  • wow my cars got like 12 times more power

  • Comment removed

  • I would not want to see a car accident in this car...

  • meets safety regulations IN INDIA....... What safety regulatoins?

  • @CrackCommando5654 you haven't offended me.

  • my right nut is bigger than this car!!!

  • A car that needs to go straight from the factory to the junkyard

  • The Nano is not even selling well on its home market of India! I would not try to sell it anywhere else.

  • where's fpsrussia with high explosives when you need him?

  • "not only meets but exeeds safety regulations in india" that's like being the smartest kid with down syndrom!

  • 0-40mph in 22 seconds.

    60? lol

  • my lawn mower has more horsepower

  • tata makes cheap fucking wooden cars, im surprised they make these types of cars

  • The Ford t model and the fiat 500 revolutionized the people car, the Volkswagen wasn't cheap enough.

  • Better than a Morris Oxford, which nearly all indians drive

  • Jeremy Clarkson needs to test drive one of these....would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Fucking hilarious to watch him make fun of it mercilessly. It would give him a new target over caravans for something to destroy.

  • Can i drive this car please?

    i have a deathwish!!

  • what an ugly car.

  • Say all you want about the cheapness of the car, it not the problem - there surly is a market for that, and you can not really say that it will break right away yet.

I've seen as small mini-cars and semi-cars on the streets already. I am only concerned about the "safety regulations in India". Both in their contents and how they are actually executed.

  • could you imagine getting hit by a truck or train in that, fuck there would be nothing left. that is not a car it has a two cylinder engine that is a fucking for wheeled bike i can ride faster than that thing.it probably can't even get over a speed bump.

  • @l3m30nbitch With regard to the speed, it appears you didn't watch the video. It can keep up with city traffic. With respect to getting hit by a large vehicle, you're probably right. OTOH, it's probably no more dangerous than most other small cars.

  • 0 to 60 by 2003

  • That thing would break in a second the way i'd drive it

  • looks like the fucking gay smart

  • im not being racist but when i heard there voices it reminded me of a corner shop lol

  • @gpgpgp13322 Yeah when we hear your voices it reminds us of irritating tourists.

  • @panniize lol but im not even being racist i like your kind but it just reminded me of one your saying that because i said it too you lol

  • @gpgpgp13322 Lol np. <3

  • oh god i want to see some ballers throw some D's on that bitch. !

  • @GAzone6

    It gets 55-60 MPG.

  • @GAzone6

Have you seen it's crash test?

  • @GAzone6

    Yes, it does have airbags.

  • @GAzone6

    With 200,000 miles on them.

  • this car is too small for this guy.

  • Put two poles on both sides and voila you have a Rick

  • How about giving it a 12" lift, turn it into a 4 x4 add a roll bar and put some fucking big off road tyres on it. You could put some hydrolics on it carnal and do some low riding homie

  • @6950062 i dont think rednecks live in india bro hahaha...

  • it will release in the usa in 2013 for 6k AWESOME

  • @purplegill10

It will be better though with leather seats.

  • This thing is so cheap that some places thaat are normaly welded are connected with glue

  • @Chris40679 yet it passed Euro Crash Test with 3 stars..

Height of hypocrisy awards goes to YOU!

  • @cagednm69 That does not effect its safety dumbass, Try to tell me that superglue is more expensive than welding? Im talking about price not safety.

  • i rather take the freakin bus then let my friends see me drive this shit.

  • India Got every thing here.. Audi is a common car today.. in india audi bmw n benz are used as taxis... trust me most of the lexuary cars are taxies in here... hahaha.. i wonder y? tata nano is never a taxi... we got 3 wheel riksha.. as taxi.. my wike worth more than this car.. but this care is a car and is always a car. ITS TATA.. they got Jaguar n Land rover under there pocket...

  • It's hideous looking.

  • I would buy it in USA but, the dam American say " it don't pass safely regulation ".

  • @volure1

It passes safety regulations such as collision. It just doesn't pass some other tests.

  • wtf???tata where suppost to be all electric???they bought are concept(quebec idea)and they run it with gas????wtf they did???where is the electric model???we got bullshitted bigtime

  • i like 7/11

  • what a mess.

  • they had fiat 126p with 650 cc 2 cylinder engine real wheel drive 4 seater in poland back in 70 and 80 which still drive today are we going back? We need electric tata nano

  • That car looks so terrible. And to think, TATA motors owns Jaguar and Land Rover, two car companies that produce giant, powerful luxury cars. That car looks terrible in almost every aspect. For my first car I would just get a 2004 XJ.

  • @VhUgGz

roll eyes. seriously. This is in India not USA you think people there can afford USA type of cars?

  • @VhUgGz

This is designed for poor people to afford a car.

  • @wiigamer136 Still... it's so hot there how could you survive? >_>

  • @VhUgGz

The standard model has no AC. The upgraded model does. Plus, Indians are used to the heat. My uncle never uses his AC there in India. He just rolls down his windows.

  • @wiigamer136 Are you Indian? Rofl.

  • @VhUgGz

Yeah, I am Indian. However, I lived in the USA for 90% of my life.

  • @wiigamer136 I'm not Indian. I probably wouldn't want to be. >_>

  • @VhUgGz

    lol, that's your opinion.

  • @wiigamer136 Yeah... x-D

  • This car was made to fund for the missles to bomb pakistan lol i m serious

  • ipod nano

  • the camera angles makes it look even smaller...

  • but does it say Micro Machines?

  • That is not a car test. It is a commercial.

  • @dude2106 I know TATA probably paid them to say only positive stuff lol

  • I´m from Argentina, muy dream is to have one!

  • I´m from Argentina, my dream is to have one!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tata Nano in Europe? Yes for City, Absolutely not outside city... too slow , even for some citys where they have fast lanes.

  • Isn't this one of those play things you put your kids in when you go shopping? This ain't real is it? Is it? So you buy one of these mean machines and wonder why everyone is pointing and laughing? Man, has this made me laugh... XD

  • @tomthumbplum

    Its called affordable motoring.

  • The guy is driving the higher version of TATA nano the 1 lac version is RED car ...

  • This tata Nano has even passed europe pollution and also crash test to enter europe market.......

  • Do not expect a Ferrari for $3000. Kids buy laptops these days for $3-5 k. You are getting a car for that price!

  • can't they have big cars like in Europe or America because of all the holy cows? XD

  • Five cars burned down after sudden combustion. Buy a fire-suit and an extinguisher if youre gonna buy one.

  • I bet the government told him to make the car sound good...

  • for people who hate gettin above 5

  • WHY IS IT NOT SOLD IN THE WEST , YET ?

  • @ANTIDALLARD Because they have better things to use for firewood.

  • @jalexrosh Hey , if the price is right. Even firewood has a value. I mean if this is a cheap way to get around. !!

  • @ANTIDALLARD Ya but human beings lives are not cheap and I bet noone would want to burn to death in his car or soap box. And by the way the price is not right. Also this car will be out of production in 1 or 2 years, mark my words and you wanna bet on that?

  • good but very slow car.

  • ooooh yeah....0-60?....never?

  • that shit isnt a cat its a mailbox with wheels

  • I heard ferrari & mercedez is using the same composite technology of Tata Nano build....

  • @Shutkaroo what composit technology? there is no composite technology in tata nano. its just small and light and full of plastic and cheap. but it all works for people who cant afford more expensive cars. and the besr part is that it is safe. it passed euro n-cap crash tests.

  • it looks like a pikachu xD ~top gear~

  • ...it Exceeds safety regulations in India, so does a cow parked in the fast lane.

  • @Chaodragon07 That was just it's optional automatic grill.

  • does it fit 4 full size adults or 4 full size indians? ahaha

  • @ymerdrengene haha!

  • "This car never reminds you of the fact that it is a low cost car" LOL LOL LOL

  • this car is unsafe in side crahes.. A hummer would trample this at a red light race

  • it will have a larger engine and longer warranty when it hits the states

  • In India it's a great car and a revolutionary way of transportation, but if you live in Europe, USA or whatever, just buy a used 10 to 15-year old Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Toyota or something like that instead...

  • @Toerme

Yeah but what if u get a TATA nano in 15 years?

    Maybe 300-500 USD.

  • @wiigamer136 I would rather buy a bicycle for 500 USD :D

  • @Toerme

    Well, that's you.

  • @Toerme

You can't find a 10-15 year old Mercedes nor BMW for $2500 in the USA. They would cost at least $7500. At that price, you could get a great car in India.

  • hope they offer a lease program with a buyback on residual value because no fucker with half a brain would keep this piece of shit any longer than 24 months. hey what would this car look like if you smashed the fucker into an armco barrier? I know the driver would like a fuckin tuna sandwich after the impact!!

  • makes hyundai and Kia look a fuckin rolls royce. what about the Elk test. Watch this fucker roll over and the roof cave in. HA HA

  • 24000kms that is (warranty)

  • the warranty says it all, 18 month, 24 kilometers. it's fucked after 2 years.

  • the world's cheapest car coincidentally happens to be the biggest piece of shit on four wheels.

  • the front end looks like a copied toyota prius, has anyone noticed?

  • If it lasts 30,000 miles it'll pay for itself assuming it sells for $2200. But at $6500 it won't sell in America unless they give it 80+ HP.

  • love how it says exceeds safty in india so does that mean it waits at least 5 seconds to explode after you hit the tree or are the seats just flame retarded

  • Your video is wonderful

    Please look at

    London-delhi1

    Its t worth to look

  • I love HareeShree but, Tata nano is nothing more than a toy don't insult car. If you like it too much then call it as auto rickshaw not more than that

  • i wonder if that tiny 623cc engine would last over 100,000kms

  • I dont think it would, but even if it doesnt, how much would you think it would be to replace it? couple hundred? definitely worth it

  • Honda motocycle in Vietnam got 50cc last 45 years and still running with good oil!

  • yeah but that's a honda

  • Nami Tit fck - _BADXXXCHICKS._COM_

  • Can this car go on the highway? What's the top speed of this car with 32.5 horsepower? hard to imagine/

  • sure, it uses a motorcycle engine it might have to work harder but it can. besideds its intended for in-city travel

  • So This is just a motor cycle with a steel frame on it? LOL There's no air conditioning available for this car ..Hard to belive drving this under Mumbai's 45 degrees harsh condition.

  • and come monsoon season? people would be greatfull for this instead of a motorbike its a $2500 american car... for 500$ more you get air and radio what more can you get for $3000

  • That's true though. This nano is the best suitable car for India considering it's still a developing country. In a long term, the nano is just the indian's 1st step to car ownership. There'll be more welldesigned cars coming up in the future..

  • well said

  • Exceeds safety regulations in india, oh yeah, i feel really safe now LOL

  • hey look my name is nano 2

  • Check out Ron Jeremy driving the Tata Potatoe, Thats one cool car. XD

  • let's do a crash test with the truck and the nano

    truck > nano

  • Nikki Knox - 1st Time Teens #1 - Scene 1 - _APRETTYGIRLS{.}COM_

  • People comparing this to others and even Luxury vehicles. The whole point of a car is to bring you from point A to point B. So if you think about it, all cars are the same as long as they get you there. So who cares if you have a luxury car. Wow you have leather seats, chrome rims and all the amenties. It may bring you to your destination with heads turning. But what does that really do for you? A tata nano can take you to your destination as well, and guess what, I bet it gets better MPG's

  • @ebmirador you are wrong, the point of a car is not only for transportation but for pleasure driving as well, you don't buy a nice car to show off, you buy one becuase it's more enjoyable, it has speed and handling and soul and etc. Driving is supposed to be fun, and not a chore.

but you do have a point, nobody cares if you have a luxury car, buy whatever you like, not what will turn heads. For the nano the fun is in its nippiness and being able to go through every little corner.

  • I'm sorry, But I can see it now, People carrying these cars up stairs to their living room so they can save money on parking XD

  • These are for turd-world countries only.

  • tata nano is for to uplift the downtroddon people not for rich

  • You people are fucking stupid. Mark these spam comments as "spam" instead of giving it a thumbs down. You're the main reason why people get away with this shit.

  • If it comes to the U.S., it will cost 3x as much and still be a POS.

  • juz giv me Bmw car ..bmw rulez!lolz

  • Definitely safer than motorcycles or tricycles. With its price, I think it is suited in the Philippines to replace motorcycles, which contribute to rising daily death statistics in Philippine road.

  • O never mind, I got it wrong.

  • No seat belts, a dangerous factor eh.

  • It has seat belts.

  • This car will bring India to the worldwide competitiion!

  • i love how they say that it exceeds safety regulations in India....

does it have a seat.....yes ok... this is a very good......

Anyways i think this littlw car is great

  • I'd like to buy one of those! But I live in Sweden! I don't want no huge expensive fuelhungry swedish or german car. Small japanese cars are ok but to expensive.

  • i couIdnt spot a Iie or anything fishy for that matter?? do you have any cIear drawback in the car to point out or you just feeI its cooI being a cynic?

  • Plastic is very light, and strong.

I bet it's better than that shitty BMW concept made from cloth.

  • wow thats a big car

  • This will bankrupt Maruti Suzuki in India in the future.

  • and thats a good thing. At last indians will drive a india built car :)

  • hahaha that's kinda harsh

  • its killing turtles!!!................ : (

  • lol whats the difference between the tata nano and the smart fortwo?

  • The difference between $2,000 and $13,000... get it?

  • i didnt mean price. i meant physically built

  • well the difference between life and death in a 40mph crash

  • it doesn't ride like my 1994 Lincoln Town car....

  • @notyerslave

I agree with you when you say that India and china, owing to their huge population and rapid (and not-so-planned) industrialization need to take the charge in environmental concerns. I, however will not agree that US or other developed countries can afford to put a blind eye, considering, majority of the pollution today is the result of the industrialization in the past 200 yrs; chiefly in the said countries.

  • I want to see a crash test and I want a non-Indian person to review it.

Of course it will be "a very great car" when some Indian people review it. But I can make a car out of a motorcycle for equally cheap and equal quality.

I'm guessing you would be dead instantly in any crash with a typical car on the road in the US. But it's good for the environment, I guess?

  • I don't have any idea why you are injecting race into the issue. And, no, you can't build a new car like for $2500 out of new motorcycle parts. This car is for *India* and is likely much safer and "greener" than a lot of the beat up 2-stroke rigs and 3-wheelers many people there currently drive. And a lot cheaper than the average import. I think they've done a great job.

  • If you have been in India and driven in the heavy traffic of metro cities, you know most of the pollution on the roads are due to the pathetic 3 wheelers which, in many cases use kerosene. Man, when we do nano bashing based on pollution, I feel so foolish. Environment is every one's concern, but we are just targeting the wrong person.

  • I haven't seen any green info on the car, but China and India, not the US, need to be on the forefront of pollution control. Hopefully this is a first step. Very good mass transit is probably a better idea than encouraging autos.

  • Last I checked, India was a country, not a race. They may be slightly biased in bragging up their national auto company. Just saying.

  • @Mr notyerslave.

No 1 said nano is as safe as a tank. Sure such cars are available, pls go ahead and buy one. Nano serves a different audience, ppl from 3rd world economies, who are less privileged than yourself.

Tata's did not promise they will invent a new only-i-can-do car. They promised a more affordable version, and they did it, using cut-the-flab-thats-not-needed-tools. Nano wont drive like a BMW or outperform your honda city. It will just make owning a car more affordable.

    Simple...

  • Autocar have already commended it, that's British and they seem to know a thing or two about cars...
