When this episode came out, It ACTUALLY predicted Nathan would turn on his kind and Sylar would kill Nathan in season 3!! no matter how hard they tried in changing the future, it ALWAYS ended up with Sylar killing Nathan, Sylar PRETENDING to be Nathan, and Nathan turning on his "own kind"!!!

I like how earlier there were moments when he gave himself a chance to discover some good in himself but quickly returned to the dark side given the slightest mistreatment from the world around him. His true nature is dark and he should be left unredeemable. Yes I think he should be bothered by the idea of being "alone" but that should not be the sole driving force of his actions towards the end.
You'd think they had a budget get good teachers/choreographers for these guys, rather than show off special effects, which even then is a rare thing to see in a show of superheroes: special effects.
yeah...this ain't happening anymore since Sylar has turned to the Hero side and Peter kinda forgives him =( but well we saw him make Sylar bit the dust using the Haitian power...he didn't killed Sylar because of Nathan memories. But hey, they can coexist now so, let's just hope that in the final volume Brave New World, they find a Super Uber Villain that can make Sylar cry out for his Mother and force Peter to stop being afraid of felling empathy and use all of his power

The season 3 finale set up this fight perfectly. Peter has no idea that Nathan is really Sylar. Sylar is eventually going to get his memory back and Peter is eventually going to get his original power back and we're heading towards this epic fight I can feel it.
the problem is how did Sylar get back upstairs after peter knocked him out.... wouldn't Peter see the real Nathan dead...and y not use Claire's blood to bring him back ....there were problems with this episode
i really hate how they took all of peter powers away, and gave him a crap version of his original one. they better do something cool for the season finale like giving him his powers back, or having him touch syler and mimicking all of sylars powers

Couple of interesting points on the "future" scene we see here.
Peter has the scar (seen later in series), Sylar is evil (Back now in season 3), Nathan is said to have "turned on his own kind". Could this be a real future? Note: Is sylar using freeze hands?
However, problems: How could Nathan get back into politics? Nicky is dead, and if sylar is using freeze hands then is that the third sister?
Put it this way, don't discount the fact that the writers didn't know this all along xD
But if you think of it when Sylar said "What I did?" *uses Cryokinesis* "When I killed Nathan he had already turned against he's own kind."
So this means the explosion must have caused outrage throughout America and since Nathan was supposed to be in power, he wanted to keep his seat by telling every1 the cause of the explosion and exposing people with abilities - OBVIOUSLY (or something happened similar to that)...
Yes there were three sisters of Strauss family (I think that was the original name since it is Tracey's real name - mabye the sisters were adopted so who knows)...
Niki Sanders had Enhanced Strength Tracey Strauss had Cryokinesis
Barbara had an unknown ability
ALL were synthetic.
HOWEVER! One of Sylar's first abilities was Cryokinesis from - do you remember Molly? Well in Season 1 it shows her father dead frozen with skull in half, brain missing with a spoon in his hand. He had Cryokinesis
In case you havent known, I have watched Episode 20 of Season 3 and so have all Americans (Im from Australia but I watched it on websites).
You should watch Season 1 and 2 again - and 3 - but especially 1 & 2 as they are more connected (in Australia the idiots didnt put the last 2 episodes of Season 2 on tv and probably wont put episodes 14-23 in Australia on tv as well!!!! NO!!!!)

You are right and I called this as well. Nathan turned against his own kind this season and Sylar came very close to killing Nathan in this past episode. Sylar now wants to be president, so he's trying to take over Nathan's life.
Peter needs to get his abilities back fast or he needs to touch Sylar ands get all of his abilities if he is to stop Sylar once more.
I think that when ever they go to the future it's the same thing. No matter how the world will "end" this will happen. Wether blowing up New York, the Virus, or the drug. In every future Peter has his Scar and he is considered a Villian and the World is not as it seems.
sylar is fucking gay. peter rapes him. peter can just stop his powers considering his been next to the haitian guy. he would have absorbed his power. peter can turn sylars powers off like turning off the lights he doesnt need to kill him.(id cut his body into timy pieces then throw them into the sun tho)
Peter can take all abilities. That includes the Haitian's ability. Although, I'm not sure if he knew he had the Haitian's ability. Now everything has changed. Peter has gotten so weak. I liked his old power. I hope he gets that one back.
That just happens so that a very important(and great imo) character die suddendly although his a villain. The only other reason I could think Peter doesn't control time in his encounters with Sylar is that he probably can't use too many powers altogether 'cause he gets destabilized after that and goes kaboom(confirm this) Future Peter would probably be aware of that possibility and wouldn't try overdoing it with his powers.
Peter probably would have stopped time in his fight against Sylar. He just didn't. Maybe he wanted Sylar to come at him with everything he got. He wanted to make Sylar suffer for everything he did. So, he made the fight last longer to make Sylar suffer more. I think Peter overcame that weakness (the blowing up thing). I'm not sure, though.
Sylar had five years to get abilities. He probably would have gotten time-space manipulation from someone during that time so stopping time wouldn't work.
How do you know? In this future, he had five years to collect abilities, there's a relatively high chance than he chanced upon some guy with space-time manipulation. Also, why would Sylar fight Peter if he knows that Peter has space-time manipulation? He would have made an effort to get space-time manipulation also so that he would not be defeated. That's another fact that increases the likelihood of Sylar having space-time manipulation in this future.
Nathan and West both have flight as their ability. Adam and Claire both have rapid cellular regeneration as their ability. This shows that it is possible to have multiple people with the same ability. Therefore, it is possible that Sylar might have gotten space-time manipulation from someone during that five years.
Sylar thinks he is so powerful that guys like Peter are nothing to him. Besides, just having space-time manipulation doesn't mean that you can kill guys like Sylar. Somehow, he survived being stabbed by Hiro. And this was before Sylar got Claire's ability. Maybe that's the reason why he faced Peter's ability. He had Claire's ability so he wasn't afraid of dying.
I don't think Sylar can take a guy who can control time and space. If he could, he would have gone after Hiro. And if Sylar did have the ability to control time and space, why didn't he use it in his fight against Peter?
Some people think that Future Peter would've won because he can stop time but Future Sylar has stated that "he has already collected so many powers that he just wants to eliminate the competition now." Don't you think that he might have gotten space-time manipulation in those five years? Also, Sylar is not stupid. He knows Peter can stop time so he would've tried to absorb it from someone before fighting him so that he wouldn't get owned.
Its wierd how future hiro was trying so hard to stop this future and same with future peter, and yet this future seems to still be coming into place. "Nathan against his own kind," and now it seems like he is.

If sylar got Hiro's power:
1) Freeze time. Teleport to Hiro. Kill Hiro.
2) With time still frozen, Sylar could find and kil Molly.
3) Sylar could then find and kill anyone and nobody could stop him.

Maby when it happend it was so deep are in a sucha fasion that when it renirated it left a scar it happens with normal healings why not with reniration

Couple of interesting points on the "future" scene we see here.
Peter has the scar (seen later in series), Sylar is evil (Back now in season 3), Nathan is said to have "turned on his own kind". Could this be a real future? Note: Is sylar using freeze hands?
However, problems: How could Nathan get back into politics? Nicky is dead, and if sylar is using freeze hands then is that the third sister?
Put it this way, don't discount the fact that the writers didn't know this all along xD

But if you think of it when Sylar said "What I did?" *uses Cryokinesis* "When I killed Nathan he had already turned against he's own kind."
So this means the explosion must have caused outrage throughout America and since Nathan was supposed to be in power, he wanted to keep his seat by telling every1 the cause of the explosion and exposing people with abilities - OBVIOUSLY (or something happened similar to that)...

Yes there were three sisters of Strauss family (I think that was the original name since it is Tracey's real name - mabye the sisters were adopted so who knows)...
Niki Sanders had Enhanced Strength Tracey Strauss had Cryokinesis
Barbara had an unknown ability
ALL were synthetic.
HOWEVER! One of Sylar's first abilities was Cryokinesis from - do you remember Molly? Well in Season 1 it shows her father dead frozen with skull in half, brain missing with a spoon in his hand. He had Cryokinesis

In case you havent known, I have watched Episode 20 of Season 3 and so have all Americans (Im from Australia but I watched it on websites).
You should watch Season 1 and 2 again - and 3 - but especially 1 & 2 as they are more connected (in Australia the idiots didnt put the last 2 episodes of Season 2 on tv and probably wont put episodes 14-23 in Australia on tv as well!!!! NO!!!!)
Ask me if you are confused-everything the writers of the series did is correct and I am so surprised at that!

I can see this scene coming true, which would be awesome given that there is nothing anybody wants more than a proper peter sylar fight :P

BTW, Sylar's deep voice does not mean he has Eden's porsuasion power. It was just for coolness.
Same with the scene where Sylar meets Peter and says "I remember you" in a deep voice.

He concentrates the telekinesis to a certain point thus decreasing the whole surface area of the ability to a cutting point (so he can cut off heads)

This season you can see this future playing out.
Ex. Sylar says when he killed Nathan it was after he betrayed his own kind. Nathan is doing just that this season.
I bet at the end of the season Sylar is going to kill Nathan.

You are right and I called this as well. Nathan turned against his own kind this season and Sylar came very close to killing Nathan in this past episode. Sylar now wants to be president, so he's trying to take over Nathan's life.
Peter needs to get his abilities back fast or he needs to touch Sylar ands get all of his abilities if he is to stop Sylar once more.

I think that when ever they go to the future it's the same thing. No matter how the world will "end" this will happen. Wether blowing up New York, the Virus, or the drug. In every future Peter has his Scar and he is considered a Villian and the World is not as it seems.

Peter can take all abilities. That includes the Haitian's ability. Although, I'm not sure if he knew he had the Haitian's ability. Now everything has changed. Peter has gotten so weak. I liked his old power. I hope he gets that one back.

That just happens so that a very important(and great imo) character die suddendly although his a villain. The only other reason I could think Peter doesn't control time in his encounters with Sylar is that he probably can't use too many powers altogether 'cause he gets destabilized after that and goes kaboom(confirm this) Future Peter would probably be aware of that possibility and wouldn't try overdoing it with his powers.

Peter probably would have stopped time in his fight against Sylar. He just didn't. Maybe he wanted Sylar to come at him with everything he got. He wanted to make Sylar suffer for everything he did. So, he made the fight last longer to make Sylar suffer more. I think Peter overcame that weakness (the blowing up thing). I'm not sure, though.

Sylar had five years to get abilities. He probably would have gotten time-space manipulation from someone during that time so stopping time wouldn't work.

How do you know? In this future, he had five years to collect abilities, there's a relatively high chance than he chanced upon some guy with space-time manipulation. Also, why would Sylar fight Peter if he knows that Peter has space-time manipulation? He would have made an effort to get space-time manipulation also so that he would not be defeated. That's another fact that increases the likelihood of Sylar having space-time manipulation in this future.

Nathan and West both have flight as their ability. Adam and Claire both have rapid cellular regeneration as their ability. This shows that it is possible to have multiple people with the same ability. Therefore, it is possible that Sylar might have gotten space-time manipulation from someone during that five years.

Sylar thinks he is so powerful that guys like Peter are nothing to him. Besides, just having space-time manipulation doesn't mean that you can kill guys like Sylar. Somehow, he survived being stabbed by Hiro. And this was before Sylar got Claire's ability. Maybe that's the reason why he faced Peter's ability. He had Claire's ability so he wasn't afraid of dying.

Some people think that Future Peter would've won because he can stop time but Future Sylar has stated that "he has already collected so many powers that he just wants to eliminate the competition now." Don't you think that he might have gotten space-time manipulation in those five years? Also, Sylar is not stupid. He knows Peter can stop time so he would've tried to absorb it from someone before fighting him so that he wouldn't get owned.
