  • @TheParis383 That is called slow mo that os why it looks like drivin' slow and the crash looked strong. The correct spelling of dommy is dummy :)

  • I'M SORRY, I HAVE TO BE HONEST, I HAVE A KIA SEDONA 2004, AND THIS ONE IS 2006. HOLLY SHIT, DID YOU SEE THE DOMMY? IT MOVE COMPLETLY FORWARD, WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE SEATBELT?

EVEN THE SEAT, THE SEAT MOVED COMPLETLY TO THE FRONT. WHAT FOR THEY PUT SEATBELT? IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING.HELL AND THIS IS AT 40 MPH? WHAT A SHIT, WE GOING TO DIE,HEY, DRIVE SLOWER

  • safer than the previous model

  • the 2006-present Kia Carnival is assembled in

    Gwangmyeong, South Korea

    Kaliningrad, Russia

    Bicutan, Parañaque City, Philippines

  • if only this car looked better than the odyssey and drove as great as a prius. if only they had sport minivans with turbo's and hybrids.

  • how fast?

  • @srkrt1 40 m.p.h or 64 k.p.h

  • I said "Please don't think that a 5 star rating makes you invulnerable, it just doesn't"

Please explain how your reply in any way refutes what I said, or for that matter is even the same topic. Plus your 'granted' doesn't make sense. If two cars hit head on, somebody clearly violated traffic laws. Just exactly what are you trying to say?

  • Well, safety is a subjective thing. Last week in Tallahassee, two Kia Sedonas hit head-on on Tram road. All occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts, nevertheless nobody survived the accident. Three fatalities in all. What's even more bizarre than the fact that they were driving the same car is the fact that one car was being driven by a teacher, and the other by one of her students. A real tragedy. Please don't think that a 5 star rating makes you invulnerable, it just doesn't.

  • @hugeshows Depends how [recklessly] the were driving. Granted that you're driving obeying all traffic laws, and an accident occurs, the test proves accurate. If you drive like a douche and go lane dashing, and merge without looking, cutting red lights, chances are you're not going to make it.

  • stilllllllllll the safest cars

  • my dads chevy has 3 row seats

  • 0:03

Omg imagine being in the 3 row of seats!

    Rollercoaster ride!

  • @DanDFriend I would just imagine that im flying in a rocket ship ;)

  • @DanDFriend still better than chevy, dodge pontiac, and all others, a top safety pick getting the highest rating on all 4 tests, imagine being in the 3rd row seat in a chevy uplander :P lol the seat is displaced :P:P

  • SAFE

  • @whattheheck1000 iihs says its the safest minivan sold in america

  • good

  • it saves lives cause no any other MPV crashes in a acident like this 1 look the roof dosent break in half i saw some MPV in crash test vids that did vorse than this

  • woa...so safe

i got in a car accident with the kia sedona about 4 weeks ago, this car

    saved my life!!!!!!!!

  • the tyre blast

  • that car bears a resembelance to the honda oddysess

  • It performed better, though.

  • the kia?

  • If you look closely at the IIHS crash test results, yes, the KIA performed better.

  • well you have to remember the kia sedonna is the strongest minivan in america but not in the world

  • Actually it wasnt, at first the toyota

sienna was, for the longest time, then kia comes in and makes such a safer van!

  • the odyssey is a top safety pick as well

  • yes but the sedona was the first minivan to get 5 stars in all 4 categories.

  • first of all, nhtsa standardized tests are nowhere near as stringent as iihs tests

  • @alexkvaskov check iihsdotorg

  • @alexkvaskov yeah but check iihsdotorg, in details of the crash the Sedona has done better, getting good for all areas while the torso protection in the Odyssey got an acceptable rating, meaning that the Sedona is safer

  • That is correct! I've got 07 and the safety is one if the best. Speaking of being best, acceleration is like a Maxima with 7 seats-takes few seconds with 7 people inside to get from 60 mph to 120- tried it at least 4-5 times. Next time I'll videotape it and place it on you tube! Porshe of the minivans! LOV'N IT!

  • @sweetjew the toyota sienna does 0-60 in 7.2 seconds which is fast for a minivan

  • no, it did not

  • It did. Look up either the Kia Sedona or the Honda Odyssey, and click "Compare". It will show all the other minivans with both of them at top. But if you click on the individual sections (front, side, and rear), you'll see the the Sedona edged out in front by a little.

  • they both got "good" for every single body part for the front offset

  • I should rewrite that sentence. I meant, "you'll see that the Sedona edged in front of the Odyssey by a little." (Not actually referring to the frontal crash test in that sentence.)

  • oh, okay. sorry about that. they're both good minivans - and let's stop arguing. :)

  • but in the side impact, the odyssey has two "acceptables" and the sedona only one. otherwise - all the other side crash test body part ratings for both vans are all rated "good"
