Great tribute.The story of the E Type should be made into a film, would be a great to develop a story of its development, showing Norman Dewis' race to get to Geneva from Coventry for its launch to the press & amazement of the crowd at the sight this gorgeous car. What a great story, & how they allowed him to board the ferry at the last second because they liked the car so much. TG used to be for working class ppl who could learn about cars & afford everyday motors not about jackass stunts.

I'm from Croatia and I love Top Gear, and I find the show to be hilarious. But... Season 17 was kind of a let down. I have nothing against UK, i think that Great Britain is a great country, but in every show that aired on the last season, they were promoting something British and I found that a bit boring. I love when they do some kind of a race across the Europe or some kind of a challenge in the third world countries and in season 17 that was missing. Just my opinion.

@matej018 That's because TopGear is made for a British audience (who pay the Licence Fee).It's not made specifically for an international audience.Series 17 incidentally was excellent.Besides you cannot expect the BBC to do trips across Europe and around the world all the time,they're ferociously expensive!!

really makes me wish i was british, drove around my town on the 4th of july blasting fortunate son by creedence clearwater revival blowing my dixie horn (dukes of hazard ftw) and waving a giant 7 foot american flag, and only one homeless guy who was probly a vietnam vet gave me a standing ovation, atleast you limey brits (i mean that affectionatly) have some damn pride in your country
