I like your quiet and calm take on the song. Your singing style reminds me a lot of the singer from Rilo Kiley. Give them a listen if you haven't already. You can definitely tweak and improve your style, but you have a good starting point.

i think your voice is very good, you have a good tone with a good variation with melody, i think you may be better pre recording the guitar (or get a friend to play it for you,) and then singing over it, to give both the guitar and your voice the full attention needed,, other than that, beautiful.,
