i had a v6 explorer at one point with a single in single out flowmaster 40 series.. sounded exactly the same.. and costed me 10$ to get off of a friend.. people pay too much for name brands.. hell even knock off flowmasters sound fucking great.. borla should only be in performance cars.. but thats just my opinion don't get all but hurt=]
It's nice to see someone putting a premium exhaust on premium truck.
Hate it when I see people put cheap Magnaflow exhaust on their trucks because they saw a cool commercial. Magnaflow is made in China of cheap steel and will rust and fall apart and doesn't give hardly any performance gains.
Borla, JBA and Flowmaster are much better choices than Magnaflow.
I can't understand why anyone would want to put anything Made in China on their $50k truck anyway.
@ComedyPuff because borla is more of a performance exhaust. this truck sounds great now and it just pulled in higher numbers because of the higher performance exhaust. but dont get me wrong i have magnaflow on my f150 5.4 and sounds great but i didnt gain as much horsepower as a borla exhaust system
i really want Borla for the exhaust on my 6.2L but when I called Borla they said they have a split exit in FRONT of the rear tire coming and they keep pushing out the release date. I would consider this exhaust...what do you think NuTTSaK100?? is it worth it? could you post of video of your taking off or have the camera in the cab while kicking it down on the highway? thanks
@countrymusicfan02 I've got a 2011 Raptor and just put the magnaflow on and I am very happy with it!
