there is one majordrawback to flying and that is you cannot see very much detail from high altitude. flying makes the world seem smaller but the you are not actually seeing everything from up there. it's still good but its a method of transportation that limits youre views

Have a go in a microlight, paraglider or small piston single and see another world of flight :-D

@adamcolvin When I watched this, I took the beginning like traveling via car or on roads or anything other than plane was dangerous, and then you bring in the awesome planes and pictures and music, and it shows that traveling by air is much safer, and cooler! Nice Vid!

Sure the Modern aviation needs skills but there is nothing to compare with the Old Planes u where on ur own in. Just a Stick in just hand and no computers to help u with anything. WW2 planes and the eras before that where the real planes.

@Mariussixtysix Indeed, modern day aircraft are easier and safer to fly. But the military aircraft and large commercial aircraft aint a walk in the park.

By the way there were no "era's" before WW2 in terms of powered aviation.

It is an Antonov AN-225. There are only 2 specimens and only one of these it's still flying. (The other one it "stowed" in hangar).

The acft you're talking about is an Antonov 225 Mriya (what means "Dream", in ucranian). It was never produced commercially, but only three (perhaps four, I don't remember) prototypes. BTW, the biggest commercial freighter today is the An-124 Ruslan.
