  • nice hose routing

  • invest in a socket set.

  • @midlandmantas. Your totally correct about twin bladder being better. They are way better. Not essential with drysuit though. I dive twin tens and Ali 7 side mounts and it gets me back so that's y I use a single. Just coz it works. No other reason. I also carry two dsmb's so can use these also for extra buoyancy if needed.

Plus we call our side mount bottles "stages" not ponys as we use them for stage deco and not for extra air in deco diving.

  • @midlandmantas. Yes it will. Tried and tested. I like to know things will work before they go wrong. Prepare to fail or fail to prepare????

  • @johnnyryan22 mate a twin blader is far beter than just a single for tec diving. to say a dry suit is all you need to bring you back from 70m carying twin 12s and a 12l pony pluss all the other kit in a state of panic is not only wrong but stupid.if you are diving deeper than rec limets you are asking for deth its that simple.

  • Use bolt snaps instead of caribiners, safer

    Get din, it's safer

    Get a manifold, it's safer

    Tidy your hoses, it's safer

This wasn't thrown together it's a set that somebody uses. And to those of you who believe that dive gear configuration setup is a personal choice....... It's not. DIR setup is tried and tested and saves lives.

Good enough setup for rec diving but I wouldn't be doing any extended range diving with it.

Nice wing. Just ordered mine yesterday. Got single bladder as I use a dry s

  • @johnnyryan22 single blader is no good for tec diving if your bc blader pops at 60m your drysuit may not bring you back at 70 it just wont you need twin blader. as for this setup its an ok rec wing set up nice work cheers

  • Ever heard about DIR ;)

  • "Ultimate Stroke!" ;-)

  • @shokumotsukan what do you mean lol

  • @shokumotsukan Did you know that there are caves where you not allowed to dive with a manifold but completely independent twins with 2 second stages ?

  • where are you gloves???

i am 18 and have been tech diving for nearly 10 years.

No doubt that a LDS told you the you NEED this set -up, tech diving is a very personal thing that needs to be customised to suit you. From how you put together your rig i can tell your inexperienced, i just hope that you dont do out and kill yourself.

  • @ceriops123 dude thanks for the comment but I never stated that I do any tech diving. You are making a lot of assumptions.

  • @iMikeAngelo if you dont do any tech diving, then why the elaborate setup? BTW how much did that cost you?

  • @ceriops123 I do tech-dive (that's me in the vid.) And that's not the rig I dive with. I have so much gear I just took whatever I could grab for the purpose of my brothers assignment. And the purpose wasn't to teach youtuber's how to dive ...

  • @ceriops123 Dude, are you watching this video thinking I began a descent immediately after?

    Hint: There's no sequel.

I took a bunch of stuff from my pile of gear and helped my brother film a "setup" video for school.

  • You need to talk to other technical divers in order to set up your gear correctly. Use din valves! your hoses are sticking out they can easily catch something especially in a wreck dive. Dont rush into technical diving i have 250 cold water dives done with 70 hours underwater in Irish waters with crap viz and I still feel im not ready for technical diving.

  • Neat setup by the way! :)

  • If your getting mad because the guys isn't diving Double HP 130's then get a life. Not everyone has extremely deep pockets! On another note, there really isn't a right or wrong configuration for diving. Its what your comfortable with.

  • come on guys dont take the piss he is keen & learning.

once he has been stuck in line he will lose the yoke (a clamp) & get a neater hose setup.

obviously a warm weather beginner with 2 head torches because he likes dazzling his buddy.

we all learn with time & essentially there is nothing really bad here.

Nice oms wing..but really need to protect them hoses & attach them to the other bottle to shorten the excess sticking out.

  • @k956upg

    Thanks mate

  • i will buy that oms wing from you.

  • yoke valve?

  • This is DICW (Doing It Completely Wrong)

  • @lionelwoolf This is ND. (Not diving). Read my previous comment. I was helping my brother with a "setup" assignment. I grabbed a bunch of gear and tied it all together. All you clowns saying how wrong this is are following stupid PADI or TDI standards. There is nothing theoretically wrong here. If I took that setup diving I wouldn't die.

  • Hi mraissam1997! At the first time dbl must be with an isolator valve and not separate, then wings it's not really necessary with 2 inflators neather with bungies cord around!

  • @alerod21 I rest my case. You don't know anything about diving. You took some PADI/TDI course and you think it's standard for doubles to have an isolator valve. The only difference between your isolator and my lack of one in this video is you don't have to switch regulators during a dive. I do.

Also, I'm alive and still diving.

  • LOL look at all the hoses on his right side. Awesome. Your a goof! Funny video. Dont do anything deeper than a swimming pool though.

  • @Skuzz128 Yeah you are so awesome. Give it to him. He deserves it. Everybody who doesnt rig his kit like you should be punished. Good thing you are the only diver who can go deep. Then you wont have to meet jerks like him. Man you are the best..

and exactly that mindset will get you killed one day.

  • my friend!! all wrong!

  • @alerod21

i know thats why it didnt go underwater :)

  • @alerod21 why ? im an expert diver i find no problems in his set up at all !!! can you tell us what's wrong ?

  • 2 tanks = epic time under water

  • worst thing I have ever seen

  • @Ibervilletommygeo u mad?

  • Very illogical and sloppy set-up.

  • @rongoodman21 You're all a bunch of losers. There is literally no diving being done in this clip. My brother asked me to help him create a "setup" video for school, so I grabbed random gear and just screwed it all together for the purpose of his assignment, not for the purpose of a dive.

A lot of you wannabe dive guru's are trying to sound so adroit, yet you've clicked a video with the title "scuba set-up."

In reality, I guarantee I'm younger and more experienced than anyone here.

  • hope you still alive, if thats the case take a course

  • Nice video, helped me

  • Doing a nut up with a pair of pliers f**k me, even a five year old wouldn't do that

  • Are you demonstrating how NOT to set up your scuba? In that case good video...

  • @alsh2010 demonstrate it for me

  • @iMikeAngelo Take a course!

  • @alsh2010 u mad?

  • my friend!! all wrong! sorry

  • Стою на асфальте я в лыжи обутый, то ли лыжи не едут то ли я...

  • mamma miaa che scandaloooo buuuuuu :-((( ti insegno io ad assemblare un bibo come si deve!

  • tech diving with yolk valves? double LP steels with a wetsuit? you're crazy, man!

  • @booyacheesewhiz

    thanks!

  • che oscenita' :-((

  • nice set up

  • Isn't dry diving dangerous? I heard you can get back ache if you do it for too long!

  • Need a longer 2nd stage hose -- the reg is pulling to the side.

You must have insane jaw fatigue after a dive.

  • Seems to fit you well. What do you dive with?

  • i dont actually have my own gear but im planning on buying an oms soon.

  • Heh, cool vid. Does that wing have an LPI on each side?

  • thnks. ya it does have it on each side. unfortunatly thats my brothers gear. I need to get it.
