@HayteTank thats less then $0.50 cents a day. For something that you play hours a day, that is a small price to pay for the entertainment it brings you. You go to arcade and its $0.50-$1.00 for one game which last what...15 minutes. You spend more on coffee in the morning. Seriously if $13.00 is a lot of money for you over ONE MONTH time...then you need to get a different job =D

especially if it is something 'that you would dedicate your life to'. Its a great game but atm no content

I fucking preordered the limited edition version of this game a month ago for pc... i got it two days ago but my computer decided to fuck up....now i have this game like a week before the standard version is released and i can't do anything with it...

what I don't like about paid MMORPG is that you buy the game and after 5 or 10 years you can't even play it anymore cos they shut the server. What's the point shutting it? Let people decide to play it later or not. God JEZUS

@capcom23 then what do you think about WoW? it is a really old game and still more are playing. the point is not in the 5/10 yr gap but in the 'how people are attracted to this game compared to all the games out/coming out in the market during year XXXX' factor.

@manafusion Well i'm playing WOW actually for free ;-) but besides that to me it's important to being able to play the game even after 10 years for nostalgic feelings, but when a server is down you can't do anything. They should offer at least a free download with standard 30 day trial. That's jus tmy point of view.

@capcom23 yeah i get what you mean. promotion is the key to a good sales. also, since pc came out first, most likely the game is already a P2P (Pay 2 Play) game. waiting for the ps3 one to come out then checking with the shop keeper at my place if it connects through SE accounts or through PSN accounts.

@manafusion i liked ff11 up until there's alot of gil farmer that ruined the game. and stupid people that buy those gil online and didn't have any patience to master the living in ff11. it seems like all the hard work for some people going to waste when the other had easy way out.

@manafusion FF11 is ok on PC, but not on xbox 360 :S. And of course the game is old now.

What I don't like about the MMORPG is that you pay monthly 10 to 15 euro.It's only ok for people who doesn't need to work for living or are ill to stay home. But for casual player like me it's too expensive.

The game lost auto-combat and has moved to a more action based type. instead of click , wait for TP it's now required of you to actually pay attention instead of going to sleep during battle like all of us old XI players did.

I really wait for this... and i really hope FFXIV avoids most of the problems FFXI had. But luckily it seems they figured out to create better character making, more details to choose and you can create really your own character and not like in FFXI where you could meet hundreds of your twins. I hope they keep the arching storylines the individual can play through (with all those amazing cut scenes, like FFXI). I thought that really gave the game something most MMOs couldn't offer.

For a really really obvious reason. The ability to gather information on pc and the use of external applications outside the game makes it the obvious choice for beta testing. On top of that, All ps3s are the same meaning if one works they all will. With the sheer variety of PCs out there, there's simply more sense to testing the pcs
