Truly a humble, compassionate man that God has used to help many of men.
This is my precious Dad singing in this video. He has lost 50 lbs and cannot hardly eat anything but still praises the Lord when He is at Himself. I He is in the NH for going on 3 yrs. patiently waiting to go to his new Heavenly Home.. He is the most Godly Man of God that I know and you may not believe this and that is your business but just wait when we stand before God you will see this Godly Man receiving all his jewels in his crown. I miss Brother Earl at our camp meeting he used to come to every summer. So some may watch this and not understand what is going on. When you get in a good service and God shows up lol ya never know what some folks may do....some are led to do what they do by the Spirit of God some by the flesh. But like I said Brother Earl had God all over Him he was special.
I cant say for sure whether all of this was done in the Spirit, but I can say is this Brother Earl Hughes has God all over him and was a very very special man of God. He has blessed me so many times when I have heard him preach, and even to be around him is a great blessing. When I think of him driving all over the country in his little Geo Metro with Hundreds of thousands of miles on it just to preach the gospel it brings tears to my eyes.

Where ever this church is at, the "Park Family Bluegrass Band" wants to come kick up some bluegrass gospel with these folks! The joy they have has to last through the week until the next Sunday morning! Love this! Truly, got to worship with these folks, check us out on facebook!

I'm all for shouting and having a good time. If a person's excitement in a church is genuine, then what can I say? However, the people in this video look as if they just wanted an excuse to run around. The guy on the platform behind the singer looks like he was just waiting for a moment so that he could take off running, like it was pre-planned. The guy at the very end that was dancing...when he stopped, he turned and looked to see who was looking at him.
OK folks. I agree, this appears extreme to my taste on how to have church. I am sure it felt good though. However, most every comment here has been about what is right or wrong IN church. Everybody has a FORM of how they do church. What you do in church doesn't matter to God as much as the way you act and what you do when you take YOUR FORM of religion off. How about it? When you leave your own preferable churches and styles of church, Is God singing and shouting over your walk then.

I do love the joy and freedom in Brother Earl Hughes singing. I'm sorry to hear he had a stroke. How is he doing now? I wish we had more open enthusiasm in our church! I'm not saying anyone has to jump into the baptistry (!), but we should not be afraid to express our inexplicable joy and enthusiasm for our Lord and King and the fact that we will ultimately reign with Him. It was a very low time for me when someone put this on facebook, I had a belly laugh that day, and ever since. I love this man of God and feel his joy, and the joy of the brothers leaping, dancing. As far as having the power of God in someones life, You should have as much as the person you seem to be admiring. I remember the exact moment I accepted JESUS into my life. I could have danced at that moment, I did in my SOUL. We all could learn by this Video of Body of CHRIST followers. We took Daddy to Church yesterday and it was the best service I have ever been in. He cried like a baby whenever the kids sang Jesus Loves Me and said AMEN real loud whwnever the Preacher preached. Held on and cried when all the people hugged him. It was pricless. Jesus passed by that is for sure..
Daddy was doing grear Sat. My little grandson pushed him 5 times in the parking lot and he died laughung. It was wonderful to see him like that. He wasnt doing very good yesterday.. Thank you God Bless

He doesnt judge others he just wants everyone to go to Heaven to br with the Lord eternal. He is in Nursing Home had a massive storke oveer a yr ago. I've read most of the posts on here, and I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you: I believe in the power of the Holy Ghost and I believe that God will move in any way He sees fit. Whether or not these people are doing the right thing is not up for debate. They're praising the Lord the way they feel the need to and if you rebuke that or spurn them for that, then YOU need to see where YOU stand with the Lord. Don't judge people by how they praise the Lord. "Judge not, lest ye be judged"!
I am a member of this church. After reading all the comments, I feel compelled to respond. This has not happened before, or since this video took place in 2003, but I can tell you, our church was going through a great storm, so whether what took place that night was spiritual, or just hist having a great time being excited over a song sung by an old man of God, I don't know, but it sure was great! I thank God for that night, and feel honored to have been a part of it!

He preach anywhere they would let him He certainly was not asahamed of the Lord. He would preach as high as 12 times a day. No sin in getting excited but I wouldn't say the Holy Ghost did it. You don't have to have the Holy Ghost to run and shout. The guy definitley used effort to throw himself into that baptistry. But I would much rather see people run and shout than people speak in false tongues and claim to prophecy while having no real experience with God.

Just like Jesus was thankful for the Pharisee's letting Him know how displeased God was that He was healing on the Sabbath. I do love the joy and freedom in Brother Earl Hughes singing. I'm sorry to hear he had a stroke. How is he doing now? I wish we had more open enthusiasm in our church! I'm not saying anyone has to jump into the baptistry (!), but we should not be afraid to express our inexplicable joy and enthusiasm for our Lord and King and the fact that we will ultimately reign with Him. Hallelujah!

It was a very low time for me when someone put this on facebook, I had a belly laugh that day, and ever since. I love this man of God and feel his joy, and the joy of the brothers leaping, dancing. As far as having the power of God in someones life, You should have as much as the person you seem to be admiring. On another hand, there is a difference to what is God and what is in response to what we feel about God. Maybe you should be careful issuing fear engendered words. You better be real sure that IS God.

You gotta love these People and their Church, Pastor and People. I'm a born again Christian and have been a Southern Baptist ever since I was 12yrs when I ask JESUS in my life. I remember the exact moment I accepted JESUS into my life. I could have danced at that moment, I did in my SOUL. We all could learn by this Video of Body of CHRIST followers. We took Daddy to Church yesterday and it was the best service I have ever been in. He cried like a baby whenever the kids sang Jesus Loves Me and said AMEN real loud whwnever the Preacher preached. Held on and cried when all the people hugged him. It was pricless. Jesus passed by that is for sure..

@timothymadox I don't intend to argue but if u make it to heaven, your degree and travel won't hold a candle to these ppl. God is pleased with true joy and freedom to express it. Remember how David stripped down to his ephod and danced wildly/madly before God! These ppl are that thankful for what God has done for them! God laughs, he dances, he has fun, he is full of joy and freedom. He is not stiff necked and full of dignity.

FEW know this joy. Who are we to judge?God was pleased with the zeal these ppl have for their salvation. To you who say this isn't the Spirit,why does it have to be? Why can't they just be expressing their freedom in salvation?Didn't David strip down to his ephod &dance ridiculously before God? No one got hurt & the singer was laughing because he was experiencing joy too. God was probably laughing too,but with joy that these ppl are not bound by man's religious views. He doesnt judge others he just wants everyone to go to Heaven to br with the Lord eternal. He is in Nursing Home had a massive storke oveer a yr ago. Praises God everyday is a witness for the Lord even in his terriblr health. Please pray for him and our Family as we take car of him and our Mother. Thank you Wanda

I'm very sorry to hear that he's in the home and that he's had a massive stroke, but it doesn't surpise me that he continues to be a witness. It's obvious that your dad is the real deal. This is not a pentecostal church. It is an Independent Baptist Church. The preacher is Evangelist Earl Hughes, and I think that is Bro. Danny Hall playing the guitar. Baptist Camp Meetings would scare most Pentecostals! LOL

The responses below lead me to think that there were some 'bad' comments. I am sorry to see that. I gotta admit we laughed at the gentleman falling in the baptismal tank and the other gentleman chuckin' his coat at the singer....BUT...this is real. Being an apostolic i say.... PRAISE ON!!! What made us laugh is how Mr. Hughes was able to keep singing and worshiping with all that going on around him. I hope he recovers well!

I've read most of the posts on here, and I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you: I believe in the power of the Holy Ghost and I believe that God will move in any way He sees fit. Whether or not these people are doing the right thing is not up for debate. They're praising the Lord the way they feel the need to and if you rebuke that or spurn them for that, then YOU need to see where YOU stand with the Lord. Don't judge people by how they praise the Lord. "Judge not, lest ye be judged"!

I am a member of this church. After reading all the comments, I feel compelled to respond. This has not happened before, or since this video took place in 2003, but I can tell you, our church was going through a great storm, so whether what took place that night was spiritual, or just hist having a great time being excited over a song sung by an old man of God, I don't know, but it sure was great! I thank God for that night, and feel honored to have been a part of it!

He preach anywhere they would let him He certainly was not asahamed of the Lord. He would preach as high as 12 times a day. Bro Danny I am not bragging, but I know the kind oflife he has lived and still living. You know we nwver know what will become of this video. Someone might be saved and Revival might break out.. No sin in getting excited but I wouldn't say the Holy Ghost did it. You don't have to have the Holy Ghost to run and shout. The guy definitley used effort to throw himself into that baptistry. But I would much rather see people run and shout than people speak in false tongues and claim to prophecy while having no real experience with God.

Just like Jesus was thankful for the Pharisee's letting Him know how displeased God was that He was healing on the Sabbath. I'm not saying this was or was not from God because I'M NOT HIM AND ITS NOT MY PLACE TO! Just be careful about executing judgment on Gods behalf.
