Say, I don't really like his voice or his haircut annoys me... but their time changes and slow build makes them anything from dull. There is heaps angst in there. Keep listening, you'll come around. Some of my favorite bands of all time are bands I didn't dig at first (ie. Pavement, Prince)

RE: Where's the wireless mic?

I trust that Win is aware of the existence of wireless microphones, and I suspect their techs could even figure out a way to make his vintage Electrovoice EV 664 wireless, by modifying it with a transmitter. The fact that he uses it in this fashion just adds another layer of awesomeness for me. They have a couple 664s on stage. There's one on Regine's side too. Perhaps they came from his grandpa's radio shack. Lots of ham operators had that mike.

@scarlie1234cool its not auto tune...its the fact that in the studio they go over songs again and again until its perfect...and they do each instrument and vocal separately until they have perfect recordings of each, then splice each together and manipulate volume levels of each to make the perfect sound. Arcade fire does not use auto tuning...and its obvious in both the recorded and live versions that they dont. Frankly, im insulted that youd say that they do...
