  • good job my daughter found this tutorial for me and are doin it as we spk. wish it luck

  • I like it. You did a awesome job!

  • Good job. I'm going to try this on my sister head. Thanks

  • I think you did fairly good for your 1st im just not crazy bout the closure but overall its straight.

  • I didn't care for it... But keep trying.

  • exactly. I am a professional and it looks great and Im sitting here learning from you!!!!!. Do your thang girl.....lol let the haters hate

  • That was very good for your first time I wish I had the skills !!!

  • good idea. and good effort. the only problem with that is the flexibility in styling. because there is no hair left out the only way she can style it is down or swept back. this may work better if you leave a little hair out around the edge. of course the part is slightly wide. if you sew the tracks closer that could work. also after you make your closure flip a tiny piece over the center point. other than that very nice stitch work and braid pattern as well. u may want to get licensed! good job

  • Looks really good. Even professional

  • cute

  • I don't think the problem was the Part! Her part actually was not that wide. I think it was more so the hair. The hair(weave) doesn't look like human hair. It looks like it was thin and glossy. Was it reused hair, or synthetic? Did you split the tracks? If so, don't do that. It kind of looks like you did. It was something off about the hair you used. Overall, not that bad for your first time. The closer could have been better.

  • @spongebobnopantzz I welcome constructive criticism. You must have missed the comment that I left a few months ago...It's the ignorant comments that irk my nerves. And I don't recall asking anyone what could have been done differently, I was pointing out MY errors. Anyway, everyone interprets comments in their own way. You have the right to think Frank was being cordial, just like I have the right to feel he was being ignorant. thanks :)

  • Cute, but the part is wide! Understand its your first time though

  • Great job young lady!

  • good job with the hair. i am impressed at the outcome. However I do wonder why u had so many loose ends? Dont you think you could have got the same result if you had just braided your hair back in corn rows then sewn the loose ends at the bottom before applying the weave?

  • Good job

  • Make additional income with your videos online. Go to a call to women ministries inc for more details.

  • Wp it look fab hun! One? The middle how is it done. The closure part.

  • Good job!!

  • Great job on your first try! Came out cute : )

  • thats pretty i love it

  • @yuliana211247, we're not black we're brown women/girls first off, than to say we go through alot to get nice hair, no we don't. We already have nice hair to begin with because we can do more things with our hair than others, meaning it's more manageble.

  • really nice for a first try, don't pay attention to the rude coments, not everyone can do that the way you did! even some professional!

  • THIS IS UGLY!!

  • where are u located i lke your work...

  • nice...

  • wow black girls go through a lot to get nice hair.. looks nice but ugh just to think about it .. must suck.

  • @yuliana211247 BlackGirlLongHair(dot)com

they're NATURAL black women, too. doesn't suck one bit, madame. no more or less than any other race.

  • @EbonyEthereal @EbonyEthereal ..I meant to say the process of putting the hair in not the race. That must take hours but the outcome is nice.

  • didnt read too many comments but for a first try, you did good. the comment about the parts between the braids was just unnecessary.

  • Great job! Thank you for sharing! Extra kudos to you for critiquing your own "flaws" so that you can grow on your next attempt! Love it!

  • Very good

  • That's ugly

  • PLOL??

  • you did a good job! :)

  • Just curious, why is the parting so wide? I don't mean to be offensive, but it kind of looks like a bald spot/receding hair line/

  • @frankieinnatendu hey you must have missed when I said it was my first try...and the part when I said I am NOT a pro...but the part wasn't as wide as you're saying..your comment is a tad bit exaggerated...BUT this is a public video, so I guess it's expected.

  • @weavepassion You did a excellent job! I will be trying your braid technique the next time I get my sew-in. Its a lot simpler.

  • @weavepassion i see at the end of the vid you ask peoples opinion as to what you could have done differently... I dont think frankieinnatendu was being offensive, regarding the fact that it really had a BIG gap in the parting. Doesnt mean its not a good job for a "first try". You should accept those questions and constructive criticism better if you really recognize you need improvement.

  • @frankieinnatendu a lot ppl just glue the invisible part because of the sew in tech make it hard to get close to make it look natural

  • very nice work for doing it with no glue...

  • I LIKE

  • you did good work girl

  • Check out my other vid - Invisible part sew in, no glue part II

Oh and follow me on twitter @itsaminasugar

  • you did a very good job but you could have used a closed piece.

    .

  • how long did it take for you to do that ?

  • Just out of curiousty does it mattr which way you braid the hair.. I never had a sew in always curious about them and do the hair irritate you with all those braids under there swed in along with that weave on top of it.

  • I think you did a great job. I'd like to see more visual on your sew-in closure. Overall, nice work! :)

  • baby, get your license. you have a talent & you can make a good living for what you do in your "down time". :-) very good job!

  • Girl you are so good.. did you do the braids your self or someone did them for you ?

  • for someone whos not a pro, you did a very good job, keep at it and youll be perfect

  • gurl if I was wit you there would be no need for braiding.... I can shoot a load of hair glue so thick it can do three nappy heads! Just lettin you know..

  • very nice but i have no idea how you can wear it with braids, i braided my hair one time and omgosh my head got soooo itchy and scratching around the the braids were difficult. It drove me crazy! But its still beautiful

  • How did yu do your middle ma?

  • I thought you did really good

  • U did a real good job

  • that was good..

  • I saw this before but the girl had a huge part and I was like wtf is that sewn into your hair. lol

  • for not being a profesional u did a really good job

  • Looks too unnatural and obviously a weave. Isn't the purpose of weave for it to BLEND IN and look UNNOTICEABLE? This is why people should take cosmotology classes.

  • I wonder if it could have looked more natural, if the part was in the middle instead of on the side...

  • it was a good job! it wasnt great but it wasnt bad either

  • good job :), but yea that part was too big. and the top could have blended in better.

  • The foundation (your braids) was the best part. You already mentioned sewing closer to the part and fixing the closure. However, you don't have to have a weave cap for a better closure. I think that weave caps make your scalp sweat more and creates odors. Also not good for washing....but this is for long term weaves so I'm not sure if that info helps you. I'm not a pro either =) Keep going!

  • it looks about 10 times better than my first attempt...i tried doing it last night :(

  • it straight but u can still see the braided hair n da invisable part

  • keep on putting that shit in waves and your hair will fall out

  • if u would have braided the hair going back u would have had better results it looks nice thoe

  • o wow yur hair looks so good.....

  • I liked it. You get a E for effort. Good job. Alot of work went into this

  • wow. great job! i wonder how long that whole process took...?

  • Nice i like it :)

  • its okay could have did better you can see some of the braid in the invisible part .

  • @bethtiing NO, ACTUALLY IM MEXICAN....BUT WHAT DOES IT MATTER? ALL I SAID WAS WHY DONT U JUST GROW UR HAIR OUT....INSTEAD OF DOING ALLLL THAT......

  • @TheLucieg24 Pay no mind to the "white" comment... Small minds. I used to wonder why people put weave and such in their heads but after I went natural and could do so much more with my hair I realized its about more than trying to have something you may never have or "conforming to Western beauty standards" but its a celebration of the diversity of black hair!!! Plus if you're natural using weave, esp the sew-in, is a good resting/protective style.

  • I'm really impressed. If I hadn't watched your video, I would never have believed that you did this yourself. Great job!!

  • Great video.

  • Question, how do u wash ur hair? Just curious, can u wash it three times a week. How about if u are a physical person can u work out with this on? Some one please answer I'm very curious.

  • I think you did an EXCELLENT job! =) Keep up the good work! Wow! I WISH I had that kind of skill! I live in Pennsylvania and 98% of the weaves I see around here are TERRIBLE! I HAD to come to YouTube to see what good hair is supposed to look like! Thank you very much for posting this video tutorial! :)

  • i watched this a million times and i love the way u did this

  • i think that your braiding technique is good but I think that the next time you should use a net and sew the hair down on the intire braid to have more coverage other than that I love your braids and Im going to try that braiding technique my self...I'll keep you updated on how it turns out

  • For someone that is not a professional and only does this as a hobby, you are darn good!

You might as well move forward, get a cosmetology license and make yourself some money!

  • cute

  • why not instead of braiding and taking all that time and hurt. im sure those braid hurt they look too tight....why dont u just let ur hair grow out and straighten it???>_<

  • @TheLucieg24 Somebody is most likely white...

  • You did an awesome job honey!!! Very good for your first time, or any time!!! The ppl that comment negatively, if they can't offer a better way, take no heed to it. It's always a different way to do anything, even their way. If we knew it all, none of us would be on here!!! That looks good!! Keep doing your thing!!!

  • are you in Fort Belvoir VA??? Is Little Miss wearing a Dolphin t-shirt. I just moved from there last month. where were you hiding lady??? great job. i love the braids too!!!

  • Good Job Baby girl! All the best to you. I look forward to you doing more How to Videos. Blessings!

  • i like it esp with it being your first time. other than the braidsz showin u did great!!!

  • I like how you did it, you are really good although it had a lil minor touching up to b added, you are REALLY good girl.

  • @sdnelson1, I didn't think my braids were crazy..your way is just another way of braiding..everybody has their own unique way of braiding..but that doesn't make it crazy.

  • I so agree... There is so many ways to do a sew in braid pattern!

  • @weavepassion Well said!

  • Thanks to everyone who gave constructive criticism or positive feedback...

  • instead of braiding your hair crazy like tht you coulda jst braided goin around ...kinda like a beehive

  • U should use a weave net..... it makes it last longer and its less stress on the hair

  • I like that you take in pride in your work and don't mind other folks positive critiqueing. For a non-professional, you're way ahead of the game. You have licensed folks that will tear up a head on a blink and then charge a hundred or more for some jacked-up mess. Keep doing what you do. Who's knows we may see you out there yet!

  • you did a good job.

  • How do u do the closure tho?And even tho u arent a pro u did a wonderful job!

  • I agree @yellamami2003 otherwise I think you did pretty good

  • Cute

  • in the back if you don't put the tracks too close together 2 packs of hair is enough. I usually tell clients that longer than 14" you need three packs. Or you could always split the tracks with a razor.

  • for your braid pattern it is easier to do your top braids and make them all connect making a "s" pattern in the back of the head.... That is gonna be hell getting all that thread out of her hair.

  • not bad for your 1st attempt..I'm quite sure you're doing great as of now..great braid pattern, & I LOVE the music!

  • beautiful job. practice makes perfect, there is money to be maddde lol

  • THX I NEEDED HELP U DID A WONDERFUL JOB

  • it was worth a try, u have some self proclaimed professionals up here that still cant get it right even though it was just a try it came out ok. keep trying and keep up the good work.

  • You braid well

  • very nice

  • that was not the best closure

  • IT WASNT THE BEST SEW IN BUT IT DEFINATLY NEED MORE WORK SPECIALLY YOUR CLOSURE.! KEEP PRACTICING..HARD!

  • this was great for a first attempt keep it up girl ... i do hair as my down time also

  • ****CHECK OUT MY HAIR CHANNEL****

    ****REVIEWS, TUTORIALS,CONTESTS****

    <3333 Jenne!

  • I really like this!!!

  • I'm loving this!!! I want my hair done similar, but everyone only seems to do the invisible part with glue and I think it looks better sewn in!

  • it was a good job but maybe next time you should try to make a circle closure then sew it down so you wouldn't be able to see any tracks but nice work!!!

  • excellent job!!!

  • I Really Liked How You Braided The Hair REALLY Cute ,!

  • Nice work... I seen this done at Matu's Hair Braiding East Orange, NJ

  • THANKS FOR ACKNOWLEDGING UR NOT A PRO, THERE R SOME OUT THERE THAT R NOT PROS BUT THINK THEY R, ON THE OTHER HAND FOR UR FIRST I'LL GIVE U A "C" FOR EFFORT. CONTIUE WORKIN ON IT TIL U MASTER IT THAT'S WHAT A PRO DOES :)

  • THANKS FOR ACKNOWLEDGING UR NOT A PRO, THERE R SOME OUT THERE THAT R NOT PROS BUT THINK THEY R, ON THE OTHER HAND FOR UR FIRST I'LL GIVE U A "C" FOR EFFORT. CONTINUING WORKIN ON IT TIL U MASTER IT THAT'S WHAT A PRO DOES :)

  • @66pinkcat thank you for the constructive criticism...I'm learning and getting better with every attempt...

  • @66pinkcat I think she did an amazing job you don't have to have the title "PROFESSIONAL" to do work that is outstanding well done @weavepassion stay encouraged and be blessed and continue to practice mot who gave you negative comments couldn't even do a glue in be blessed sister

  • @66pinkcat i think your comment was RUDE and she deserves better then a C. Maybe your just jealous because this NON-PRO does it BETTER THEN YOU!!!

  • **can't

  • Nice...but your closure could be tighter so you can see the tracks. With straight back cornrolls when the hair starts to grow your weave will grow backwards also. Try sewing it on a net!

  • @Keshboop...I did a regular sew in closure..the same way you would close a full sew in..no glue was used. I need to post a new video...I took breathtaking's advice and did straightbacks...it came out sooo good..

  • ok i was watchin a music vid this vid was on a side bar nd i didnt noe yu had to go thru all this 4 that i thought yu just used a straightner thats fing crazy

  • how did you do the closure part?

    did you use glue?

  • Cute ;)

  • whats the name of this song? very nice!

  • thanks @breathtaking...I tried it and it came out great....

  • look at the video "invisible part full sew in weave tutorial (no glue) and you will see wat i mean :)

  • it was nice but what i think you should do is do straight back cornrows because with the way its cornrowed in the front, its gaps in between the cornrows so if you do straight back cornrows, yu wont see the gap its hard to explain but hope yu understand

  • Very nice you make me want to try it. Aww
