@BeBeXIV Oh, this is so nice that Spain can dump her second hand weapons to Philippine and get money for the Spain's own modernization. And Philippine will eager to use these weapons against her own neighbors. There is no longer peace for Philippine, the South China Sea region and the Filipinos. What a trick the past conqueror (Spain) pulls on its old colony - Philippine. Poor Philippine, it looks her old nightmares re-live again!

@BeBeXIV You are a peaceful person encourages diplomatic dialogue. Unfortunately, Aquino doesn't take this approach. Now Philippine has problems externally (e.g, Malaysia - State of Sabah, Vietnam - Spratley Island etc), internally (Corruptions, Poor economy, Southern Muslim rebels, Pirates etc.) Mother Nature (Typhoon, Volcanoes, Flood etc). The critical problems now is Philippine needs to focus on economy, solve the daily bread of its people. So women & men no longer maid or 'rough hand'!

@tascam10 They are trying to help. This doesn't mean we are still under their colonization gosh.... We still need help China is a giant country and very powerful compared to our Philippine Island. Past is past it's time to heal all those bad that happened to us. American is one of our colonizer but still we have ties with them, We even had American-Filipino war after 1898 and thousand of Filipinos were killed. Why not reconnecting with a nice relationship with Spain. We have to be open minded.

We just have 2 second hand ships to protect our territories & we are just fighting for our rights. We don't want war but if they follow the rights & rules then it's okay but if not Filipinos have to protect it.

@impinai79 Philippine has major economic issues, but instead of fixing the problem, Aquino chooses to spend money on second hand weapons. No wonder Philippines now attracts only past invaders who are THOUSAND miles away(US, Japan, Spain etc) who are now becoming CLOSED 'Friends & Allies' encourage/Persuade Philippine to against possible neighbor invasions. Creating conflicts with neighbors within HUNDRED miles and Sucking Philippine money out from her economy! What a good trick!
