I put this tool on top of my wishlist but......waaay over prized! Shame that the developers consider Xynergi to be a gadget for the fetishists buying their little goodies on Christmas.
Awesome, Watch out Digidesign! The power and convenience of the simple Fairlight system is going to be very refreshing. Not very competitive outside of post, as the comment below about the PT system on eBay states, but the price point will not be a problem for the film and TV lots. Good work!
20000 Euros (Price from Germany) is way too much. Ok it kicks ass if you consider the Dsp Power of this thing. But you could probably build a Protools system off ebay for that Cash...
From Fairlight - Great to see so much interest in this product -keep it coming!
Allow us to clear up some confusion - Xynergi is not a $28K keyboard!!
The Xynergi controller is part of a highly specified 'system' that gives you professional tools to build (record, edit and mix) media projects from start to finish. The system is known as the Xynergi Media Production Centre (MPC) which is uniquely hardware accelerated by our CC-1 card. MPC starts at around USD $21K.
Yea, IF they would actually release it. Check the latest news, which say, that its gonna be released this year, but without most of its features. Maximum Optimism is really needed in that case.
Amazing! I want one. What an incredible keyboard. And nice music track - actually sounds like real vintage analogue sounds which is awesome! Who is it?
if something goes wrong, u will have to say:-
"Houston we have problem"

Lol the video is just as cheesy as the stuff we could do with a 90's Fairlight CVI you'd think they would be able to do a little better for $28K

The optimus keyboard is smaller, better looking, can display motion video within the key and $27,000 cheaper. Look it up.

What about Steve Urwin?
Oh, sorry, we're talking audio gear... ;-)
Yep, looks like a great solution for "all the functions you want, in a small console package,
Do I see it changing keys for various apps?
No more stuffing about with various USB "custom keyboards" (or dodgy cardboard key overlays) depending on what app I'm using???
Need more info!!!
