Actually, it was Russia that first supported the establishment of Israel from the beginning, not the US. The US didn't heartily jump onboard until the 1960s.

You are correct that US support of the Israeli government has kept this nonsense going. Also realize that if the US wasn't there it would be France or another country these tricksters would be taking for a ride.
