980s to force the Iranian people to overthrow the Islamic Republic that they chose to live under? These protest don't represent the majority of the Iranians, it just propaganda used to defame the government so when we decide to invade to get their oil AGAIN we can say we did it for "FREEDOM". Iran is the next Iraq.

  • I also agree. Look at the master pieces of "freedom & democracy" that America and its accomplices have created in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • I agree!

  • @KIIIDO: I think that's perhaps one of the most objective statements I have read in a long time! It takes two to tango!

  • What you say is exactly right..Many Muslim countries are dictatorships where their populations are oppressed under brutal evil regimes. But who keeps these regimes in power and to whose interests are for these regimes to stay in power? One of the bigest abusers of human rights in the Muslim world is Saudi Arabia where the 911 Terrorists came from. But Saudi Arabia is Americas Major Ally in the Middle East! The U.S. loves such dictatorships in the Muslim world because they serve its interests

  • Why are US troops even called Freedom Fighters? Why are they looking for freedom in Afghanistan or in Iraq? See how stupid they are for listening to the government. The whole point of this is to distract us by looking into that instead of looking into what our government is doing to the people.

  • america is controlled by satanic people. & so is the muslim world. & israel.

  • Just responding to the title here...Iranians are NOT showing Americans how to stand up and fight. While that is necessary in America it is THE worst way to handle that situation. If groups started rioting in the streets like Iranians they would be called terrorists and detained and the whole thing would get nowhere.

  • thankx ! in name of iranian people (inside in jail / outside in hoppe) thank you so much ......hamid.

  • TANK YOU

  • im an iranian girl and i live in england. i support the people in iran all the way and what you said is true we want freedom just becasue we r muslims it dosent mean that we r terrorists and that we dont want to be free. the woman in iran want to show their beuty like any other women.

thanx for the video it mean alot

  • the US is controlled by Illuminati so fight to destroy them

  • the US is controlled by Illuminati so fight to destroy them

  • You guys are so ignorant. Listen to what he saying and not how he looks or talks or if he says a name wrong. But I think he is gay?

  • ^^ true,death to arabs

  • could the dude in the vid please stop calling the gov't a dictatorship...its a theocracy thats gone completely corrupted.

  • Khomeini has been dead for 20 years. You must be talking about his successor, Khamenei

  • this military dictatorship in iran needs to come to an end.....educated iranians want to be free!

  • Sadly, there were never "hundreds of thousands" of protesters in the streets. There were tens-of-thousands initially. But, now, we're almost a month after you posted this video, and the protests are all but over.

Weeks before these events, most conservative Americans advocated bombing Iran. And suddenly there are some "good ones"?

Musavi is actually no different from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Look up the history.

This is far more complicated than you realize. No one has a mandate from "god".

  • Very insightful! Keep it up!

  • We see in many places in the world how freedom and liberty are taken away. We see what the people is willing to do in order to take them back. Iran is a perfect example. Will we wait and see our freedoms actually snatched from us before we do anything about it?

    Great video, Reallifepoet.

  • Thank you very much. Peace and God Bless!

  • "For all the people who think America is hated so much around the world ...you need to TURN oN your TV "Ohh now I get it ,in order to start loving America I need to turn on my TV and watch CNN Brainwash crap....thanks that helped ,now I dont hate America anymore -.-...

  • Oh come on now I know you know that what I meant was turn on the TV and see how much the people in Iran want democracy and freedom just like America has. Look to see how many people are begging America for help. Look at the TV be it cnn or fox news or whatever and see that freedom is wanted around the world in these dictatorships. I choose to believe you knew what I meant and thus not lacking common sense. Peace and God Bless.

  • @Reallifepoet23 Show me one Iranian inside Iran, who took part in those protests, "begging America for help". The day America provides direct aid to the protesters would be the same day the Green Movement will meet its end.

  • One more thing the deah to America, they were always paid government employees, the same government employees that are attacking the Iranians on the streets

  • Mousavi has given Ahamdinjad till Sunday for him to agree for another election or else there will be more demonstrations.

  • So many great comments and view points. Thank you everyone for using your voice. What ever side you are on. This is the true freedom of America. I encourage you all to join in my radio show on thursdays at 8pm and let your voice and reason and opposition be heard. My show respects and listens to all view points.

  • death to islamic republic .

    death to dectator .

    death to khomaini .

    death to khamenee .

    death to ahmadinejad.

  • thanks for suppurting iran budy, i can only say we need freedom.

  • Right on I am with you.

  • Hey bud...you can't put everything on "this administration".

  • true W. started the bailout garbage but This Admin has appointed 19 Dictator Czars to run every aspect of life, put us into an 11 trillion deficit (in ten years) outside of Bush, Stimulus has not as of yet done anything cause unemployment is still rising, now nationalize healthcare which would cost an average of 5,000 a year for a household if you had just a 100 million households that would be what like 5 trillion a year? There is no way to do it. Yeah Bush was not squeaky clean. peace!

  • death to all dictators!!!

  • I could try to put it better but can't!

  • Thinkers think and talkers talk. Patriots ACT.

  • That is literally the dumbest thing I have seen all day. Good patriots think, then talk, then act. Impulsive bullshit gets us nowhere.

And people, please quit with the "god given rights" crap. Which god? Which people? Jews? Xtians? Muslims? Hindus? Pagans? Greeks? Scientologists?

Lastly "Death to.." whatever is a weak translation. It is actually "Down with.."

It doesn't mean the same thing to Iranians that it does to Americans. And how the hell can any of us claim to know what "they" want?

  • you have the right to your point of view... but when you talk and think for decades, without acting... what are you?

wrt... "And people, please quit with the "god given rights" crap"... never wrote such a thing, your mixing up something.. I`m not that ppl... i am "they"

sorry for translating it word by word... we says "death to..." and we never claimed to know what the Americans want... maybe another 8 years of bush:-)) or even to invade iran...

  • "And people, please quit with the "god given rights" crap"... never wrote such a thing -

Correct. This was in the video, and generally directed at those who agree with it.

And as far as a direct translation, it does say "death too.." but it doesn't have the same meaning in Persian as it does in English.

Why do I have to spend all of my time educating people on things they should already know?

  • just mind your own business.. we don`t need your education...

  • You just prefer to be wrong, no matter what the facts are, or evidence supports?

Some people are comfortable with lies just so that their own notions are supported. If you're cool with that...that's all you. And it's also quite sad.

  • when your brother in law gets killed, then you wish: Death to Basiji, Death to Khamenie! ... time to talk and think is over ..

so please stop playing hypocrite with me... try to impress someone else with claims about you knowing the truth or having evidence of something...

  • So, tough-guy, what would you really have us do in this case? Bomb Iran? The capital? These "nuclear" sites? How much more blood is ok with you and the likes of you?

Make up your mind. Is this a religious, ideological, or just personal confrontation? Who started what? Any ideas?

    :)

  • i suggest you read exactly what i wrote... i didn`t ask you or anyone else to do something for me (except mind your own business and don`t play hypocrite with me) ... this is personal.

i don`t wanna get your point of view and i don`t care about your point of view at all, so just stop writing to me..

  • Well, you could always act like a grown-up and stop reading my comments. You're obviously undereducated, and don't have the facts for a real debate. It also means you don't have the capacity for genuine disagreement. You just have your tiny little way of thinking, and then spewing out as if it's fact. I can back up ANY comment I make because I research things.

How about you? Care to source something? Oh yeah, you stopped reading. Anyone else care to source some of this crap?

  • you`re obvious the greatest hypocrite here on YT.. write messages as long as you want, but to someone who`s looking for your "education"... i don`t see anything backed up by you here, just bla-bla.. you can bla-bla as long as you want, when they kill someone from your family...

you won this debate, you can be happy now..

  • So again, tough-guy...who is "they"?

    :)

  • HAHA. That truly amuses me, really.

These young students are willing to die.

Shouting "death to the dictator" and "we want freedom" and you're still saying

"...how the hell can any of us claim to know what 'they' want?"

Wow you are one dumb-fuck...I mean...educated person.

FYI- The Persian people and the Persian government are completely different.

  • just so you know. there aren't any persian places anymore. its called iraq and the middle east.

  • Just so you know it's not called Iraq and the middle east.

    Iran.

  • I'm not sure what your point was in even commenting..but I see that a lot in these parts.

"We", being the west, (since some out there are slow) can't even seem to get translations of broadcasts right. Sure 'they' want "freedom", but from what? To what? What exactly does that even mean? Overthrowing the government? Who's gonna do that?

You missed the bigger point to: The U.S. can't do anything about this. Let the locals have a true revolt if they want things to change. Not our business.

  • Comment removed

  • Great post! There is a democracy, albeit a struggling young democracy, next to Iran. Do you suppose that encourages the youth of Iran to seek the same? Thank you, President George W. Bush, for introducing the concept of freedom to this region!

  • Yes I was just thinking that this morning. Iraqis are fighting to be free, the young Iranians have wanted the same and now are trying to stand up to be free just as the Iraqis. It was Bush's policy to squeeze iran..Hence taliban gone in Afganistan and now fermenting a democracy in Iraq.

  • They want to be free but they don't want to be bombed by terrorists like Bush.

  • Bush bombed Iran? Oh you mean Iraq? I am sure those 50 million that are indeed now free are very thankful to be.

  • I agree with everything you say until you get to 5:55 then you lost me completely.

You are grossly mislead and inaccurate on your domestic take.

  • Goverment owned car companies? Goverment owned and run banks? Goverment owned and run Healthcare proposed. Goverment appointed Czars to oversee everything that are not approved or looked at by congress and only report to Obama, I think we are losing individual rights, we have stand and fight!

  • I hear you. And I do write to my Congressman.

  • Way to go Mishu that is what we have to do..let our voices be heard. I hope you can let your voice be heard on my show sometime. We can always use common sense view points along with the opposing view.

  • And how about all those libs that said Iran is a peaceful country and America needs to step off.

Uhmmm, oops you just got you nose rubbed in your own BS.

  • Its nice to see real democracy in the Muslim world not American imposed democracy.

  • IRANIANS NEED TO BE SET FREE. AHMADINEJAD AND THE AYATOLLAHS ARE FUCKING ASSHOLES. THEY WILL FALL JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE DICTATORS AROUND THE WORLD. America is not perfect by any means, and we have alot of dumb rules, but overall we are free. IRAN wants the same. I believe that the middle east will all be free after 20 years.

  • The Majority of Irans youth HATES the dictators. Whats weird is that the media NEVER reports on the fact that Iranians don't hate America and that they wan't democracy. Mousavi and the people of Iran need to keep a steady pace of resistance. If they keep up the resistance, they might be able to pull this off.

  • Great comment! Please check out my radio show if you can on thursdays at 8pm. Your voice needs to be heard.

  • Iranian public LOVE America and Americans, They don't like/trust the government intentions. Only a small group chant death to America (radicals).

Well when I lived there thats what the attitude they had. In private school 3 out of 25ish students chanted "bomb America" when they saw a helicopter. I reminded that I was part American, and... mind is blank what happened next...it was in winter

and the spinning thingy at the playground was frozen. lol I remember that.

  • 6.FYI Americans ALREADY came together and got united to make a decision. Over 100,000,000 people voted and made their decision, clearly, only 9 months ago.

7.You say that, as a Christian, you believe that we get our rights from God. Are non-believers therefore stopped from their right to have rights on the basis of rejecting the first and worst attempt at understanding the universe?

  • Not all despite whether someone believes in God or not they still have the rights given to us. You don't have to believe that they come from God. But we are still all americans no matter what and we have to see when these rights wherever you feel they come from our being taken away and goverment is attempting to control our lives.

  • they tuk rrrrrrrrr jaaaaaabbbbbbbbbbs

  • 5.The Iranian protests are pro-IRAN and pro-DEMOCRACY, not pro-America. That, of course, is not to say that they are anti-America, rather that they have nothing to do with America. There are over 180 countries in the world and I dont hear, for example, Germans saying that these protests are pro-Germany. The arrogance.

  • they took our jobs!

  • their not muslim they live in a muslim country

  • The Persian Empire was actually one of the oldest most advanced democracy on earth even before America was even founded. Then it was taken over by these barbaric ayatollah cockaroaches.

  • Good king zahhak huh?

At least Our culture had more influence to the arabs and vis versa!

Something cool I found out about the similarties of Persia and America is the Eagle on the President Seal.

Cyrus flag, does it look familiar?

Great and dark time for Iran this year.

  • Interesting points. I love America with all my heart, but there are forces at work leading her down a road that is not good.

  • True,

The road of chaos is paved with good intentions.

  • @74u73hjd The Achaemenid empire was an absolute monarchy, not a democracy. Power laid almost solely within the hands of the King of Kings.

  • Basijis are the Gestapo of Iran. Death to Basiji, Death to Khamenie LONG LIVE IRAN and freedom. People dont want NUK they want freedooooom.

  • i dont believe the part about god, but that is my belief. but i whole heartedly agree with you about everything you said. let iran be a warning to the rest of the governments around the world. CHANGE IS COMMING! oh yeah and YES WE CAN! unite to fight global tyranny! please dont have a repeat of 1933 nazi germany! this is our world! take it back!

  • Thanks alot for your comments I respect your opinion and comments!

  • cheers I agree with u mate

  • Thank you!

  • Interesting perspective that you have. "Iranians showing Americans how to fight. "

  • well at least the pro-democracy Iranians! Thank you for your comments!

  • 3.Youre just making wild, unsubstantiated statements. You need to educate yourself before you speak on anything. For example, there is no Republican Guard in Iran they do have a Revolutionary Guard however. In any case, from what I hear, the state-backed Basij militias are primarily responsible for the worst of the violence to date. Another example, your idea that a publicly funded healthcare system would in some way preclude choosing a private healthcare option, for example, is absurd.

  • 1.Who says that Muslims dont want freedom? What people out there are saying this?

2.These protests are about democracy I only wish that you had the same respect for democracy. The current President of the United States of America has a larger democratic mandate, via a free vote of the American people, than any administration in the past 20 years.

  • protesting for democracy, I agree with...an entire army hundreds of thousands of Iranians chanting "death to america" doesn't set well...so where does that leave us???

  • You make a good point. The thing is the they WERE chanting that at first because that is what the Ayatollah Kohemeni was saying. Now the protesters are saying death to the dictator and death to ayatollah. So I think these younger generation of people see that freedom like America has for now is best. Thanks for commenting!

  • Those who chant "Death to America" are the same group of minority Iranians who voted for Ahmadinejad and currently are killing/beat up the protesters.

They're in the minority and don't represent the true voice of Iran. They're the voice of the government.

  • So right on! Thank you for a reasoned voice!

  • I was gonna also say that national healthcare doesn't take your rights away, it gives you (and all americans) one of humanity's most fundamental rights (The right to a healthy life regardless of your income and social class). This is something to be celebrated not opposed. No one will tell you to see so and so doctor but even if they did this is a small price for the guarantee that your fellow Americans are universally covered.

  • National Healthcare comes with a health CZAR this persons job is to make sure you live healthy and right. You lose freedom there and it takes away personal responsibility. Also, free market competition will be wiped out because doctors will have set pay. Also, tons and tons of jobs will be lost from insurance providers now, also the lines and waiting lists (like what is in england) will be so long because of millions at one time hitting the services people will die waiting.

  • In England people are dying while waiting to get treated? I find this hard to believe although I admit that I'm no expert on the issue. I'm sure under an efficient system there would be a priority system in place where those with immediate need of care will receive it first.

I'm planning to become an MD myself and I'd be more than happy working in a nationalized healthcare system with all the aspects you mention. Drs already receive set pay. Their salary doesn't increase with time.

  • No joke. I have talked with people from there. Also, the issue with national single payer system is where are we going to get tons and tons of more doctors to treat people? We already have a shortage of good doctors. This would be a nightmare for us. I hope you achieve your dream of being an M.D. Thanks for commenting

  • For some reason I can't post anymore comments

  • Well thank you for watching!

  • thank you bro , !so lets fight for that day with no any nuclear bomb and no dictator in any country !

  • Right on. Way to take a stand with your comments!

  • Thanks man!!! it means alot to see an american not saying fuck Iran in a time when they are fighting to be free like they once were

  • Right on. Iranians are people too who deserve to be free. Stand strong and fight on!

  • did you just actually say 'iranians are people too'?????

  • 3. As an American citizen who voted for Obama I strongly disagree with your comments on Obama and how you tried to make an analogy between Iran's current events and Obama's administration.

I don't agree with your perception that Obama is taking American rights away. For one thing I disagree that the right to bear weapons should be a human right but that's besides the point. It is now obvious that the unusually high homicide rate in the US is because of this supposed "right".

  • Sup bro, I just watched your video and wanted to give my comments as an Iranian-American.

    1. The Supreme Leader of Iran is "Khamenei" not "Khomeini" (Khomeini was the previous Supreme leader who is now dead, he was the one that lead the first Iranian revolution)

    2. I have to say that I'm impressed that you've so closely followed Iran's recent events. This is rare among Americans based on my own experiences.

    3. see next comment

  • I respect the heck out of your comments. But We have to disagree about Obama taking our rights. I mean taking away the right to choose our own healthcare, taking away corporate rights to create a product that they deem will be good because the administration says it won't be. Taking away the right to freedom of speech with the fairness doctrine which just came back up in the senate, taking away our right to bare arms ( The attorney general can now deny anyone a firearm license) and so on.

  • Thanks for the comments, you say "Taking away our right to healthcare". In fact he's giving you the right to healthcare. The majority of Americans are uninsured and cannot afford any health insurance. Besides the dirt poor homeless who get treated for free, the middle class Americans who can't afford healthcare with their income will be left out. Americans have died in the past due to their inability to purchase medical services. There were examples of this in the movie Sicko.

  • Sorry, I'd rather have liberty than healthcare. Ballots give us democracy. Guns give us liberty.

  • Why not both liberty and healthcare? Think big. This is America!

  • True, but how we want it is pretty stubborn. America tends have the best way or the highway. issues come from that.

I respect his decision, and yours.

To me, free HC is good, but right now not the issue we need to face first. when we have the strength back we can formulate a plan then.

Spreading the focus to thin is pretty risky.

    Peace my brothers!

  • Right on my friend so right on!

  • For all that we do for our country (taxs, keepng the economy moving) it owes us protection in health care; so your future, and well being are not a crap shoot.

Your health should not be someone else's profit.

Single payer is the way to go.

  • uh... did god give corporations rights? were there corporations at the time of adam and eve? I don't doubt that corporations enjoy legal protection, but this seems to be in contradiction with your divinely based location of rights

  • Two seperate issues my friend. God did give man the ability to think and reason and to come up with plans to create corporations and to run them as they choose within the current law, now with freedom rights being taken away from individuals this affects the corporations and also the supreme regulation that Obama has proposed. Think my friend reason. Thanks for your comments!
