  • this actually might be usefull for Windows XP for people that want to stay with it, if it can indeed be used as a virtual disk, then just put he swap/paging file on it.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 32GB(3 usable) hahahah on 32 bit windows! Epic FAIL!

  • Can this be used with the Z68 E3 Gen3 Mobo?

  • xFast RAM Driver may not be ready, please try later.

I need help with that .Anyone....please

  • @TheDzuSko same problem here! Gear: P67 Extreme6

  • I tried this and now i cannot uninstall it, my computer keeps of downloading the drivers for it on startup, i even deleted the partition itself but it wont uninstall completely, please somebody help!

  • This will help if i got 8GB of RAM and 64 bit os?

  • Please make this technology available for Z68 motherboards also. I am an owner of ASRock Z68 Pro3 and I want to use this technology

  • @ukrainianstudent

It is available for Z68 chipset.. download it on Asrock website...

  • @wajinshu thanks, I found it. I will try and compare it with other vendor's software

  • @ukrainianstudent

    Welcome :)

  • @ukrainianstudent you know how i apply it ? i have the software but i cant find the apply button for it im running asrock p67 pro.

  • @freshboyvic I have the Apply button, I didn't tried it yet because I use another software for RAMDisk now

  • @ukrainianstudent

I also tried Ramdisk but this is more easy to setup *Firefox Cache files etc* I hope this will have google chrome support for cache files.. :)

  • @wajinshu maybe for lamers and newcomers ASRock is better, but for experienced guys - RAMdisk. I know how to put google chrome cache

open the properties of the link for Chrome and put there C:\Users\.........\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe -disk-cache-dir="H:\TEMP\Chrome" where H: stands for your RAMdrive

  • @ukrainianstudent yeah i guess asrock sucks cause i tryied to contact their customer service like two weeks i emailed them nothing back.

  • @freshboyvic hmmm.... they answer my e-mails fast (up to 2 days)

  • 32gigs x79 mobo and you run a 32 bit lol seriously 64bit pro or ultimate if so desired

  • 0:41 32 GB installed 3.2 GB usable lol!! XD

  • Windows 7 home 64bit supports more than 4gb retail copies come with both

  • I just built my x79 system. Used the ASRock Extreme9 mobo. Got 32GB of RAM, but almost made a mistake by getting the home version of W7, which only supports up to 16GB of RAM... so if people out there are building x79 systems with a lot of RAM, it's best if you buy the Professional 64 bit version of Windows 7.

  • One more thing, Windows 32 bit is capable of using 64GB of RAM as seen in the Windows Server operating systems. Windows 7 32 bit is intentionally limited to 4GB so Microsoft can milk their customers for more money.

  • @tux9656 customers? people havent payed for windows since windows 95... i actually remember the schools techy kid installing a pirated version of windows on some school pcs... using floppy discs

  • I'd like to add that even though 32 bit Windows can use 4GB of RAM, 32 bit Windows applications can only use a maximum of 2GB and many applications can only use a maximum of 1GB. This is also true with 32 bit applications on 64 bit Windows. For a gaming system, unless your games have 64 bit binaries or you plan to run other things in the background, any amount of RAM over 6GB is mostly useless and wasted.

  • I am more interested if I can do this in my 64bit OS so I can make a 6GB ramdisk

  • @tevolotaha1 second this question. 64bit os's may see 32GB of ram, but they don't make use of it either :(

  • If u need a 3960X and x79 mobo, then u are going to use more than 4 GB RAM, and you need a 64 bit OS

  • LOL, doesn't this just enable PAE in Windows? Can somebody tell me how this is a feature of the motherboard and not of just Windows?

  • is this out?

  • I like how you simply click on a button and it takes care of every temporary folder ;)

do you know any other software that can do that?

    I have p67 fatal1ty mb (not compatible) :(

  • mad face :D try to relax next time ok?

  • Yes, I'll have you build me one, thank you. What do you mean I have to pay for it?

  • Where's Chris? He's awesome!

  • @XcelentTom

He made his own company XD

  • "It" sounds like a robot lol

  • Now this is usefull .

But if someone has enough money for an x79 mobo , 32Gb ram , than he has enough for an 64bit os .

  • @kristof070 Yup, you're speaking sense! :P

  • @kristof070

Well you need the 64-bit professional edition for the 32 GB. Home Edition is only for 16 GB. And while still getting this board cheaper than the competitors, you indeed save some money. 150-200 dollars probably.

  • @kristof070 buttt. 64Bit can't run all programs, and with a 32Bit os you're 100% sure that u can use all programs:)

  • @GamingFlocka I honestly have never run in to a program I cannot run in x64... being that it also installs x32 apps no problem.

  • @lotor666 well that's you're expierence, for school i had to run a program, but i couldn't because i had 64bit (an older program from ~2004). honestly i would still recommed 64bit soon or later every one will have an 64bit and 32bit programs will simply be not used.

  • what is that waterblock? (brand)

  • Wow, seems to be a neat feature! :)

  • there is a patch that will let window 32 os see the other gigs of ram.
