For me, collecting has become too much of an obsession these days - BUT I do it for fun of it & for me..not to appease any particular society or group.

Does a deity exist even?

I had all of that nonsense with vintage car clubs years ago...who had the most authentic gaskets& shiniest big end etc etc !

@DrRobertHowardAllen The most interesting thing for me is the amazing bent plywood that is not only tubular but tapering with a ridge aling for gluing !

Interesting model. Is the crank original? They usually don't stick out that much from the cabinet?

@78rpmblog  It is indeed the original Handle - iv'e just pulled it out of the way whilst i took the motorboard out .

A very nice machine, but I can see why the idea didn't really catch on. At least it's better than real stereo sound.
