a low jump as low as the first one on the third lap would be faster, cause he uses all of its boost before the finish line, but i guess he didn't want to take the chance since he was gonna get the WR.

It's faster. Compare lap 2 and lap 3.

Lap 3 isn't faster because of that. You know how the moving strips on the curved part of the track just b4 the sirens reverse direction? He takes the outer path on laps 1 and 2, and the inner one on lap 3. The tighter drift is why lap 3 is faster.

well lap 3 isn't just faster because of going off the side of the last ramp... also remember you take the inside track on the moving ground turn (not sure wat to call it lol) instead of the outside like laps 1 and 2
